Jeremy, I can’t believe I just discovered your channel. You are so underrated, and you and Jang are the best reviewers I’ve ever seen!! On a side note, after waiting almost three years for this set, it’s arriving TODAY! I really can’t believe it 😊
I just got this set this past weekend. I'm 21 hours into it, and still not finished yet. I'm loving every minute of this build and taking my time with it. Videos and photos can't do justice as to how amazing and intricate this set really is until you have it right in front of you. The size of it is just..wow. like I said, a video doesn't do it justice. I'm still in awe looking at mine at how much time, and love went into the design of this amazing set. Keep up the great work Lego, and keep blowing our minds with amazing stuff like this. Awesome video as well.
You should have way way WAY more subs, this was one of the best LEGO reviews I have ever seen and it was wholesome. I subbed with both of my accounts. keep up the great work!
Crazy hearing your story about meeting the late great Kenny Baker, I lived in Preston as well back in the early 2000's, when I was at UCLAN. Met Kenny in town a few times, usually in the back of Woolies looking at Kitchen ware lol, he was always kind and friendly, happy to chat to me about Star Wars & Time Bandits.
Lego currently makes models for the snowflakes. I've read that now you need to exert 40% less effort to detach the parts. Hence everything is falling apart when you point a finger on it. Old baseplates was not possible to detach by hand, with the newer sets there is no such problem.
I've always been a Star Wars fanboy for as long as I can remember. (SCREW YOU TREKKIES!) And have been a Lego fan for some time since they've started making the really big sets selling for a hundred dollars or more thinking "Cool. They've finally started making Legos for adults." I've got the 2011 Mellenium Falcon, the Ghostbusters firehouse, and both Batmobiles, the Tumbler and the Tim Burton models. But when I saw this giant of model selling for $800 for the first time two years ago I thought, "DAMN! Nothing would stop me from getting this if I was serious enough to blow 800 bucks on any Lego model." That was untill this year. I saved up a bunch of money for my summer vacation plans only to end up getting my plans pooched because of the coronavirus outbreak causing me to cancel everything. But I still had all that money saved up and remembered the $800 Lego Falcon and decided if I'm gong to stay home this year, what the hell? As luck would have it, I managed to find one on Amazon selling at regular price (all other places were selling the same model for well over a thousand) sealed and brand new straight from the Lego factory itself and (with the voice in my head screaming "BUY IT NOW, ASSHOLE!!") I brought it! Now it's just been delivered and it sitting in my house right now. And it's going to take a lot longer for me to build it in the next two weeks of free time that I got. That's it. Aloha and may the force be with you. 😁😁😁😁😁
Well, for some who own the UCS Red Five X-Wing Starfighter, the set includes an R2-D2 figure. Then again, I don't know who would buy every single UCS set...
Hmm... I'm so conflicted with this set. For one thing, it's hard to get as it's always sold out. The other thing is that it's such a huge room hog! Once it's built, you really need to decide where you're going to put it and if you want to lose that much space in your place. Also the fact that it's fragile and shouldn't be moved around all that much not to mention the weight of it. I like it and it's a nice set but the cost, immobility and fragility of it and the shear need for room to display it kind of takes me out of wanting it.
Jeremy Herbert Yes, a few people I've talked to that have it say that once it's built they kind of don't know what to do with it or where to put it. I think I'll wait on this or may pass on it. Thank you for the great video!
I know I'm jumping ahead several years, but if you want a really nice collector's set, go for the 6k piece Hogwarts set from 2018. It's a lot easier to move around (thanks to the sturdier baseplates) and how it's designed really prevents pieces from falling off. Sure, it's microscale, but it's really, _really_ nice (and a lot cheaper, too!)
@@Woodenfan I ended up getting the Falcon. It sits in an alcove under the steps where it's out of the way. I also bought the Star Destroyer but I'm regretting that purchase. It's another room hog and I like the Millennium Falcon way better.
Baby Groot at 12:45!
That’s a big set. Great review!

And I thought the 400 dollar hogwarts castle or the 360 dollar castle parys put together were expensive. But this is 800 dollars
This is the best review for this set that I’ve seen!
It's a shame that for such an expensive set there are only two exclusive figures

The best review of this set I've ever seen and heard. Awsome review m8"

Best review of this set I have seen yet!
Imagine that someone accidentally drop this OMG 😲
I think that every time I have to move mine. 19 hours is a long, long time!
That would be 700 bucks in the trash
It would be like dropping an expensive vase. Son of a 🤬!
@@yetga5637 Not necessarily. You can still rebuild it
Child of Shrek you made a point
Also I just subbed! Keep up the good work👍
Sam, you are awesome. Thank you!

that will be an antique one day lol

It's an epic build. Enjoy every minute!
I meant I'd use it as a set piece in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
C3-PO but no R2-D2?
(Sad Human Noises)
Well, for some who own the UCS Red Five X-Wing Starfighter, the set includes an R2-D2 figure. Then again, I don't know who would buy every single UCS set...
you could build a medium sized build with the spare pieces
Any body else see groot by the washing mashine? 😂😂

Agree 100% - mine is still on the basement floor I'm embarrassed to say. Need to find a cool way to display it!

Mini figures at 15:30
Awesome Review! I'm gonna get me one of these this yr. :D
"You should keep away from children "
Me, a child: hey!
Wish I could afford it 😔 anyway one day there will be another when I have more money
Nice job bro
Amazing!!
I use the empty space inside to store the other radar dish. Smart, eh?
That's a fantastic idea - I'm going to do the same! Are you using the classic dish on your UCS?
I like to change it up now and then:)
Jeremy you should review the massive 42083 Bugatti Chiron set, it is MASSIVE and took me a while to build, with some help of my father.
Great content again your reviews and what you do is fantastic.
I want one . Mrs k will ..... me. Thank you for sharing. 👍
AFOL.
Mrs H and I had a lengthy period of negotiation before making this purchase!
I love how the coliseum has 9000 pieces and this has 7500 but is £200/$200 more
I'll buy this and make Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge out of Lego with it.
That would be super crazy cool!
I dropped my phone when he said 19 hours
Yes thats Fast!!! Mine took about 40 hours
Is your phone ok?
14:38 you placed a piece of the corridor the wrong way.
I can't unsee that...
I just ordered mine from StockX it better be legit!
Can someone tell me how baby Groot got in there?
Cool soko SRB
Did anyone else see that a mini Groot was inside?
I did!
Holy shit
Noice
That’s an expensive set
Crazy expensive and difficult to buy with LEGO's stock shortages but a fantastic experience. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Well what if a children got the set
"a children"?
"a children" lol
