- Over 30 years ago Honeymoon Suite stepped into Phase One Studios, Toronto to record their first album. September of this year, boom 973 brought them back to where it all began. In front of a small studio audience, the band performed some of their biggest hits and some new tunes they’ve been working on. It was up close, intimate and nothing short of awesome.
We’ve managed to capture a few of those moments for you. It’s our pleasure to present “Studio boom: Honeymoon Suite”.

Bad management
They have good credit , none of them went bankrupt or have missed payments .
Alot of Canadian bands in the 80s experienced the same bad management.
Time doesn't always treat old bands well but these guys still sound tight.

80s were the best years!! The music was second to none. This group kicked ass, rocked many nights away. The car stereo couldn’t go loud enough.

He’s a very sweet kid guitarist, no question. Very tasteful and doesn’t overplay. I loved this band in my early teens and still love their music. Great Canadian band that is vastly underrated.
First time I heard this song I was on vacation in Toronto in the summer of 83. To this day it’s one of my favorite songs, and I’m so glad to see the guys sounding so tight. Awesome performance gents!

Home grown 30 years ago, I was there studying in Toronto and lucky enough to witness their success, great band back then and now, I still have their sounds in my car and all portable devices, good to see them still active

The intro kicks off like Enter Sandman, followed by a short drum fill, drops seemlessly into the tune. that's a nice bit.

This song was a big part of my healing way back. It came out the same time my fiancé dumped me and scared me for a long time! It still penetrates my heart today when I hear it. My question way back to her was, what did I say to you, what did you see me do?

Cuando llegue a mi casa lo primero que hice fue buscar en youtube a Honeymoon Suite...me parece una banda genial y estoy feliz de haber podido conocer su musica.
today in a very popular market in Santiago de Chile, called Persian Bio Bio, I bought several LPs and among them came the one from Honeymoon sweet "Racing After Midnight" I listened to it in the record store and it seemed fantastic. When I arrived at my house, the first thing I did was search UA-cam on Honeymoon Suite ... I think it's a great band and I am happy to have known its music.
My favourite Canadian band growing up. I got to sing with them once as well, I was over the moon!! In my opinion Racing After Midnight is not their best album, but one thing about these guys is that all of their albums have great songs on them, and they sound just as good live as they do on record, if not better. I can't wait until they come back again.
