just watching this and realized that i want to redo my whole style and become a harajuku decora it's also a big bonus that buying the supplies are really cheap!
They'd probably recommend just going to second hand shop / thrift shops and michaels crafts / fabric stores and making your own. It's a lot about creativity and finding yourself and although some girls would just buy a full set of Hope Chest, Milk, Vivienne Westwood, etc. the majority of Harajuku, Decora, Ganguro or Gyaryu, and Fairy-Kei lifestylers make their own and alter fashions to their own taste. If you find yourself a scan or copy or the original Fresh Fruits book you'll notice how many of them, when asked what they're wearing, put down 'second-hand' or 'handmade'. I really suggest starting with some clothes that you don't normally wear or you're tired of, and finding ways to alter and layer them to a new outfit. :) For premade accessories Hot Topic, Forever 21, H&M (like you said), and even Walmart have some things to build an outfit around. (For ex. these really cute jelly backpacks at Walmart : www.walmart.com/ip/44580943?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227032945619&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=81857987328&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=112262868528&veh=sem )
Ok thank you for your answer =) I have a Fruits book and that's right, there is a lot of handmade clothes =D That's a shame I would be so bad at making my own clothes XD
I really liked this video (although the music was a little loud and sometimes made it hard to hear the conversation). It did turn out really 90s - I like it! Not like decora was in the 90s but like a really 90s-inspired decora.

Decora's my favourite style of Harajuku fashion but I've never tried wearing it! I'd love to have a decora makeover like this! :-)
Erisa wears the lavander lip so well. It's such a hard color to pull off so kudos to her!
Could you please do a video about how to dress like "Harajuku style" with basics shops everybody can find ( like H&M ).Great video, thank you ! またねー!

I would just like to mention putting craft glitter close to the eye is very dangerous. Cosmetic glitter is better.
