  • Reuploaded due to audio issues. Post lock down session on a west cork beach targeting a few species. The session started off well wit a grey mullet on maddies but that was the only fish for the a few hours. As the tide neared high the fish came on the feed with plenty of small teabag turbot , small flounder and some weavers.

Reel: Tronix Envoy, Penn mag 525, Daiwa calida 2500

Stumbled across the channel from Reddit, good to see a decent Irish fishing channel.

Thank you for this video, very informative. By the way, think I caught the world's smallest plaice on a 1/0 hook, the size of an English 10pence coin, top that, ha!

Awesome video great to see a good channel of fishing in West Cork. Would you mind letting me know what this mark is called or if you know of any good marks close enough to clonakilty. I'm trying to progress from only lure fishing to ground bait fishing and looking for good spots. Thanks

What species are you looking to target? Most of the beaches from kinsale on will get you bass and flounder with the odd dogs mixed in.

@@IrishAnglingAdventures after anything that I can get really. I catch and release most of the time so it doesn't bother me what species(big or small) but I suppose I would like to catch some flatfish species as I've never caught those before.

Flounder are easily found on many beaches and will take a variety of baits with lugworm ragworm and crab being top baits. Can get decently sized ones and you can catch bass on those baits too. Courtmacsherry would be a nice spot to try for them over low water fishing directly into the channel. Clean ground and just a small walk from the car. longstrand redstrand ownahincha and Warren all will throw up bass and flounder with small turbot mixed in too. Incoming tide is best for all the beaches but 2 hours either side of low water if fishing the river channels. Use a 2 or 3 hook flapper with size 1 or if you want to go really small size 4 hooks. Should get plenty of fish. If you arent sure on making rigs your can buy them pre made in any fishing shops. We will be doing a few rig making videos over the next few weeks if you want to see them.

THANK YOU for this video, .I wish I knew your name ?. I've watch a few of your videos and their interesting. Good on info and areas to fish as well. There is 1 arsehole on UA-cam making videos no names mentioned but he only shows his catches and you can't even see where he's fishing ( PRICK ). You would think that fish don't swim in the sea they just stay in 1 spot. I have subscribed to your channel.
