Amen to this! I found my best friend, soul mate, & partner all wrapped into one. We have a 19 year age difference and not once did he ever tell me it was an issue or concern but like the rest of these comments, it's all about the love and connection one has with their partner. There’s a women I’m talking to. She’s 36 I’m 23. I’ve known her thru my best friend I work with for only about a year. But I’m so comfortable around her, I can talk to her about anything and everything. She was my first kiss that literally happened 2 months ago. And she was the one that asked me if I’ve ever had my first kiss. She’s an amazing women. Very attractive, and has her shit together. It didn’t go good at all! She didn’t talk to me for nearly 2 weeks. We are just now back to talking as friends and have let her know it took me too long to realize our friendship meant more than for me to keep trying and eventually push her so far away we aren’t friends anymore. I love it when men hold a door open for me, carry something heavy, or protect me in some way - just plain act like a man. Too often, young women these days get insulted if a man makes even the smallest masculine gesture. So true! I’m 43 & for many years there’s been significant attraction between myself and various younger men. The main issue I’ve run into with the few that I’ve dated is that it can be difficult to relate to the level of life experiences that I’ve had and sometimes that can create a barrier. I know there are younger men who are grown enough mentally and emotionally that it wouldn’t be an issue and remain open to the possibilities without restricting myself with various age differences ❤

When I first met him I was very concerned that the age might be a problem at some point, however, as of today our age has never been a problem. I have six children from a previous marriage that my husband has always consider them all his very own. He is an incredibly amazing man. He was 26 years old when I met him and I was 38 with six children. Age really is just a number.

I first figured out I wanted an older partner when I was a freshman and sophomore in high school, 10 years ago. I was 15 at the time and a teacher of mine was 23 or so. That age gap was huge, too huge for me but it showed me how secure she was and how comfortable I could feel around her, we connected almost immediately as friends not just as student and teacher. Not to mention she's good looking, I'll remember her as someone I looked up to, especially while dealing with struggles both of those years. Unfortunately we of course had to cut ties once I graduated but those memories will always be with me.

Believe it or not, not every older woman has more life experience than a younger man. I may not know everything that I want, but I know certain things that I don't want, and I definitely don't want a man who won't respect me for who I am.

I love your thinking but i recently rejected a 39 yr old man because as i am in my early 50’s i am concerned that even though he is smitten with me now, later on when he craves to have his own children, i wont be able to give him that. Heartbreak down the road. I cant get past that thinking. I have my adult kids. I have satisfied that need but when his mid life crisis hits, he will grow to despise me when he misses out on that wonderful part of life

You say men get tired of having the carry the relationship with younger women. As an older woman, well even as a younger one, I've almost always felt I had to carry the conversations with most men. That's one of the many reasons I've pretty much given up on men. The vast majority have difficulty leading. I'm a dominant women, but I'd much rather the man lead. But, if he doesn't, I will. That just ruins for me. I want a secure, masculine man. So hard to find.
I'm open to younger men because they're the ones that hit on me, but most, even those over 40 still have a lot of growing up to do. Sadly.

This really did help. Sometimes when I’m in public, I observe people when sitting somewhere and looking around. I’ve noticed that most masculine macho guys are with older women. Not just average slim men, but a very much of a manly man with an older woman.

I often feel that they are more emancipated, more fun, more open-minded and more alive than men older than me. I also asked some of them why they like dating older woman and they pretty much said the same things as you Matt😊😉And ladies, take it from me, dating a younger guy is the best anti-aging treatment!!!😀🥰

I think you are absolutely right. I am an older woman and I find that many younger men are attracted to me for those reasons. I can also look back to when I was young and I wouldn't talk, I was shy and uptight and really I know I am a lot more fun to be with now than I was then.

I recently went out on a first date with a professional rugby player who is 14 years younger, I look a lot younger than my actual age 😂 Unfortunately he had to travel back to his country the very next day but we continue to talk all the time. When I found out his age I tried pushing him away and he called me out on it and told me that the age gap didn’t make a difference to him bc he didn’t remember the last time he had connected with anyone like we did. So what you say about having that connection overriding age difference is so spot on. In many ways I have found him to be so much more mature than men who are older than me and I love that he surprises me in so many ways.
I really appreciate videos like this bc not long ago I watched a “well known relationship expert” do a video on this same subject matter and he dissuaded a younger man from dating an older woman, completely dismissing the fact that they had a true connection and brushed it off as “it’s just not a good idea/goes against nature” simply bc the woman was older. So thank you for bringing attention to this topic and treating it with such respect! 🙌
