I've set everything to fast. I don't think it's slow. It's just how z50 af behaves, even with the kit lenses. Maybe full frame native z lenses may perform better but I've never used one.

So viltrox released a firmware update for the z mount lenses. Did this lens get updated? Apparently the update had focus improvements.
