I think William's children have the freedom and tactile, warm parents that Charles would've liked to have. Louis is part Charles and part the fulfillment of what he hoped for in his own childhood, because he's so happy, exuberant, and natural.
interesting to watch is the old videos of Charles as a young boy. These can be watched on UA-cam. It gives a person a better understanding of Charles. I’ve been a fan of Charles that goes way back. I’m only 3 years younger than him. Am happy to have witnessed Charles being crowned as well as Camilla as I’ve always like her also. Now I hope to see William & Cathrine crowned.
I get emotional knowing that Princess Diana would have loved to have seen her grandchildren so much. It brings tears to my eyes. However, I believe Grandma Diana is watching from heaven.

I don't think you have your news up-to-date on that title that you say Princess Charlotte will receive when she gets married. Yes, Charles was going to keep that title for Charlotte, but he was persuaded (and rightly so) that Prince Phillip had promised the Duke of Edinburgh title to Edward and that is what should happen. That then made Sophie the Duchess of Edinburgh.

But Edward only has the title for his lifetime, it will not be passed to his son James. Maybe they are thinking that Charlotte will get the title when Edward dies, which could be long after her marriage.

So long as Charles is alive, it's not likely that Charles would be used as a near-relative's first name. One exception is The Queen Mother and ER II shared the same first name. However, in some families, naming a first-born daughter after her mother is not so uncommon. Then, too, Victoria Regina insisted that "Albert" be used in her descendants' names.

Either daughter or son of current Duke of Edinburgh should carry on the title. Only working royals need title. So duke of Sussex title can be removed from the current one and given to children of williams if needed

How Charlotte become the Duchess of Edinburgh when Sophie is already the Duchess of Edinburg
The Duke title only last for Edwards life. Then that title goes back to the crown. Then Charlotte will get the title after Edward dies & she is married. From my understanding.
To be a Duchess you have to marry a Duke .So unless Charlotte marries the Duke she will never be Duchess.
That is genuine love for his grandkids. Definitely King Charles is the only one that can control Prince Louis. ❤

Glaube nicht das Charles eins der kinder bevorzugt. Mit dem alter sah man die anderen kinder nicht bei öffentlichen auftritten. Es gab ausser troping the colour keine. Louis hat alles miterleben können mit 4 jahren als jüngster wollte der auch nicht daheim bleiben ganz logidch. Ich fand es toll zu sehen wie alle zusammenhuelten. Auch die aktionen zeischen den kindern. Man merkte die sehen dich oft sonst wären sie nicht so vertraut gewesen. Es hätte such blöd ausgesehen wenn Charlotte oder george im jetzigen alter in der Öffentlichkeit auf seinen schoss gesessen wären. War sicher der fall als sie klein waren nur sah nan es halt nicht
