We moved in to this house. Took off the traverse rod for painting. Can’t figure out how to make the pulley system work again. Can we Facetime you? Can you please help us? You are very good at explaining.
Question: I have a single traverse rod and would like to add shears behind it. Can I sping loaded rod to hold the sheers? So that they will not interfere with the actions of the traverse.
Yes, there are two style sheer rods, one is longer on the ends (outer) and one short (inner). So one is closer to the wall. The short one will fit behind this rod if you do not have a double traverse rod.
Short and to the point. Very helpful-thank you for putting this out.
I only had a vague idea what a traverse rod was but it sounded like what I was looking for. I'm thankful you decided to make this informative video.
Thank you that was very helpful. I have my grandmother's custom made curtains and I was confused on the rod. 😊

I don't know if that will work - I use a double traverse rod

Thank you. This is great. Now how do I do sheer pinch pleats AND drapes?
double traverse rod
Wow! Way too complicated for me. I'll stick to my simple rod and curtains!
