A piece of advice I keep with me is, “give yourself the grace you’d give someone else”. You are such a positive light on here and so so kind. You are so deserving of grace.
Lynn, I cried with you. I also understand that exact feeling. Where one door closes another opens. That's the beauty of life. And the future lynn will say...Ahhhhhh ok, I get it now God... this is what you were preparing me for! Such a blessing to have such experiences. YOU ARE NOT A BAD MOM! You are an AMAZING MOM! You and Chris have always put the children first from what I've seen❤. I know you're going to miss that house. And you know what, that to shall pass! Sounds like you're still going to be blessed. We've been in our house for 37 years. It's an 870 sq ft house with one bathroom on a tiny city lot. We raised 2 kids in it, and our daughter and grandson moved in 5 yrs ago. Count your blessings, dear one. 🙏 💕
Go get those dolls and donate them. If they ask, you just tell them “I didn’t love them anymore so they found a new home.” I don’t keep anything anymore for any reason if I don’t love it and man it feels good to be in control and have firm boundaries!

Awe I can relate. We were in our home 12 years that we had built and had so many awesome memories. We lit a candle, said a prayer, cried, and said goodbye to the house. That really helped. Maybe you can do that in your new home and say a prayer for all of the good times and blessings in your new home. Hugs!

Amen, sister! I am leaving the suburbs with my three children to move closer to my immediate family, cousins and in the small community I grew up in. I’m happy to have my kids back in nature, on land and learning how to be responsible and tired at the end of the day. God bless your family and the new adventure you have ahead of you.

I feel your sadness so much. My husband is in the Air Force and we move on average every three years. I thought it would kill me when we left our last home. So many memories, the location, only a 5 hour drive from my family, the house itself, watching my kids have to leave their best friends... It's beyond hard. Praying for you to have peace with your move.💞🙏

30 years ago we were gonna build a house and our loan did not go through. We were devastated, fast forward there’s now a 3 Lane Highway in the backyard of what would’ve been our backyard. We went on to find a home that is on a beautiful cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbors and a huge beautiful backyard. Things happen for a reason
Same thing happened to us, we found a fabulous property that needed renovation but we had so many ideas to make it into our masterpiece. Our loan fell through and we passed by it recently and the motorway is about 10 feet from the front door .
Oh Lynn I was watching this video and just wanting to give you a hug and let you know you’re a good momma. God is giving you another place to make your own and be able to live in for a long time. That highway behind this house is ridiculous and incredibly noisy. You are a strong woman and will make it through this trial.
You are not a failure! You are a light to so many people. God gave you peace and He will get you through these times and you will look back and see how He worked it out for the best. I was in a very similar situation a year and a half ago! We built a house on a brand new street and it was the 2nd house built. Shortly after 53 more homes were built on our small street which we knew was coming but didnt realize how cramped it would feel. We lived there just over two years and decided to look for a new home with some land and less neighbors. I shed many tears over that house during the whole selling process and while packing. But we have grown so much closer as a family and have never been happier, i dont even miss the old house! Please dont feel like a failure!! You are stronger than you think ❤

I love how you talk about reaching out to Him and asking Him for help. I'm sorry to hear you had to make this decision and yes moving is traumatic no matter what but just keep praying and know that you are making decisions that are with the best intentions in mind. I've been wanting to get back to the basics for awhile now...but also find it very difficult to leave the home we built and raised our children in 26 yrs. ago. Oh Lynn, this is what keeps me coming back to your channel. Your honesty is a blessing! I think at our core we all deeply want to be "home", like put down our roots and just stay put...but that longing is actually for heaven with our Lord...until then we just keep striving to create that feeling here on earth. It's so beautiful to see you obeying what God is telling you instead of giving into the feelings ( which we know are temporary). Oh sweetheart I can totally understand where your coming from. We moved from our farm in northern Pa to NC. December will be 2 years. I was devastated it’s taken me until recently to accept it. I did A LOT and i mean a lot of praying and listening and looking at my husband and I got it. My life is so much better now. I still miss my farm and 2 of our grown kids but I know this is what God wants and he has something planned. I so wish I could give you a massive hug. Praying for you sweet lady!!!

Lynn, this video really hit me. I haven't been following you for long but I can feel the pain you are going through leaving the memories and the hopes behind. My husband and I have been in our home for 10 years. We've brought 2 babies home to it, 2 puppies and have shared many laughs. We know this is not our forever home, but that doesn't mean that when it is time to go that I won't feel like you do now. You know what is best in the end, but its hard to see why it's best when you love something so deeply. I hope in time that you are able to give your new home the chance to show you why it is a better fit ❤
