Abel Rivas Jajajajajajajaja.
After seeing Maná live, it's funny to see Vallin so intense in his concentration as it belies how effortless he plays in concert. He's fun to watch as he makes the guitar just look fun to play.
Sergio has been with Mana since a long time . . I understand he's not an original founding member but, being in a successful band makes you a good player or a better player in the long run in my opinion, because you are motivated to keep improving,, have money to get the best guitars, anything you desire and you see it pays off. I'm not taking away his merit though, he is talented and skilled, good composition.
They're a famous "latino rock band." You would probably considered them a pop-band compared to American music. But if you have ever heard traditional Mexican music, it's really hard for a "rock band," to get a huge following like they have. Listen to "Clavado en un bar." if you're curious.
Sergio Vallin is such an amazing person. Humble, unpretentious and courteous. His guitar playing is out of this world. Stallone could learn a lot from him.
This is what makes Serio and his precursor to Mana, Cesar “El Vampiro” Lopez some of the most humble men in music… Their humility stands out more than their music playing ability
I would L O V E to go to this shop, but unfortunately I live in The Netherlands. Hopefully when I have enough time and money I can go play on some awesome guitars in this shop! Big thumbs up!
There's a volume control for each pickup and a master control for the tone. You can blend the the volume control's to get countless sound's, also one of the pickup's would be "out of phase" to get that T-Bone Walker sound (bridge or middle pickup).
I have to admit Mana is not my kind of music, but this guy is a monster guitar player. Really nice playing! Proud to say here in Mexico we have some good guitar players.
I suppose this guitar´s sound is nice, but I would like to listen its dry sound, because they plugged it and they processed the sound adding some effects like rev, maybe compressor and equalization.
Oh no you're the best. Oh no you're the best. Oh thank you. Oh no thank you. Oh no you're the best. No I love you more. I love you more. Oh no I really love you more. No I really love you more. By the way did I tell you that you're the best. Thank you
You know how you are always hearing about Gibson hand wound PAFs, etc... Well, no Gibson PAFs were hand wound. Gibson used auto winders starting in 1950. The reason for the inconsistencies was because they only had mechanical counters back then and weren't very accurate at counting the winds perfectly. So this guitar is one of the last that was actually produced with hand wound pickups from Gibson. Excluding any special orders, if any, that might have been produced.
It's starting to be really annoying , I'm here for guitars not who's his "buddy". just let the man play the darn guitar , we're all here for that and not Norm sucking up to every human that walked into that store .
Humble man and great player.
