OMG-OMG-OMG... - *I was there* - during my military service... ...I did not know that the concert was filmed...!!! OMG - how many memories are coming up inside me while I´m watching this video... I remember, I was standing in the 10th row and was playing "air drums" to the beats - and Steve Negus, the drummer (I was a great fan of him) *saw this* , looked directly into my eyes, smiled and suddenly - for the break of a moment - he played a kind of "special" drum beats (what was not part of the song!), between his "standard" drum beats... ...(he was sooo fast!!! - too fast for me) - and he laughed and gave me a wink...!!! What a funny guy!!! And I was sooo proud, that he had noticed me at all in the crowd... I was so happy - I have never forgotten this, *never* ... After the concert my jacket was completely sweaty and then smelt *so* terribly - the stink did not go away and finally I had to give the jacket into the garbage! So much time has passed since then... I'm lost for words...
Great band, love them, and I wish more people knew about them. They are Canadian, but not many Canadians have ever heard of them, which is sad. They were huge in Germany and other Western European countries though.
Exactly! Unfortunately, Saga lived in the shadow of Rush, Triumph and other Canadian bands at the time (I love the aforementioned bands as well) and deserve much more love and attention than they already receive. They are just as creative as the others, and other great bands like Yes, Marillion, IQ, Dream Theater, etc., and their prowess for technicality, coupled with feel and emotion and maturity in writing is evident in how they presented themselves and how they continue to present themselves. For all of these reasons (and more), it really blows me away that Saga didn't rise to the same commercial success the way Rush did, but in my book, they are right up there with the rest. Who knows, maybe this generation (I'm 19 haha) can spark a renewed interest in Saga. Never know what can happen! SAGA forever! 🙏👌🎵
i am still, since the first moment of the band exist, a Fan and enjoy their great Music, but, perhaps without Michael Sadler it´ll not be the same... well , for me. His performance was and still is, the main part of each Concert when i visited a SAGA Gig. Especially this " You´re not alone" is a perfect give and take song, where the artist and audience interact in a perfect moment of sharing mood of joy. I wish the Band will continue and not stop creating this way of wonderful music, even they still not got the appreciation of place in the world of music , they should have.
At the 33 second mark there's something said at a slightly less register. I swear I'm not kidding it sounds like a slur against a certain group of folk. Let me know if you make it out.

They had and have many fans too in Puerto Rico since the beginning. I have seen them in concert there 5 times. My favorite band!

Great song. Would have liked to have seen the guitar solo.

One of the most "Monumental Crimes" in the History of Progressive Rock. An indecently underrated Superb Band...🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great song, one of their best

Shame. Nowadays it's just the usual rock and rap. Progressive music is so unique, but it mostly died out. :(
