I have used the Flowbee system on my husband and myself for over 35 years and never go to the salon anymore for a bad expensive haircut ! The last “professional “ cut I got was over $50 and I had to go home and fix it myself. And I fixed it using my flowbee while I had a full cast on my broken right arm! Haven’t paid for a haircut since. I have never tried it on long hair but it’s great for short hair styles
Us too! Same Flowbee (20 + years) for all my husband & son’s hair cuts. My husband gets haircuts every 3 weeks even during the lockdowns and when his colleagues ask where he goes, he says just my living room, my wife uses a Flowbee and then has to explain what it is. You use a vacuum to cut your hair, they always think that’s nuts! But it’s awesome!!
Yeah agree. I use clippers when I cut men’s hair, and this product is similar in that it has a “fixed cut length”, like when you use guards on clippers. You need to have the hair perpendicular to the scalp in order to be able to cut length uniformly. She was making some kind of odd ducktail by going side to side. There was no way for her to “be careful” because the length is fixed. She just needed to do a better job making sure all areas were cut up and down. Were there instructions or UA-cam tutorials?
Totally confused Why she was dragging the thing sideways, that’s not how you use clippers in the first place 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️, I would of thought she had more sense than that, seeing she’s used clippers to trim their little boys hair, this video just confused me.
I cut my hubby’s hair with the same brand of electric clippers that I use for my dog (not the same ACTUAL clippers). Been doing this for years and years. So easy and you can clean up the neck, too. I don’t think that dragging this device across the head makes sense, but 🤷🏻♀️
I didn't know those things were still out. I think the haircut looks great. Holding the scissors at the wrong way your pinky is supposed to go on that little hook turn them around
I just love your channel 💕♥️ love the different hairstyles you do so awesome you are my favourite on here compared to others you really show and take your time hello from British Columbia Canada ♥️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Andre has beautiful hair and the hair gadget made it look like his hair went through a shredder. I thought you would be able to cut straight across and the gadget cut in strange layers. Good thing your husband is good looking!
It wasn't the machine! It was the operator!!! 😩 You have to go up against the way the hair grows. NOT swiping it! You're just moving the hair NOT CUTTING IT! The only thing getting cut is the little bit that was accidentally done correctly moving up! Geez... 😩
Just proves that she’s not that great after all Lol 😂, anyone with common sense would know how to use clippers in an upwards motion Not dragging them sideways 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I never saw anyone cutting hair from side to side like that. Pretty sure you were losing it wrong. Knew people that used the Flowbee on themselves with good results.
Flowbee is so much better!! Also because it has tapering guards for sides too. You are supposed to go to the head, suck up the hair, it cuts it and you move on. It’s an up & down motion, not side ways.
Did you not read the directions on how to use these clippers? I'm sure you were suppose to go from bottom towards top like all clippers so the hair can enter the blades. You were going back and forth sidewise, not the way it could cut. This was a unfair product review. I guess if they are not being sold anymore it won't matter, yet in future make sure you follow directions so the product is tested fairly.
I would think if it's clippers inside you go from bottom to top like you would with clippers. Your only gonna take off so much going side to side over and over.... that's what I would think. Just being someone who uses clippers to cut hair.
Totally agree, I think she was using the thing the wrong way to start with, that’s why it was having that shredded effect and sound 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
1. The thinner the hair, the better the results. 2. I set it at the longest needed cutting setup first and don’t bother with extra angled adapters, then instead angle the cutter itself so one side is always lifted up away from the head and the closer side follows it cutting it to the final desired cut. Otherwise, it will struggle and pull hairs. It’s similar to when I mow tall grass. I lift the front end to cut shorter bits off first and the backend finishes the cut to the desired height. It can’t handle more than a 1/4-1/2” cut without pulling or bogging down.
We have another brand and your supposed to bounce it around the head and not pull it. That’s probably why it hurt. Not sure if your brand is different. We’ve been doing my husband’s hair this way for years. His hair looks nice.
I used to use the Robocut but the blades dull really easily. On the bright side, I have Cerebral Palsy and it lets me cut my own hair for the first time.
I think the word you are looking for is frayed. It’s because it is cutting the hair in a circular motion and blowing the hair inward (also probably not sharp) cutting at a diagonal whereas scissors or sheers will cut at a straight edge. It would be similar as cutting like a flame thrower but without the flames lol
I think for a college kids, not looking for perfection, would be very popular. I thought you were being way too careful…i would hv swirl it around all over... BTW, i heard George Cloney still uses flowbee to cut his hair.
I have been using this for 20 years. She is holding it incorrectly when doing the left side. With the angle attachment you need to hold the unit at 12-6 o'clock at all times. She was doing the right side at 12-6 but the left side at 10-4. This made the shorter end of the angle ride up higher instead of staying level with right side. I'm about to order the "new" model because mine is so old, the replacement blades are obsolete.
I got the new one a few months ago and the plastic on the spiral blade already broke in 3 places with just one of the 4 arms holding it together. So, I now have a new blade on order but don’t think it will be worth it now.
I smiled the whole time watching this! Milana, you are stunning in this video! Andre, you made me laugh when you asked yourself why you were still looking in the mirror 😂 I just adore the both of you... I love your channel!
Someone correct me if I am wrong (about the 1/2" I mention below) because I am just going from memory. I have RoboCut Bumble Bee vacuum clippers that look just like the clippers in this video. The weakest point in the RoboCut Bumble Bee system is that the blade motor is too weak, which is certainly the reason the owner's manual says to avoid cutting more than 1/2" of hair at a time. I have damaged two of those motors, and am on my third Bumble Bee system, which I stopped using about three years ago.
When watching this, all I wanted to say was Milana please stop!!! I agree with everyone why was she going horizontally ( may in the instruction). She completely missed up Andre's previous hair cut and the line. At least Andrea was a good sport about it. This product reminded me of the hand held tool that had the loopy wires at the end. You could shave your legs and it was suppose to be better than waxing!!!😂🤣
I bought a similar device during covid and after only one use, I sold it. Hated the result and my hair was all uneven. I hate spending $70 for a haircut but I can’t do it on myself. I also have a Wahl clipper and that doesn’t work either. I’m definitely not a good hairdresser.
As a clipper type hair product I wouldn’t of used the clippers in a sideways angle for starters, when using clippers you usually go in an upwards motion the opposite direction to the hair growth, just from previous experience working in a hair salon, Andrea is a Brave Man Lol 😂 lucky it was his hair you tried it out on and not Jackie’s Lol 😂, very gimmicky, I wouldn’t even use it on my little fur baby and it’s something that would scare a kid for Life getting their haircut Lol 😂 with the noise it made.
You: "It's cutting it, but it's kinda doing a weird job. --- Also You: Holding the machine at weird, awkward angles, that in no way go with the flow of the natural cut.
Yes you should of went up and down for hair cut . I have the flowbee works great. Up and down and you put the length adapters on that u want. When I finish haircut I used my sons side burn trimmer’s to shape/ trim the bottom of hair length and behind ears . Looks like a professional . You just didn’t use your correctly.
The Flowbee in the 80’s did the same thing. Why on earth are you going side to side with it? They’re still clippers, it can’t cut correctly with you swiping randomly in a horizontal motion. Bottom to top.
My husband keeps asking me to cut his hair; it terrifies me to do it! He shrugs and says if it doesn’t turn out, he’ll just shave his head!!!!! No no no, it’s bad enough I do my poor dogs hair. She most always looks a little rag-a-muffiny, lol
She is not using the Robocut properly. Here is Robocut's inventor showing how to properly use it... ua-cam.com/video/EMvnu2XATqg/v-deo.html Sliding it around the head keeping it on the skull like the hairdresser here will more catch & pull the hair kind of tearing it instead of clean sharp cuts. Up and down motions to points all over the head is recommended. The company also recommends only taking off 1/2" at at time. Attempting to cut of longer portion of hair than that will see tearing of the hair & may clog up the blade even to the point of stoppage.
I've used the older Robocut for nearly 30 years without any issues whatsoever. Yes, I keep my hair short, so I wouldn't use it for longer hair, but this woman is obviously a newbie and doesn't understand how to use it correctly.
You didn't pay attention to the angle on the part that makes contact with his head. The longer side results in longer hair. The short side goes at the very base of the head where you want the hair the shortest. The video kind of demonstrates how foolproof this concept is that you didn't utterly ruin his hair. Also, there's absolutely no need for a cape with the Robocut. All the hair goes into the vacuum, unless you use scissors. Skip the scissors. The hair should be very clean to cut neatly, with any kind of blade. If you want to make a video about something, start by reading the instructions and get some practice. This is a demo of what not to do.

Mila should buy a Flowbee and review it! Bring back the Flowbee, even George Clooney uses one.
I was confused as to why you dragged it horizontally instead of vertically.
me too!

So much this! I mean come on...
Me too! It made no sense!
Poor André, he’s such a good sport
Next time try going in an upwards motion, instead of side to side. That might help with it being more even! 💛
I cut my hubby’s hair with the same brand of electric clippers that I use for my dog (not the same ACTUAL clippers). Been doing this for years and years. So easy and you can clean up the neck, too. I don’t think that dragging this device across the head makes sense, but 🤷🏻♀️

Good thing your husband is good looking!
And a good sport about it!!😂🤣
Do the instructions say to go sideways?
My thoughts exactly. You would think up-and-down strokes would work better.
Reminds me of the flowbee. Hope it goes well
It wasn't the machine! It was the operator!!! 😩

Try going from the bottom up. That’s how we do clippers in the salon
I nearly jumped out of the bed when Andre jumped!
I like the CombPal for cutting my husbands and the Creaclip for cutting mine.
Same! Recently I hot glued popsicle sticks to the tips of the comb pal for desired length and did a solid 90 degree cut!
I never saw anyone cutting hair from side to side like that. Pretty sure you were losing it wrong. Knew people that used the Flowbee on themselves with good results.

Maybe she should read some of the comments on How to Use this device and respond to Those that know The Right Way to use Clippers Lol 😂
Frayed is a word I'd use. Like grass after using a dull lawn mower blade.
I would think if it's clippers inside you go from bottom to top like you would with clippers. Your only gonna take off so much going side to side over and over.... that's what I would think. Just being someone who uses clippers to cut hair.

Milana good job, you’re like a barber, so professional 😄
1. The thinner the hair, the better the results. 2. Try these clippers from Remington. It’s what I have.
Remington HKVAC2000A Vacuum Haircut Kit, Vacuum Beard Trimmer, Hair Clippers for Men (18 pieces)
We have another brand and your supposed to bounce it around the head and not pull it. That’s probably why it hurt. Not sure if your brand is different. We’ve been doing my husband’s hair this way for years. His hair looks nice.
This was so cute! Love it!! I think it worked pretty well…🤷🏻♀️
I used to use the Robocut but the blades dull really easily. On the bright side, I have Cerebral Palsy and it lets me cut my own hair for the first time.
Funny, we had these in the 80's and 90's. I think my mom used them only a few times on my brother and then they went to the thrift store 😅
They called it a Flow Bee, I used it on my husband and son.
The Flowbe!
Maybe if you used the comb to pick up the hair first and then ran the blower over it ? In an upward movement? I dunno
Poor Andrey 😀such a cooperative client 😀

I know it's just hair.
I would've been scared..
I think for a college kids, not looking for perfection, would be very popular. I thought you were being way too careful…i would hv swirl it around all over... BTW, i heard George Cloney still uses flowbee to cut his hair.
Yea I also feel that up and down not sideways.
Do the Flowbee!! Love your videos!
Your videos also helpful
Maybe try a flowbee next time!
I believe because it is going in a circular motion. Wahl is good
He’s got a “gouge” right in the middle at the bottom!😆
oh yeah...side to side, youtube certified
The concept probably works but you need to go upwards, not side to side. Use it like Clippers
Milana, look up ''Flowbee''. You may be using them wrong?
I have been using this for 20 years. She is holding it incorrectly when doing the left side. With the angle attachment you need to hold the unit at 12-6 o'clock at all times. My hubs has George Clooney’s OG version he used during Covid.
Always remember that it’s just hair. Men can get their hair done more often because of how short they keep it. If you mess up, it’ll grow back.
He will probably need couple of good hair cuts to undo this one!!😂🤣
Thankfully it doesn't take much off at a time so the cut can be fixed, lol.
Someone correct me if I am wrong (about the 1/2" I mention below) because I am just going from memory. I have RoboCut Bumble Bee vacuum clippers that look just like the clippers in this video. It reminds me of the Flowbee.
Yeah, those are a no go.
A new version of the Floobee ,did the same thing, was an in thing in the seventies
Is her jacket just setting weird or are they going for round 3?????

Oh this makes a hairstylist of 38 yrs VERY nervous LOL
Flowbee
that end situation is happen with a razor blade cut in the wrong angel as well
You: "It's cutting it, but it's kinda doing a weird job. --- Also You: Holding the machine at weird, awkward angles, that in no way go with the flow of the natural cut.
Modern-day Flowbee
Nothing like the flowbee system that is still made to this day
The blades in that clipper are not sharp enough. It probably frayed his hair ends.
Naaah both sides look crappy to me sorry! Time for an appointment Andrey ✂️
Modern flowbee??? Ha!

It’s almost like it gave him split ends
This is too funny…

Sorry for the spell correct. The word in my last comment should have been "using" not "losing".

You using it wrong. You are off 90º. Poor video.
I wouldn't buy this thing. LOL sorry, but it is useless; there are other tools that really work and clean the neck.
Did you oil the blades before you started like the instructions say?
Ok, well he has a V in the back now, but maybe he can start a new trend. 😀
