I can't wait to build a bamboo house in my native Barbados!!!
This is what Im looking for! Im planning to build my own bamboo house
it may look fragile, but it's 10x as hard as the maples and oaks that we build our own houses with. And plus the looks of it is just one of a kind. I LOVE IT
So beautiful. Dream home. Would love to make that reality one day.
Gorgeous, organic structure, seems very liveable and natural therapy to mind, body and soul. A place I would love to come back to called a home.
I am looking to build a bamboo house in 3 years. This is gorgeous.
Where at
oh so wonderful bamboo house its my dream house....
What a beautiful healthy home to raise a family in or just to enjoy living in.
I am always amazed with the beauty of bamboo houses, so natureal...
Nice bamboo house.
I'm searching for designs of small place and I came across with bamboo materials. This is voalah. I just remember my grandpa made chair, tables and huts (bamboo house in the Philippines) made of bamboo. Now thinking to use bamboo as a lanai at the front of my place. thanks for sharing this video. Beautiful!
i love bamboo house, very cool and we feel at peace of it's simplicity but the bad thing is during typhoon season..
it is actually typhoon-resilient
so cool,beautiful&Livable house..I love it!
flew to Hawaii from Switzerland to have a look at the eco house? Errr...
Simply Beautiful :) Thank you for doing what you do.
whoahh just like back home when im still a child we used to live in a bamboo house it is eco friendly and cool too bad they changed it with concrete house.. i love the way they built that bamboo house love it👍
that is my purpose to work with bamboo. i want to make everything from bamboo as what i can. i will remember this good style. thanks for this videos.
Nicely done. Thank you.
beautiful.
What a beautiful clean green home to live and hang out in, you can actually see how calm and serenely it sits in its surroundings, I love it. Hmmm. could you use bamboo along side straw bales???
fantastic! congrats brow!
My dream house like this beautiful.
awesome!
I say wow!
Bamboo rots quickly once it gets wet. What type of weather proofing have they done? Show me a bamboo house more than a few years old.
Impressive !
l love it !!
soon..its my dream house..
Try to go to the Philippines, And you will see the beauty of the farmhouse made of bamboo, :)
WOW!!!
Nice design.
Zig says strong yurt!!
Bamboo is definitely more dense than other woods so it just goes that it is a stronger structure than a conventional home.
wow is very nice I like that I build that kind of house soon.
Nice dude!
Dreamy house! I just wonder how sturdy a home like this would hold up in a major tropical storm? Not particularly well I'd should imagine. There's a reason why in the Philippines they choose reinforced concrete over bamboo when they can afford it.
wow this is a good option for home.
I so agree. I am watching this because I am planning to go home permanently and build a cost effective, eco friendly home. I am torn between earthbag and bamboo. I want to build a 1000 sq ft home. I don't know much that is in sq. meters. I want it to be earthquake, flood, and typhoon proof. Planning to build it in badian or car car.
nice i like ittt,,
These are very beautiful. Does the house have as much wood framing as the foundation?
Coconut house can be as good as bamboo house.... Check out the Coconut Palace in Manila.
I lived in a bamboo house since birth! Then I build a concrete home. Now I am thinking to build again a bamboo house in my backyard but this time it will be hanging on the 100-year- old mango tree.
So beautiful
My one thing is people, when they talk about sustainability, seem to talk like you have to do fully self sustainable. If you can afford to that's fine, but if not doing little things still make huge financial and sustainable benefits. Hell I plan on growing a controllable and sustainable section of bamboo to work with and build things with.
Wow🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀
I would love to have a bamboo house i want to have one! So bad!
Check Philippines bamboo house design.
nice
This is great but little information to go by even about the company that built the houses what about contacts?
Can I see more of the inside?
Is it long lasting...
So can bamboo be used to build in alaska
ชอบ
But did any of them buy?
If you think this is good, you should really check the bamboo houses built in Bali, there is a ted talk given by the designer
its about 30.00 a pole online.
What do you do if a hurricane or typhoon comes through are they sturdy enough.....?
Where is it? I mean which country.
you have a fly in the forhead
id love to find a builder in philippines such as this..
You can find bamboo builders here in Mindanao.
No doubt. yet i'd like a modern style that is built high end. Are you aware of any such builder?
Can you build a house like this on Oahu. How does it stand up in a rainy area? Does the city grant permits for these homes
I know there is one in Lanikai.
Where is this?
Where in the world was this bamboo house built? Hawaii...Thailand... China?
I need the design please
@emarlou22 wish in the phils they had this idea instead of hollow block and concrete a home with SOUL!!
Im guessing 350k... starting out
My father has baboo farm in Korea and I wonder whether I can learn how to build this kind of house and do some business....
Check. The farm house is done by Beautiful life with JOAN &. . :it's very simple design but cute.
It's not fire proof tho, is it?
....nice...only they didnt say how much does it cost to build a house like that... and also if u want to make it fully sustainable, and disconnect from the grid, like put photovoltaics, and wind turbine at the top...how much can the price rise???... i can give u too many eco-solutions if your wallet can afford it... the point is to make sustainable eco-houses without having to spend a fortune...
also you cut the bambbo it grows back again!
Ummm, nice view of the 'greenies' that want one, but what I'd like to see is the damn house itself, inside and outside, not just a bunch of 'eco-friendlies' rambling on and on and on and on....... show us the damn house (or even just a floorplan), that's not to much to ask is it?????
Yes , and how much for mr wonderful house ? Hmm termites ? Hurricanes ? Fire ?
if your alternative building does not pass code it cannot be ocupied you might as well burn it down or better yet dont even build it. people we need ideas that cost less are better for the earth AND ARE LEGAL TO LIVE IN !
Probably not so fireproof though
That's what I thought of too!
wooden windows and doors would look better
Please tel me how I can contact them. I would like to build one in Pangasinan. Pleaseeeeeee
i hope that's not drywall inside the house or it makes this home as toxic as traditional homes.
rumah bambu baru percaya 30 juta bikin rumah biya 30 juta mas rumah mahal 100juta mas
Anyone that charges a lot for bamboo is a crook.
It is practically a weed.
AirScholar If someone is buying it, then who is the idiot?
Jess Vagnar
Crooks prosper in this world because there are so many idiots.
AirScholar True that. It's ridiculous some of the things you see in life. I wish that everyone could just learn common sense. Self-inflicted misfortune is rampant. :(
+AirScholar Maybe in your area, but it takes 5+ years to get fully established, is very hard to propagate by seed and labor-intensive for root cuttings, the best and largest varieties are usually limited to tropical zones, and most importantly demand for it is low in many areas.... Therefore it's actually one of the most expensive "common" plants on the market.
crazy808ish Don't self propagate. Put plastic liners in a double wall a foot or two apart in the region you want it. Then plant it in the middle and let it grow. Having the plastic walls prevents their spread and as far as I've seen you don't really have to worry about the multiplication of the plant.
I'm interested in what you meant. I don't think it'd be that expensive considering you're introducing it to your area for a utility purpose. (I mean it's not like you're building a koi pond, you're going to get something more than looks out of it and you're either interesting in having bamboo or you're not going to touch it until a bad situation.)
