My name is April Lauren, I share bits of my story here on UA-cam, I'm a RYT 200 Yoga Instructor with a background in public relations and communications and my husband is in the Army. Summer of 2020 my weight reached 352.8, miserable and full of fear, I knew I had to change. I couldn't keep crash dieting and failing... cycling. I took a different approach. I decided to figure out what my body needed, what I needed and to take full responsibility for weight and my progress... And thus my weight loss journey began. With patience, kindness and determination, I began. I am halfway to my weight loss goal of losing 200 lbs and have found a passion for fitness and running. And, I'm training for my first half marathon. I look forward to sharing my progress, bits of my story and our adventures. Thank you for encouraging me.

April, I lived in Hawaii for three years. I worked at Makalapa clinic on Pearl Harbor as afternoon charge nurse ( I was civil service not military) and everyone that I met was very pleasant and helpful. You will fall in love with the island and its people. 💕💕💕

Ugh! I hate moving. I sympathsize with you having to do all that drudge work. I pray nothing breaks in the move to Hawaii. I clicked on Show More and didn't see a link for the ceiling fan duster. I will pray that the dogs make it okay with no problems!! They are family, too, and you love them so much. Most of all I pray for God's protection around you and your husband and the pups.

I’ve been to Hawaii several times. I had a daughter, son-in-law-law and grandson who lived there. Wonderful people, but I will never go again. I cancelled my last trip because the state gave me such a hassle wanting to quarantine my Service Dog.
I am sure you already know, but if not, there are certain requirements to bring dogs to Hawaii. There used to be a 6 month quarantine, not sure if they do that any more. Your military friends probably have lots of info on that.
All the frustrating changes and the work you have to go through will be worth it. Hawaii is a special place, no matter which island you live on. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to visit them all. The people are amazing, life is slower and the weather is amazing! If I were to move anywhere, it would be Hawaii. I cannot wait to see your first video when you arrive! Oh, I hope you like Spam! Lol! As in the canned variety. 😉 💜

You will make a home anywhere you go. As a military brat, I remember moving every 3 years. We had to rehome our pets. Our flights (to Japan) were too long. I wished my father got stationed in Hawaii. Maybe one of these days I’ll get to visit there.

I know that the stress from moving is a huge trigger for you. I just wanted to remind you that you are not the same April that made those stressful moves before. You have completely changed your life. Even if you did succumb to the stress and fall back on coping mechanisms that aren’t in your best interest I just want to remind you that you have the knowledge and tools to get back on track. I know we are a couple months behind real life but wanted to remind you of how strong you are.
She’s had the knowledge and tools for years. She talks the talk for views….. but that’s it.
I'm going to need to get one of those long dusters, I have high ceilings and I was using a swifter for ceiling fans, but it's too short! Military life can be difficult with the moves, but it won't always be like this. Enjoy Hawaii and your time there, take advantage of the islands and before you know it, you'll be back in the states.

Things I would love to see in Hawaii. Statutable living! Local farmer markets. How you can take something old and make it into something new. Limit the Amazon shopping and just focus on making memories chica.

Lol girl my house is a mess! I haven’t been to to gym since last week. Phauxe is on this let build a gym in the garage and do p90x. I barely could do yoga through laughing so much the other day. I feel like I’m in over my head. Plus convention season is just starting! 😂

I find that when I move I have to Map out where I'm going to walk/run. Did u get a chance to do that? Do u think it will take you a while to start to run in a new environment? You seem like a good self starter so i probably know the answer lol

His job in the Army is a little different than most. He still has the same command as before, which will be an interesting adventure of its own I am sure, haha. ❤
@@AprilLauren just be careful who he is around out there! My ex was airforce they helped him break a restraining order against him to protect me when we were out there! This man literally threatened to murder me and they refused to take his keys to base housing! They let him show up one day without my knowledge cause he knew I was gone cause they had me talking to the first sgt. Then I show up and he’s there which the command helped do. Then the military police started fighting with the state police on who was going to arrest him lol. He had me followed also by people in his command. His only punishment for physical abuse and violence was anger management counseling. And I was sent back home and had to fight to get any money or help I was entitled to. I warn you Hawaii is different! My ex met some of the worst people there ever and it changed him to be even worse!

Actually it kind of seems like you are the one with the issues. Realistically you must have something going on to make it a mission to constantly leave negative comments on someone's channel that you don't even know. You must have very low self-esteem and you could possibly benefit from seeking some help. Good luck to you I hope you do talk to someone because living a life of such negativity and trying to tear down others is no way to live it is extremely unhealthy. Best of luck!
