I can’t believe my history teacher hid this information from me. I could have never known that Teddy Roosevelt fought an intelligent lizard and dueled a magical swordsmen. This really shows how censorship can really be harmful smh
To be fair i didn't know that humans overran big foot out of human civilization and are still plotting to take over the world.
@@ericnick4498 And I didn't know that an amorphous orange blob who is destined to save existence could amass such a dedicated fanbase!
Honestly we figured that no one would believe it so we stick to dull things like politics and the invention of TNT.
I had little-to-no knowledge about the world being restored after ending for the [---] time. This method involved what appears to be capsules or pods were humans were released.
Wait till you realise that teddy roosevelt is still alive and walks around today as chuck Norris
When Teddy roosevelt is so damn Alpha he hunted 682 and stood toe to toe with Abel. Also the fact this story is the prequel events to the 682 vs abel tale is even more badass.
@Kingly Crustacean: I disagree, "The Trust Buster" was what America needed!
@@troyjardine5850 we need him now again on big tech

Lord Blackwood is easily the most interesting man/slug in the world.
idk i’ve met some cool slugs
Idk Agent Lombardi is pretty cool.
Drink (REDACTED) responsibly my friends.
Cough Dr. Bright cough...
Arijan Knezevic Is Dr. Bright a man-slug?
I can't believe I didn't snap until now that Mr. Deeds from the butler bell SCP is Lord Blackwood's manservant.
I had to go to the scp article to confirm this as soon as i heard it :D
Sonuvabitch I got to go read shit
Shit man I didn't even think about it
Shrimp Bisque that....makes a lot of sense
Wait... So Happy Gilmore was Blackwood’s sneaky-sneaky butler?
"Are you aware you're a sea slug?"
'Are you insane? Truly, you must be. If your words have no tie into logic, then you have no need to speak with me. On with you.'
I rather thought that was his reincarnation.
do you know why he turned into a sea slug?
@@cibo889, I've heard from a Wanderer Lord Blackwood incurred the wrath of some unpleasant entity
@@alilweeb7684 there's a bit from an interview with Deeds where Deeds mentions coming into a room where Blackwood was sitting on a chair, and Deeds says that he could've sworn that he saw a sea slug sitting where Lord Blackwood sat, before he looked again and saw Blackwood. It's implied that this is the effect of another SCP (sorry can't remember the number) which turns dreams into reality, so it's possible that Deeds turned Blackwood into a slug by accident

TIL: Pitchblende was an old-timey name for uranite, which has a high composition of uranium.
They made a nuke gun...
And Able made a nuke
Oh, freaking badass.
Thank you. I was just about to search it.
Dude, Blackwood had a disintegration rifle. If he hadn't been fighting the offspring of Deadpool and the Indominus Rex, they'd been home after the first day!
You can buy Pitchblende, also known as Pechblende in german, in the ore mountains (Erzgebirge)
Unless you inhale the pulver, lick it or otherwise get it IN your body it is pretty harmless
Tarasque: So you are coming towards me?
Abel: I can't beat the shit out of you without coming closer
Now I can't stop thinking about Cain as Giorno.
Tarasque: *stomps but gets stomps himself*
Cain: I tried to warn you, this power isn't really something I have control over, but furthur more it's Futile for me repeat myself, it's simply futile, I hate it because its futile, absolutely futile.
WRYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA
I would like to think the Tarasque is hard-to-destroy-reptile
Blackwood's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendancy
For those who wondered like myself:
The special gun that the Russian uses is pitchblende, an archaic term for Uraninite, a substance made of UO2 and sometimes U3O8. Oxidized uranium, basically. It’s radioactive and nowhere near as good at making power or bombs as other forms of uranium, but it’s enough for humanity’s first ever attempt at nuclear weaponry back in the ripe old time of 1883.
This is why Blackwood and Roosevelt were suffering from “pitchblende fever”, and why that gun is so damn powerful.
It's basically a tactical nuke gun.
So the town was destroyed by a nuclear explosion!
So you're telling me Abel created a diy ghetto atom bomb
You don't need pure enriched uranium at critical mass if you can generate enough fast neutron to split the majority of that chunk of uranium oxides. However the only way we know how to generate that much fast neutron currently is with another nuclear bomb. So that's the anomalous part.
@@minhducnguyen9276 Abel wouldn't let 'natural laws' get in the way of winning so long as it wasn't dishonorable to /ignore/ those otherwise-unneeded laws, I suspect. Or he just 'Badassed' his way to critical mass by sheer force of will. And rage. And whatever... @.o
'The hole from the artillery seemingly stitching itself up.'
*wait a second, is this 682*
il IL yes it is
Correct
yes, and the "God Man" is Able. then there's a brief cameo by Mr. Deeds. And of course we know what the Society for the Security, Protection and Containment of anomalous objects and phantasmagoria is. :) the British branch of the SCP foundation.
I only figured that out just before the trap

Lord Blackwood reminds me of Sir Hammerlock. Hunter, scholar, gentleman.
Honestly I imagine him looking like Hammerlock. Just with both arms and legs.

pitchblend is uranium ore. That's a davy crockett, rifle sized.
_This will be the end of wakanda._
@Patrick Ancona At the very least, Able is already vaguely Middle-Eastern, so there's that. I'd be more worried about them giving it to Guillermo Del Toro and letting him give everyone nuclear steampunk guns, or making too much of a Chuck Norris-style meme out of Roosevelt.
Is it 682 or a D&D Terrasque?
Lord Blackwood was the original Indiana Jones before Harrison Ford came along:
And he'll be the final Indiana Jones before the universe ends.

Toy 884 Me too, and that was their first matchup? I didn’t expect Abel to come to the fight. Round 2 must’ve been 100 years in the making
When I heard it regens I instantly thought 682
Ik, I was like, Damn, Blackwood. You kickin ass from Gods to Indestructible critters. Imagine my surprise when they introduce a stone coffin and the oh shit moment. Round 1
Same, somehow it didn't hit me until it was incinerated to ash.

Oh dang, 682 vs. Able, with NUKES.
That was an adventure, alright. Holy shit.
I've seen more shit like a nonexistent void killing people and more and more fucked up shit.
They got me at Regenerating and also looks like a dragon.
@Wasi.G It was caught eating farmers, called them disgusting, keeps on regenerating, and is hard to kill. That sounds like 682 to me.
I'd like to think that the keys for Able's coffin reside in the stomach of 682 after hearing this tale. Or they got nuked.
@@Fickji that's the beauty of scp universe if you wanna believe that then that's your canon
Why does Lord Blackwood's adventures sound like a novels by H. G. Wells!
Erm... it's been written that way?
Blackwood IS H. G. Wells!
I agree, I was just saying I wish these stories were published as novels, Blackwood's and other SCP tales.
@@ladykoiwolfe they would sell like hell if they made novels. I'd buy all of them.
More like a Rober E Howard story (or Arthur Deleth)
Now I'm curious how he became a slug and how he ended up in our dimension.
Well, now I'm envisioning a parallel reality where people are simply just sea slugs.
Reality warper perhaps?
@@andor888 I'm envisioning one where people genetically modified themselves with 682's DNA.

Possibly the oldest written encounter with both The Hard to Destroy Reptile and Cain as well as an intro to old tiny SCP Foundation. What a story. This man is Crocodile Hunter of the SCP Universe
Wait...isn’t that Able??
It’s Abel
Cain is the metal boii
please do more blackwood stories they are very interesting to listen to while im working
You also work while listing to this!
The chores are so easy while I listen to this.
So I know it is an SCP Tale but is that how the keys were lost to Abel’s coffin. Maybe SCP 049 has them .
At first I was like "oh cool, a story about DnD monster", then, right about the middle of the story I thought "oh shit, I forgot that Tarasque in DnD is literally unkillable it regener... WAIT IS THIS 682??"
Let this be a reminder:
1. Dont wake Able...he is very grumpy.
2. Next time 682 runs amok in France, leave him be...
On going to France for vacation. Hope he awakes.
1. I'd say if your going to free Able stand to the side of the coffin and stay out of his eyeshot at all times.
2. In case of Tarrasque/SCP-682 open coffin and proceed to run as far away as humanly possible.
Unlock and run, don't open it, just run.
Davis next time 682 runs in france, get 053 or 999. They'll fix it.
Nobody:
Able: Tactical Nuke Incoming
The french phrase translates to "You make me sick"
doraffe thank you
Yep totally what 682 would say :D
I'd know Abel from a mile away (or preferably a greater distance )but I wasn't absolutely sure it was 682, until now. Thank you
Disgusting.
And they were repugnant
I like how they brought Marshall, Carter, and Darke into this.
And also how Teddy Roosevelt got into a sword fight with SCP-076
And they fired a Nuke gun at SCP-682
And Lord Blackwood is now banned from the entire country of France.
We know more about black woods adventures than how he actually turned into a snail
Well you see, this one time at band camp....
No sir, you are mistaken. His Lordship is human, it is you that is some bizarre ape creature.
The SCP Foundation offered Theodore Roosevelt a position. They didn't fit his standards of manliness.
He's too big of an badass to sit still and research shit.
This is a truth that cannot be contested
They where too weak to be a part of his rough riders.

On the one hand, I doubt it because the Slayer does not have the actual ability to manifest weapons out of thin air, he just has the tech to fake it, and he has to have physical weapons and ammunition which he can run out of.
On the other hand, the fact that the slayer can't do that is an oversight on the developers, and realities part, as Doom-guy should have said abilities

unfortunately he is snail
To be fair, there IS some evidence that he's telling the truth - they found a vault filled with unknown fauna and artifacts, and anomalous entities all say he's telling the truth. The Foundation is apparently worried that he's evidence that there was a reality restructuring event at some point.

It took a while for it to sink in, but yeah, I reckon you're right.
When Blackwood the thing said "you're disgusting" in French, a lightbulb lit up in my head. Took me that long.
The moment the Tarasque bit off the head of thar Russian scientist and started regenerating, that's when I figured it out.

How did Abel materialize bombs when he's only capable of materializing bladed weapons?!
Probably because he was holding the pitchblende (uranium)
You know it totally didn't register that he wasn't always a slug, so last vid about him i imagined the entire time him as a slug treaking through the alternate dimension
I like how this story has Teddy Roosevelt in it and in such a fitting role.
The more I hear of the Lord the more I want a TV show or even better a movie about him.
With stories like these, a part of me wishes Lord Blackwood was the main character of the foundation universe and that all stories were about him and his colleagues facing the strange creatures from the articles.
