Patch 29.6.2 Draconic Deathscale was removed from the game. Patch 29.6 Vengeful Slitherer was removed from the game. Added Silent Swimmer Tier 4 5/3 Naga Spellcraft: Give a minion +3/+5 and Stealth until next turn. Fun naga adding a target stealth to the game leaves room for all kinds of sneaky plays for ANY game. Changes Patch 29.4.2 Deep Blue Crooner changed to a 2/2 stat line no other changes. No change to play style.
Thank you so much for the great videos! I absolutely love that they are longer now so they can really go in-depth on the topic. I’m really excited for your dragons and beasts videos, these were the tribes that changed the most and I still haven’t figured out properly how to work with them
Thank you! I am going to be getting to these, but they are far down the list as Dragons should nerfed/changed pretty drastically AGAIN, and Beasts are going to get a similar treatment only with some buffs.
Thank you so much for your Videos. I played a lot when it came out and then off and on again, and i am always so confused with the new builts. All i know to play is Demon, Quillboar(man i cant express how much i love that tribe, its so nice getting these 1000/1000 minions) and Undead, because they didnt change much and are how they used to be, but all the other tribes are so hard to get to scale. Thanks to you i can try playing all the tribes
a note on shell whisperer, a good chunk of the tier 2 spells are gold centric, so they can accelerate your time tables by giving you extra gold for more explosive/consistent turns.
I watched your video and it finally made sense how to play Naga! First game I played got first place. It is a bit more complex than Dragons or Quilboar I must admit. My biggest blue croon (or whatever) was + 52/+52
Great video! Could you make a video, which quick recap of meta? Strongest builds with this deep dive later on? For example how to play beasts (as it is basically new tribe).
Right now my goal is to get all the tribe guides out first. That is 10 more tribes counting Neutrals!! Assuming I can get one out about every 4-5 days that is still going to take a bit! That being said it goes on the list! I started with Naga as they are in pretty good shape, and do not need much if any change. Beasts on the other hand are REALLY weak. Hoping they get a change so I can move them up on my list.
The only good way to play Beasts right now is Macaw-Goldrinn-MechaHorse (use your Macaw to trigger Goldrinn as many times as possible). Selfharm Beasts are dead.
They can feel that way at times. There was a time they gave 3 utility spells Stealth/Windfurry/Divine Shield as some of their main Spell Craft spells. They were nutty utility back then!
Not sure what elo you’re playing on, on 7k EU deep blues nagas win games way before other tribes start to outscale them, but maybe it’s just because in lower elo lobbies people don’t have the amp to scale infinite tribes well enough. Although I don’t see how you can pivot out of nagas when you’ve already invested so much in deep blues
Great guide! Only thing I'd point out is lord of gains is kind of a meme this season. It's ok, just outclassed heavily by buffing the shop and scaling with shellemental. Jeef has it in F tier on his comp spreadsheet
Typically when I make my guides I never take players like Jeef into account. Jeef plays in lobbies that frankly do not apply for the most part to typical BG players. While he is skilled, and people can see great plays by him any tier list he makes can not be applied to 90% of the player base. You are right in the case of the Lord of Gains as he has been falling off a lot in popularity as more and more people get the shellemental build going!
@@Heretic721 thats totally fair. Jeef is a robot from the future and I don't understand 95% of the things he does, so that does check out. Like I said great guide though!
Kind of off topic, how do you feel about the scaling this season? I’m finding it really hard to transition. If I don’t tunnel in with a tribe by tier three, I just get beat down by other peoples highly scaled minions and go out before I can catch up.
That game feels a bit too fast right now to me also making it harder to pivot. Quilboar for example if they hit Pokey early then the rest of the lobby really is on timer. Makes it hard for you to pivot if you find a better direction in your own build 2 turns later!
@Heretic721 problem with this season is quillboar have too many tools to scale, and to start scaling early. Other tribes 1) don't have as many tools and 2) need to have a combination of specific cards. So you're mostly playing for top 4 more often than not. What makes this season super frustrating, is the lack of flexibility most tribes have leads to taking a ton of damage early if you get unlucky. I've been knocked out before turn 10 more this season than any other

Liked and subscribed. Excellent video. I have been looking for comprehensive how-tos on battlegrounds. This is what I have been looking for fo sho!

I love playing Naga but always end up only top 4 with them, so thank you for this!
Thanks Heretic. I like naga's. I Will love if you refresh the guides to basic from all the Minions types, prefer Beast, Murlocs and elementals.
your content is absolutely goated. thank you for this!
I never thought of using the deep blue on the zesty in the shop. Nice tip.
I look forward to/hope for the new enrage beast version of this video
I love a new season of battlegrounds for the new cards just as much as I like it for new back to basic guides thank you heretic

Love these videos heretic! Keep em coming!
Keep up the great content, Heretic!
Great video!

I wouldn’t even mind a meta-tier list once a month or so

Love these guides man!
To me, Naga feels like a support tribe until you get to your real build

@@Heretic721 Back in the day i used to love playing lady vashj with nearly any tribe. She just has not got that jucy feel anymore.

very much needed vid, ty good sir 🙂
and after watching it all: A job well done as well. All the necessary is in it with enough room for us to go experimenting.
tks for the Naga guide
I'm a simple man. I see a heretic video I click on a heretic video
Early Storm Splitter and Eyes of the Earth Mother can really steam roll a lobby in duos. It's a disgustingly fun strategy.
Nasty Combo!
Literally after I got done with this video I played naga and got first place 😎😎
Grats!!
For me, maga is the hardest tribe to win a lobby

For some reason my Naga has been weak after the update just feel like they scale too slow and end up in top 4 most of the time
They are not in a bad place right now it feels to me. Just that a few things are over tuned in other tribes still.
@@Heretic721 yeah, lord of gains is strong but you are usually outscaled by end of turn quilboar for example
