That middle area of the falcon houses the original escape pod as seen in Solo. There is also another escape pod in the opposite to the entrance to the ship. Hope this helped Evan :)))

Just so you know that middle part with the whole is supposed to hold I think it was like a pod or something like an escape pod. It’s in the solo movie which was horrible.
