Living Green Radio Interview David Sands of Bamboo Living part 1

David Sands is an iconoclast. Born and raised in Florida, he received his Masters in Architecture in 1982 from the University of Florida. After relocating to Maui, Hawaii in 1988, David co-founded Bamboo Living with Jeffree Trudeau in 1995. David believes that working with bamboo reflects the person he strives to be: strong, resilient and flexible, with a healthy openness that provides inner peace. "It was simply the right thing to do. I couldn't go on designing homes unconsciously. We set out to find a better big picture way to serve the Earth, and Humanity."
