Definitely an improvement on both. Hoping you get around to finishing your Ryu custom as I agree he should have been more game accurate. But as usual, that is the risk with being a first release figure. Hopefully Juhn's words of potentially releasing improved versions of earlier characters is really going to be a thing down the line.
Oh, that's new to me. I didn't know they said that. They would cause me to purchase a 6th time lol. And yea. I got ryu in blue and another in the game correct colors. I have one I'm going to give a pink gi. I uploaded some videos or shorts of them.

Both your Ryu don't have air brush/wash. I got 3 and my 3rd one finally has it.

Did you paint ryu’s skin and face too? Or is it different version of jada toys
What paint did you use for the hair? It looks good so far too bad Jada wasn't accurate with Ryu & Fei long
Ikr I think they came up with the select screen thing after these were done. And it was the Vallejo model flesh I think. I have so many types I mix
