Dang. Same for me. I had glasses on when I entered a store. I did try on some on a rack but didn’t purchase and went to leave with the ones I came in with and they stopped me at the door.

What we have here is a case of someone not being able to admit that they were wrong. And that “someone” is the man running the sale. He got proven wrong, and couldn’t just own up to it. He most likely felt super embarrassed afterwards. Good work calling him out. Tons of respect for you guys!

You must not have heard her explain she's been put down and taken advantage of her entire life, and she's finally found her voice, and will to not allow it to happen anymore! The man did apologize, BUT then continued to accuse her of stealing it, likely by switching price tags. His wife likely did the pricing, and if he didn't like the price she put on it, he should have helped!

Thats not brave, it was an emotional response that could have resulted in Matt and that man fighting , going to jail or worse! While all Kayla would have done is sit there scream, cry and been perfectly unscratched while Matt and that man Risked their freedom or lives for something so petty!

Kayla offered from the first to return it and get her money back, then offered again. It was only when Matt flat out asked him do you want it back that he backed down. "You stole it" vs "You got a steal" it's all about your words...

When you sell your stuff at a garage sale, most normal people list the items at bargain basement prices as sellers just want to get rid of old junk as quickly as possible and make a couple of bucks. This guy and his wife were both jerks. The wife didn't say one word when she knew they had just paid her for the stuff. To top it off, the buyer offered to give him his items back and just cancel the sale. He refused and continued to berate the buyers. I hate people like that!

@@Shiesty9168 Not really. The Buyer offered several times to cancel the sale and give the items back for a refund of the money they paid. The seller didn't want to do this either. He just wanted to berate the buyers even though they graciously offered to give him his items back. The seller and his wife were both total jerks!

Loved seeing you stand up for yourself! I was at a garage sale and carried around a small lamp for awhile trying to decide if I was gonna buy it. I decided not to and put it down and started to leave. As I was walking away the lady running the sale tried to accuse me of stealing it! I spun around and said I'm not a theif! Then kept walking. I still don't know where this lady thought I would hide a whole ass lamp if I was trying to steal it.

Yeah but you could say that about all things sold at a yard sale. That’s the whole point… the things that are no longer useful to you are sold at bargain price or “steal of a deal”. That man was just trying to cover his mistake and for his wife to sit there and let that go down is shameful. Plus, it’s the responsibility of the seller to make sure tags and prices are correct, not the people shopping. Wife could have told her it was incorrect when she paid for it. If the guy had gone about it a little nicer I would have thought it was a miscommunication but not after his flippant attitude.
I think his wife wanted all that crap gone. She didn't speak up about the "price" because she didn't want to take the blame for "her price". Thanks for the video.

And I highly doubt people carry around an assortment of tags so they can match the tags at that sale to price things themselves and rip the sellers off. Heyy. I love your UA-cam channel. ❤ i just wanted to say something about this one. My Dad passed away 2 years ago from Alzheimer's. And this Man reminds me of him. I'm sure of him not being aware of the signs. Some people can't help it. My Dad was sweet. And towards the end wasn't a bed of roses. I miss him so much! People are struggling with Mental health, illnesses, and other things. My Momma now has it. And she is in a wheel chair. My Dad got Suicidal towards the end and aggressive towards others. It's sad that people can't admit when they're wrong. We all make mistakes, no biggie, but the way he dealt with it was the "sorry/not sorry" way. I think it’s great that you stood up for yourself! In my younger years I was very passive, and let too many people treat me unjustly. Then something in me snapped, and I said no longer would I just let people walk all over CB me when they were in the wrong.

A red flag was when he wanted $20 for 19 cozies when they’re listed as $1.00 each. He should have given you a discount. He’s the kind of seller who will end up giving everything to goodwill because he wants top dollar.

Holy cow that was entertaining. I was an Uber driver and I kept thinking "lady (or sir) I cannot stand your spouse for this 5-minute drive! how do you live with them full time?" I notice that the wife was silent, much like she is at every restaurant, store or party where he lets loose the ignorance on innocent normals.

You go Kayla. I'm only 5'4", so all my life I have been the smallest in school growing up. When my dad left our family, I was 12yrs old. He always told me that dynamite comes in small pkgs, he also told me that it was time for me to start defending myself. I did all through H.S., then when I got married he turned out to mentally abusive. I felt be-littled all over again. We divorced, thank goodness. Then I met the best guy in the world, he helped me find my voice again. We've been together for 31yrs abd married for 29 yrs.🎉🎉🎉🎉 Here's to all who have learned to be heard and all who still want to b3 heard.
