- "Eine komponierte interpretation" : Schubert's Winterreise for modern ensemble. Much is the same, but the piano is transferred to a small orchestra. Sylvain Cambreling is the conductor.
Schubert would have been totally blown away with this very creative and imaginative setting of his much loved song cycle. I really love the visuals that go with the music. Thanks so much for posting this. It's almost like hearing Winterreise for the very first time.
A very surprising recording.
Modern (orchestration), still romantic (singing)
The composer/arranger must be a Schubert lover. Thanks for sharing
Great orchestration. Never thought I would like a 2nd recording of this cycle after Haken Hagegard's. It's the lack of pretentiousness and simple story-telling which makes this such a pleasure to listen to.
i bought this CD 10 years ago if I well remember. My favorite version. I was used to offer the disc to all my friends Schubert's lovers...
amazing version
I played first viola for this last summer, with Prégardien singing. What an amazing experience that was!!!
In this music there floats a kind of mist suitable for dreams and gentle drifts. A climate of rediscovered peace that we sometimes feel without knowing exactly why during certain summer nights! these artists build a discourse of interiority, of breathing, which knows how to make room for silence 💋❤
I did NOT think I would like this, but it has a strangely intriguing quality... wonderfully arranged! And such good material for my thesis :)
Великолепно!Изумительно!💐💖
Да, Шуберт замечательный композитор ❤

참 좋은데 유감스럽게도
몇 곡이 빠져있네요...
Warum unvollständig? Sehr schade…
