The image of Don with his hand up high in the air after Will asks "raise your hand if Mac's freaking you out right now" really makes me laugh every time i see it. I dont know why
Agreed, this was positively brilliant - Miss Mortimer's delivery is just spot on! I've been watching her films for years, but never knew she was good at comedy. One minor bit of staging here that drives me crazy - when the power comes back up, everybody's desktop is functioning again right away, and they're all able to connect to the LAN and get back to work - ha! Only somebody who's never worked in an office would have scripted that! There'd be about half an hour of waiting for servers to re-boot, then the IT guy would probably have to fix a bunch of things manually... I know, I know, liberties for the sake of flow...
about half a minute before this video starts - in full eposide they say following things: Mac: It's been explained to me 19 different ways how we can never lose power in the studio. What about all the redundancies? some guy in control room: There was a round of budget cuts before you got here. And they cut some of the redundancies... Mac: Don't say it. some guy in control room: because they thought they were redundant.
As much as I love this, if the sun hasn't gone down yet, why are they sitting in the dark? Why not open all those blinds they've got in the background....

"is gonna SAVE, THIS, SON OF A BITCH!"
I died.
Mac cursing out God! Priceless!

I laughed so hard at this scene
It’s not that funny. What’s funnier is her delusions of grandeur before the power comes back on.
@@jnnx you sure owned the me from a decade ago.
"Doing a big thing badly." Yet another wonderful Sorkinism.
And here we see Will falling for Mac all over again ❤️
"aRE yOu taLkINg aBoUT mE?" NNOO!
yes. She's the best
Mac finds out that God does have a sense of humor.
god so cruel that time ONLY to Mac lol
Mac is a blatently brilliant boss
This should be the title of the clip 😂😂😂
In one of the very next scenes will starts off by saying “bombshell after bombshell in todays coverage of…”
She invented comedy with the screaming
Honestly, I would love to have seen them pull all that stuff off to do the show.
probably my favorite scene of season 1
God, I love this show...
Can only imagine what it’d be covering if it were on these days.
She's passionate
3:00 the moment Will realized he's going to marry her.... again? :P
I thought that didn't come till @3:24, @3:00 is when he remember why he loves her.
why in the world would you know that?.
Laven Raj "Just...one of those things."
Sunset isn't actually when it gets dark. In England and Wales, the Deer Act 1991 defines night as starting 1 hour after sunset.
This, this is when Will falls in love with Mac again, and knows it. And knows he will never love anyone the way he loves her.
Y'all liked this? Ok to each his own I guess but to me it's just hilarious
Surprised they wouldn't have a couple of those big ass generators that datacenters use for power outages.

They didn't siphon power from the command module to the LM on Apollo 13. It was the other way around.
Given the fact it was an Aaron Sorkin creation I am truly surprised that one slipped past them.
The moment America 🇺🇸 realised it couldn't live without England 🏴 👍 beautiful. 🇬🇧 What a wingmen 😂
THERE IS THAT SPECIAL KIND.
UNSTOPPABLE AT ANYTHING.
SURE USED TO BE ONE.

Take a number, the line forms to the left. :-)

Most of those windows, if I recall correctly, were to other offices, and not the outside
@@joshuaobrien6007 Then what would be the point in having windows?

The Newsroom was an ok show that had delusions of being great.
I politely disagree
Respecting your opinion, I must disagree
I THINK YOU ARE HALLUCINATED
I thought it was a really good show but hard to top The West Wing. Has M. Night ever done better than the Sixth Sense?
@@homerjs225 TWW was pure leolib propaganda trash, and Aaron Sorkin has a lot to answer for.
