    QUICK NOTE. ALWAYS CONNECT THE POSITIVE FIRST AND REMOVE THE POSITIVE WHEN JUMPED...I HOPE IT WORK'S..✌🏾

    Make sure your vehicle is in gear. Turn the key to on shift the gears out and back into P park. You would be surprised how that works. Sometimes it just misses the in gear Park gear. If not compared in gear it won’t start. the directions. Don’t toss them to the side. Some want you to plug into the wall outlet first then plug into the jump starter to charge it. Another is clamp the cables to the battery first then plug into the jump starter. Batteries don’t last forever. Change them around every four years.

    Worked most of the time until I had a really dead car battery. The product lacked enough voltage or amps to start my car.

    I used the Type S the other day when i mistakenly left my van on overnight to crack the windows open. Worked right away. Really impressed. I went to get the Noco GBX45 but it is 3x the cost of the Type S Costco. I am wondering why the huge price difference and if it is justified. I just need it for emergencies if my passenger car battery dies. I do appreciate quality and will pay a premium if something is worth it but i don't know what the huge difference is between the NOCO and TYPE S

      I hope you went with NOCO, its worth the extra cost, its a must for cold areas and suv/truck batteries.

    I have 2, both have issue with the car charging cable (it comes with), goes into protect mode and will reset/not work. Spent some time researching it and no go, back to Costco it goes, appears to be junk, at least these 2 are.

      Thanks for the comment! I've had mine for a little bit over a year now. I should double check to make sure mine is still working ok. I know Costco has a different version in stock now. I will have to take a look at it. Regardless a jump starter has been a must have for me.

      @@thetechmost I agree with you, but maybe peoples should test it out before they "count on it" to work when they need it. That was not directed to you, just a heads up with anything that could be life or death situation gear.

    If your in the cold areas do not depend on this, use noco always, this is for warm areas and smaller battery capacities.

      Thank you for your comment. I'm from Chicago and it gets pretty cold here. I've had the type S for a bit over a year now and considering a replacement because I do think it's a great tool. Both my wife and I have them in our cars. I've heard the Noco brand pop up a few times now and I think I'm going to consider it for my new replacement.

    The biggest complaint I have against it is the ridiculously small case it comes in. One has to meticulously place the different items into the case in a certain order. Otherwise, it all won't fit inside. Then, even if you manage to do it so you can zipper close the case, there is too much strain on the zipper which may lead to premature failure of the case. My last concern is longevity. It is a lithium based battery and lithium typically does not do well in high temperatures. How the hot interior of a car in Florida will affect longevity remains to be seen.

      Those are some great points. I totally agree on the size of the case. Its a bit too small for the items to fit inside comfortably.

      The case is another example of how the manufacturer cut corners on this unit.

    Isn't positive first then neg.

    • @drah9955

      Yes … 1). Red/Positive first
      2). Black/Negative second
      Reverse when removing, Black/Negative … Red/Positive

    WARNING ⚠️
    This is a VERY basic, cheep, low quality battery booster. You would be far better spending a few dollars more and getting a reliable unit from an auto parts store or the likes of Amazon. After all, this is something you will be depending on in an emergency.

      Thank you for the suggestion. I always keep a look out for newer better products. When this one is done working I will definitely look for a better one because this tool has been a must have for me.

    I have regular outlet plug at home. I do not have a laptop charger. Does it comes with a power cord to charge it in a regular outlet plug?

    • @thetechmost
      @thetechmost  Рік тому

      Mine did not come with a power cord to charge to the outlet but it does come with a usb cord that is standard. It would fit most power bricks that you would have for things like a phone or wireless speaker. It just take a little longer to charge which is why I use my laptop charger. I hope this helps.

    How long did you charge it for after starting the car and does it matter if you discharge the positive or the negative first? Thanks!

    • @actuallyked3472
      @actuallyked3472 5 місяців тому +3

      I have one. Every jump takes about 5% of the battery.. not bad
      Just make sure it’s charged. If left in the car for too long with no use, it will drain battery
