What a hypocrite this interviewer is, he is so sweet to him while asking questions and agreeing to all his answers and while he was interviewing kangana he was so annoying and irritating.
Komal Uma pathak seriously... so unprofessional and disrespectful... even if he didn’t agree with her on issues there was no reason for him to behave the way he did. He wouldn’t dare speak to these guys that way, asking them to justify their opinions and attacking them on everything.

There he was interrupting Kangna again n again and here he is so keen in listening to the crap especially at the end of the video where he shook his said saying" right" after the infamous statement made by this so called privileged actor.

I have watched both the interviews and it disgusts me even more that Mr Mayank Shekhar perpetually criticised Kangana for calling out Ranbir, however he was totally comfortable with Ranbir's utter nonsense of "I have a luxurious life so I dont want to comment". After watching kangana iv i Just searched back to this ivs of him which kangana mentioned there and after listening to this i can say that kangana is very much right here. He literally said " i live in luxurious life, i have everything thats why i dont have to do any lena dena with the country politics" like really? He is authentic about the reality he lives in..he is also honest about his political view and doesn't make a statement just to please the audience. I first read few comments and then thought oh everybody is saying negative about him and this gave me the thought that ohk he must have spoken something very mean so I started watching the whole interview I watched it completed it but didn't find any mean thing .. and the end part which many are talking about I found that as being honest and not mean ..

I don’t think he sounded arrogant. I think he was acknowledging that he is privileged, and was very understanding of the fact that others are not as privileged as him. It sounds like he would be uncomfortable speaking about issues that he doesn’t completely understand (I get the vibe that he would feel like a hypocrite). He’s basically trying to say that he doesn’t want to pretend to be more woke than he actually is (he could have articulated it better though- I understand how the delivery could be hurtful to some people). As a rich actor who is sitting there in his expensive jeans and shoes, he doesn’t want to simply talk about politics and act like he’s making a difference, you know? It’s easy for any actor or actress to sit in a comfortable studio in their expensive clothes, and talk about politics (although yes, Kangana has sacrificed a lot of her comfort and piece of mind over the years, to stick up for what she believes in). I’m not saying that advocacy is unimportant, but I think that his perspective is that a privileged person talking other people’s problems is not necessarily constructive- it can be just talk, which can be fake. And why does he need to comment on politics? Why does he need to bring negativity into his headspace? For all we know, he could have depression or anxiety and chooses to keep a distance from negativity for his own piece of mind. I think everyone has the right to surround themselves with positivity.
Also, in Kangana’s interview, you can tell that she believes in the democratic process. It sounds like Ranbir just doesn’t believe in the democratic process as a means for social justice (which I think a lot of people feel- there is a sense of disparity in India). I don’t think he is obliged to believe in the democratic process, particularly in a country where you can never tell which politicians are good and which politicians are corrupt.
