I love mac in this scene yelling at Jim. "Do you want to end up like the two of us? A strong beautiful vital woman and a hollowed out shell of a man?!" "That's the voice of a dead man!" I have to go a die laughing now...
yes, cheating always cracks people up.
I love how when Mac tells him to eat some jello he does.
What else could he have done? Mac was going ballistic because Jim and Maggie aren't together, Will is confined to that bed courtesy of Mac and "the mean nurse" so eating Jell-O sounded like the only reasonable option...
Will and MAC are the best couple on TV in history. They only show them kissing once, never doing the business, hardly even hugging. Still, their interactions remind you of a married couple who love each other to bits, understand each other better than any other couple and have fights like married couple but still don't give up on each other. At the same time they know neither of them are going anywhere. MAC KNOWS well that she has got him even though he is dating all these women because she knows he will ALWAYS come back to her. Emily Mortimer is probably the best actor on TV that I have ever seen.
Jed and Abbey Bartlett were the best, at least from 90 onward. Will and Mac are great too though.

This scene just shows what a family the newsroom team are. Mac and Will are so the parents, Jim is like the oldest son (and although he's not in this scene Charlie is so the kick ass grandfather). Thanks for all these uploads- season 2 can't come quick enough!

I applaud Mac for hitting Jim with the pillow. I'm as just frustrated by his romantic incompetence as she is. Jim and Maggie are worst than Ross and Rachel.
i think don and maggie are a nice couple and mac should accept them rather than hitting jim with a pillow.
to be fair Don did manipulate Lisa into getting with don.

That goes back to when Will told Don "Those were the days" when he reminded Don how he once didn't care what was going on with the personal lives of the people in the office. Funny how often he was proven right throughout the series...
