Brilliant analogy to life’s existence.
Just beautiful. Great inspiring message.
I have always been great admirer of
Khalil Gibran (rest his soul) , since
high school.
Thanks so much for sharing.
A powerful exploration of the human experience of fearing death.
These words are profoundly true. So many suffer from fear. What they need to do is let go and journey forward.
❤
I agree 💘
@@guitarsoundsaround I became a singer-songwriter at 60 and am five years into the scene. I have two UA-cam channels of music, and I will release more this year and next. Thanks and take care!
@@gwynnielsen5081 wow! That is fantastic! Good for you on your journey, I wish you nothing but success!
Fascinating how the fear can be a powerful force that can either imprison or liberate the human spirit.
When we face it, by understanding and embracing it, fear can actually become an opportunity for learning and growing spiritually. ❤
Makes sense. I have a fear of speaking in front of people.
And it’s a fortunate gift to receive❣️
Super, becoming the ocean
I wish I had this voice for the poetry we post. Great job!
Nice
What an inspiring poem!!
Love this poem. Becoming the ocean. Thanks.
Wow!....love this!
great video By the way, I have a box where I write down my fears on paper and put them in that box. I do it for God, and I go forward myself.🙂
Respect should ideally be rooted in love and understanding rather than fear. When respect is based on fear, it can create a negative and oppressive environment. Love, on the other hand, promotes empathy, compassion, and mutual understanding, which are essential for building healthy and harmonious relationships. By cultivating love and respect for one another, we can create a more inclusive and supportive society.
Hermoso...
Had not heard this one. Thank you!

I read this as a young man and now, aged, fully comprehend its meaning having become one with the ocean.
Thanks very much

Facing oneself, facing the reality of living in the present.
Was Khalil Gibran enlightened?
Kahlil Gibran was a very religious poet and philosopher who used symbolism as a style in his projects, which led many people to ask the same question as you. But it has never been confirmed whether he was enlightened or not.
No respect without fear
I am NOT agree with you. Respect should ideally be rooted in love and understanding rather than fear. When respect is based on fear, it can create a negative and oppressive environment. Fear not😊
Amazing poem! It seems the imagery in these are from generative AI. Pretty nonetheless, good prompts at least.

I don’t need to be critical was such a beautiful Poem but doesn’t the fear of becoming the ocean the same thing as fear because he says it’s not about fear of entering the ocean is the fear of become in the ocean which logic says it’s the same thing maybe it’s me who do not understand
He describes the anxiety of leaving our comfort zone and taking risks. To choose to move forward and face your fears
It is not about losing one’s identity ("fear of entering the ocean"); it is more about “becoming” part of something larger than life, divine, and beautiful("the fear of become the ocean").
This poem is all about believing in ourselves and overcoming fear. We have to dare “becoming the ocean.”
Is this from The Forerunner?
No, this is a poem by Khalil Gibran a Lebanese poet
@@WordsmithWisdom-ws9qy Khalil Gibran did write a book called the The Forerunner. I was wondering if this piece was that book or another book he wrote.
I really appreciate this kind of question that allows me to look for more information and question if what I thought was true. Actually this poem isn't by Gibran -- it's become attached to his name because it's similar to a lot of the poetry he did write, but its actual author appears to be "Osho," in whose book "Beyond Enlightenment" it can be found.
@@WordsmithWisdom-ws9qy Yeah, I went and did some research and found the same thing out. Thank you for your dedication.

So you should change this title to ... Osho's "Fear".

I came back to this thread. To share a fast thought.
I’m an old soul, and crave words on paper. 📝 while having a chaotic yesterday ~ my package makes it way to me 😂 I run for a coffee ☕️ to sit in this special moment, ritualistic in my own quirky way to cherish this moment …
… before opening my package. 📦 what do I find first ~ the receipt 🧾
A receipt written with the words ‘Sensual Love’ and beneath LoveSoak.
Something tells me I’m going to cry.
So before I dare open the book…he needs to know …
~ I NEED and WILL find a way, to somehow ~ get this author ✍🏻 to sign all 5 of them ~ in his own handwriting …
… 🥹💘💞❤️❤️
…. Encapsulated in thUS moment, time stops, I make it stop - I am feeling these words, and carefully, slowly, not rushing one sentence, nor word. I am on page 37 … “Turning denial into acceptance. Turning fear into love.”
…. Nothing matters but this moment, and everything else will have to simply wait. I’m reading 📖 onto page 38 …
My book turned out to be the most incredible, beautiful and heart churning book, I have ever, ever read in my entire life.
I laughed, I cried and I fell in love more than I dreamed I could - I felt every single sentence and took it all to heart. ❤️ 🔏
One of my goals: is to get it signed and a phrase tattooed ✍🏻💘
To show a glimpse of my support and love, I got 5
❤❤❤❤❤
You know what…I’ll loyally cherish this gift and fulfill every last sentence if I’m ever given the chance. 💘💞❤
Thank you for your incredible and generous love. 💗
I LOVE YOU❣️
