I have never watched big brother! I think it's a sick idea that misappropriates Orwell's scarily accurate depiction of state overreach for commercial 🐂💩 . Most people never even realise the origin of the name "Big Brother", nor the horrible surveillance state we live in - they just want to bitch & gossip about other people. They are voyeurs.

Yeah ive never read that book i find the language a bit difficult to take in but i know thats where big brother comes from. I mentioned in my recording yesterday of a video coming up that im on a reality tv thing atm coz im researching for a book im writing coz reality tv is just so bizarre to me for many reasons 😂 some of the housemates this year actually did talk about the book though!

@@ArtieCarden I went through a huge apocalyptic/ post-apocalyptic fiction obsession & read everything I could, when I was in my teens/ early 20s. Orwell is not an easy read! The film was pretty good - have you seen it? 💚
