It’s amazing that Jada Toys is so new with 6 inch figures but yet their engineering and articulation is already better than 95% of other 6/7 inch lines
Hell yeah! That's what's blowing me away. I mean I haven't heard of them until the Universal Monsters line, and they were even improving on those with each release. Now these are in a class beyond that. Like they got their shit together _real quick._ Took cues from the import companies, like any smart business would do. Then you got a company like hasbro doing the pinless thing and occasional diaphragm ball joint, but still implementing an ugly ab crunch instead of a ball joint at the waist.
It's as if they self-sabotage, or do half-ass incremental improvements to keep you buying the same figures over and over; but I don't think it goes that deep. It's probably the bosses of the engineers & design team that think what they're doing is actually the cream of the crop. Those higher-ups never look at other companies. They just know they're the only company putting out mass-market disney stuff, so no need to keep up with the Jones's.
@@Chalor. Hasbro's joints can be ugly, but McFarlane's joints are downright ATROCIOUS! I don't understand how fans let them get away with ugly and limited articulation in 2023 lol
Tbf I know them from doing the robocop reboot figures think they were 6 and 3.75 scale and they weren't the best. Awesome to see the product they are making now though
They should get the license to produce actually solid Invincible figures bc the Diamond Select ones are awful. That, or Resident Evil (unless mcf takes it), or BPRD/Hellboy figures
Based on the interviews juhn from jada toys has done on podcasts, it really seems like this is a passion project for him. He talks about being a big fan of the old sota line and how he wanted to make an updated version of it.
Jada Toys went in on the engineering. Super clean proportions while still being super poseable. Hope companies are taking notes.

Yep, _especially_ hasbro. But in all honesty, it's not hard these days for any given company to put hasbro to shame. Jada Toys feels like the future. THIS is what we need in stores alongside NECA stuff. NECA can keep doin' their thing, and Jada can slowly but surely take all the properties from McFarlane and hasbro....in my dreams.

@@FriedSpicyChicken26 No they're not. McFarlane figures have atrocious articulation, no sense of scale within the line, and hideous joints. Plus the accessories are so lacking, it's embarrassing. I don't understand why some people defend McFarlane so hard, they make some of the worst domestic figures in the game IMO
Its putting Mafex and Shf into shame too with that price same articulation for 24dollars vs 90 to 130dollars
Seeing how amazing this figure and Ryu are at $25 really make other companies (you know which ones) look cheap by comparison. They need to get with the times like Jada!

@@massavasaiful but I gotta give it to mcfarlane. For keeping the price down. They almost have new sculpt for their figures. Theyre just bad in terms of sculpting and joints. Unlike hasbro. Hasbro=zero effort. Max profit.
Damn, what a figure! I hope Jada gets other video game licenses as well, I would love to see them do Tekken, Killer Instinct, or King of Fighters/Art of Fighting.

Holy shit! I haven't seen the packaging for these until now, and *damn* does it look cool! Haven't gotten anything from Jada Toys yet, but pretty sure I'm gonna be very pleased whenever I get my first Street Fighter fig from them. They're like super affordable Mafex/Figurarts figs.
I haven't played Street Fighter since my college days, but I want this figure.
Hasbro has no excuse for their limited articulation now. They need to take a look at this figure and up their game.
It'll be interesting to see how Jada handles the female characters. Hopefully they'll be as good as this.👍
How quickly Jada Toys has been moving up on the list of affordable, high quality action figures is proof they are here to stay.
I already own their Universal Monster figures (same hand candy feel), so I look forward to taking these home! 🙌
For the same price, this line is how Marvel Legends is supposed to be. All in for Ryu and Ken
With the sculpt, articulation, accessories, and license this is soon to be one of the top toy lines in the 20 dollar price range. Jada is killin it
I was on the hunt for that figuarts ryu but it became pricey on the aftermarket so I was super excited to see jada toys reveal their street fighter line. Seeing Juhn from jada toys on podcasts talk about this line got me even more excited because it seemed like this was a passion project for him and that they were coming from a right place making these figures. I'm happy they are living up to the hype.
I have all the Shf and some SC but now can't wait to see all the missing guys like their Guile and Dhalsim ! 🔥

I just got one. This is craaaazy good. No lies said in this video. I put him right up in the display with my sh figuarts Street Fighter and it doesnt look out of place at all. For $24 that’s crazy. Jada Toys flexed.
Imagine if Jada got their hands on the Mortal Kombat license! They would do a way better job than McFarlane just looking at this figure.
I still want an MK line that accurately depicts how the martial artists/actors looked in MK 1, 2 and UMK3
I know those guys would all be down to lend their likeness's. So ya know not super buff and no part 1 and 2 costume
mash ups like I want the source materials ya know. I have a bunch of Storm MK stuff because they are great figs but

This is the gold standard of all brand for their 1/12 figures articulation range. Let alone it's a 25 dollar figure. What A Great Job!

I didn't know about this line so it's fairly exciting to hear about it and through your review. His look is amazing but I do feel like the face isn't too nice when looked upon closely, it sort of looks better when afar. I also loved you analysis on the articulation; I think this shows drop-down hips aren't all that needed. Thorough and complete, also one of your best reviews!

Fei Long was announced for storm for next year but I don't think it would have articulation like Jada this figure looks sick!
I don't know anything about Street Fighter, but I like good toys and these toys looked incredible since the first announcement. Glad to see they've turned out just as well as they looked.
Jada is setting the standard for articulation, paint, and unique tooling in a $25 figure that other companies will hopefully have to start following.
I'm watching your live stream right now and had to come back to comment here. I was already looking forward to these figures but now damn! I'm kinda hyped. I was rooting for Jada from jump when I heard they were getting into 1/12 figures. The Universal Monsters have been dope, and I even liked the cereal monsters, but this Fei Long looks like it's gonna be BARRRZZZ! I love the way they approached the articulation and range of motion. I don't need every figure to move like Spidey but it's so dope to have a Bruce Lee-type martial arts guy that is so agile. Man, I'd love to see them get a DC license or some Indie comic characters. We NEED that in our lives.
Jada doing DC would be incredible! If they maintained this level of quality and did DC stuff, I wonder if it would threaten Legends and force them to step up their game!

The articulation on these is like a 1000% better then storm collectibles plus they are in scale with so many lines
So excited for this line man!! For that price, that sculpt, that paint job, and that articulation? I saw in the other review, even Ryu's top can come off and i think Jada put so much love into the line. So excited!
I knew these figures were gonna be great the moment I saw that promo pic they had of Fei Long doing the splits. Here's to hoping Jada Toys picks up more fighting game licenses in the future. Would love figures of other iconic characters like Terry Bogard and Jin Kazama in this scale, especially of similar quality.

Just hoping they keep making the other characters.. I was one of the few who collected their 4inch die cast figures but was sad they only made 4 SF characters in that line.
Edit: I also wish they had the licenses for the other fighting games like Tekken, KOF, and MK

The SOTA Street Fighter toys hold up so nice that I've still been trying to track a few down on the secondary market but now with Jada coming through I am definitely ALL IN on this line! These look amazing! The SHF ones are nice and I've picked up Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li from them but I totally agree with you, I don't love SF that much be all in at their price point, plus they're based on some more modern artwork/designs. These Jada figures have that CLASSIC SF2 look! Then we got Storm Collectibles with their FAKE ASS "1:12" scale. PLEASE stop fucking lying, that shit is 1:10 and they fucking know it. I hope Jada gets the license for King of Fighters!! That would be my DREAM line for sure, we don't get hardly enough KOF merchandise from anyone.
Yeah, it genuinely makes me laugh out loud with the "1:12" bullshit from Storm. Most of it is not even 7" scale, it's more like 1/9 scaled figures...which doesn't really go with anything unless you wanna pair them with Mego/NECA retro dolls. They look really great (even though I'm not into the modern designs), but I'm not interested in Play Arts Kai sized figures.
I'm a huge street fighter fan, and I am all in after seeing this. Hopefully they keep the quality this high throughout the line

Best articulation I've eber seen! The range of motion is on par 👍 and those sota figures still looking amazing! Better sculpt, details and paint apps, if they were still alive they would be have modern articulation and way above hasbro mattel and other lines no doubt. Rip Sota

I'm really hyped to collect this line since SHFiguarts already stopped the line. But I really wish they included all basic hand sets options like relaxed hand, grabbing hands and etc

Love this figure already. Only thing I wished they did differently, was give him a pair of nunchucks, and a hand that holds them. Other than that, this figure is 💣💥💥💥💥!!!!!
