Johnnie Dee is said to be the grumpiest guy in Toronto. Well....If you knew what it's like in the music "Business" end of it, you would be too.. But look at these guys!! Keeping what's left of REAL rock and roll alive and well! Enjoying the best place and time in this world!!. . . On the stage entertaining!!! Well done guys!!! :)
He's known to at least be the grumpiest entertainer anyway. The whole band are seasoned professionals and see the best and worst of the industry. I know firsthand they played a gig in downtown Toronto a few years ago and refused to walk on stage until they had cash in their hand. I'm sure they've been screwed over so they know what it's like to do business after doing it for so long. However, as a showmen, when I pay to see a band, I expect them to be there for the fans. Johnny comes across on stage like he'd rather be anywhere else but singing the songs that pay the mortgage. Kind of off putting as a life long fan.
Seen them last year 2022 in Winnipeg with streetheart and headlines. Great show. I threw a 45 single on the stage hir the band to sign but...never got it back
It’s the same set list since the 80s… sadly even Duran Duran has way more hits them… this is what happens when you don’t have good leadership in a band …. They are stuck in a box and can’t get out

@@anthonylove821 a lot of the 80s kids stopped buying music from bands of that era when 90s came around...it wasn't the bands fault
