I use soy and teriyaki sauce l, a little flour with water and seasoning. I never knew about cutting away from the grain. Thank you for that. I am going to try your way
Literally can’t wait to make this!!! One thing to note when it comes to cornstarch slurry especially - it will not thicken unless boiled. So be sure to bring any slurry to a boil ☺️
This is my man’s favorite Chinese dish. I made your recipe and my man said it was better than the Chinese restaurant. He couldn’t get enough. Thank you!
Perfect timing with this video, I was just wondering what I was going to do with all the peppers I've got growing in my garden. And they're so good, barely comparable to those we can buy at the store here in the Netherlands. I also was never a fan of the green ones as they're really not nice from the store and those I've got growing, I could almost eat them raw 😅 but cooked they're unbeatable 😁
Leon’s in Pittsburgh, Warrington Ave, I just had pepper steak. I was definitely looking for a great recipe, good look for this. Definitely trying this tonight
This pepper steak looks amazing!! I'd like to see him cook an American version of pepper steak. Mashed potatoes are a good change-up too. I'd love to see him make stuffed cabbage. would be
If you really want to save time and $just buy a pack of dynasty brand beef and broccoli seasoning packet I use it for my base then add soy sauce, oyster sauce and then garlic and ginger. You guys have really gotten me into using these pastes I love them! And will use next time I make it.
I remember as a child when I 1st heard my Dad say he was making pepper steak, I thought that meant black pepper. 😊 I may make this one day. Just not a fan of green peppers, easy enough to substitute. 🥘♥️
My peppers are back to producing again now that the temperature has come down (a little). This would be a great recipe to use them. Thank you; I will add it to the list! I'd love to see your take on Panang curry. Preferably with options to make it less spicy for those of us who are wimps! I've made it before and it comes together quite quickly, especially if you make a batch of the paste in advance and freeze it. Mine wasn't that great though. Another suggestion is quick taco recipes.
Matt, can we get a stuffed bell pepper video? Make it a challenge for the guys too. See who can come up with the most creative, flavorful stuffed pepper for the title belt lol.
AP = All Purpose. Mostly is applied to flours! But, it can be applied to a frying pan, like in the one he advertises under (below ) the video description!
AP in this context is All Purpose Seasoning. Could be a lot of things but generally salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika. To be “used to season anything “ (don’t take that literally). You can find AP seasoning in the stores around here but most are way too salty so you can’t really use much without over salting your dish. Mr. Make It Happen sells his own blend which has a lot less salt so you can really season your dish without over salting. Not sure if he ships to the UK so you may have to mix up your own. Hope this helps. Cheers from the US.
You don’t need to clean the steak before cooking it it’s mostly sterile in the packaging and getting it wet will make it hard to get a good sear on the outside of the steak
@MrMakeItHappen just make two plates chief, or don't. Better suggestion don't get so sensitive and defensive over NOTHING; it's very bad for your channel. By your logic why do you care about my opinion enough to react, when it has no impact on your life?!? Also by your logic, a lot of people could just disregard your videos, and/or stay out of the comments (reducing engagement) since... "it has no impact on our lives", but that's literally the opposite of your business model, isn't it?!? That's the literal definition of not making sense.

Let’s see a ham & beans recipe for fall! 😉
What are the three things he sprinkled at the end? Chives, sesame seeds and what is the green one?

Looks delicious! Making tuhday!
Love this
Looks good, but you forgot the baking soda in the marinade. It's a must for that soft, silky steak.
Thanks.
Coconut aminos is a great substitute for soy sauce!! Of course as long as your not allergic to coconut!!
You should put Jamaican green seasoning in the marinate
Yum-my 😋🤤🐞 Enjoy
Love pepper steak
West African jolloff rice

Loco Moco please and thank you.
Can you do curry chicken
Making this tonight let’s see how I do. Lol
What pan are you using?
Thanks. Quick recipe. Yes. Beef just took a sizable hit in price increase. Will be staying away from it unless it's on sale.
Did you brown the steak on both sides or just the one?
Looks amazing!!! UK here, what’s AP? Presumably ground pepper?

@@anamakda4879 that’s what I thought! But he said it when picking up a small tub that looked like a pepper tub?
Thanks for your message ✌️

Can you just use chopped ginger and chopped garlic?
Im new to cooking, young lady, do you clean steak before you cook it? If so how do you clean it?
You don’t need to clean the steak before cooking it it’s mostly sterile in the packaging and getting it wet will make it hard to get a good sear on the outside of the steak
When the steak is exposed to high heat in the pan any germs are killed
😋😋😋
Could you make some thai takeout recipes? 😊 like coconut thai curry or drunken noodles
got pad Thai dropping soon!
@@MrMakeItHappen yay!! 😀
😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
I see you don't use your stove top, what are you using to prepare this dish.
🤤
Oven baked beef brisket.
🤎
do those homemade hamburger helpers

Joie de Vivre
Pour that juice over the rice
Why do so many of the food-related channels on YT always have two grown men eating out of the same plate?!?🤢
Better question.. why do you care what other people eat out of that has absolutely no impact on you or your life

@@Charger-ob8ylare you eating it? No tf you aren’t weirdo
@celestealonzo8876 I'm done commenting; it goes against the point I was just making and it has "no impact on my life".
At home in 30 minutes….
“Pop in the fridge for 2-24 hours”😂😂😂🤌🏽
do you do promo? @mr.makeithappen
