Hello dear IWTL ! Just finished watching this Early Impressions Video and I loved it! It was VERY informative about most of what I wanted to know about Xilonen. I had just watched Zy0x's Xilonen Video *released 3 hours ago* and I found it to be severely lacking just from having Read her full Kit & Constellations! _(Lacking is a polite way to say it sucked, and really bad! Partly because it's sorely lacking in just about every Aspect he covered and didn't cover!),_ He didn't even touch on Xilonen's Damage Output Potential, and the meat of the Video being discussing her Support Capabilities (Buffs & RES Shred) in different Team types was just awful... *He didn't get Early Access, so he built his Video on what other Genshin UA-camrs have said as well as Clips from them, and even then, it sucked more than it should have...!* _(There's also the huge Elephant in the room: Using other people's work, WITHOUT CREDITING THEM, to try and make a mix of what other people's (who worked hard) Conclusions were (although here, it seems like he didn't even take those into consideration much, otherwise he'd have done a better Video!), AND his own interpretation of what he gathered through his pilfering, an interpretation that just was below par and not very representative of what the subjects he was talking about!)_ When you don't know what you're talking about, whatever your reasons are _(he had a great, legitimate excuse for not knowing much about Xilonen, since he didn't even Play her due to having missed the Early Access... only makes it worse though),_ even if it's very tempting to Publish a Video to appease the Almighty Algorithm God, *you simply shut it and wait until you've gathered enough Info & Experience, aka done your Research, to know what you're talking about before making a Video talking about a Character, evaluating it!!!* I mean... It's just Basic Common Sense! 🤦 I'm going to watch your new Video going more in-depth about Xilonen, and I already know that it'll be Top Notch Material, as always! Stumbling upon sh¡tty Videos from lazy people like this only makes me appreciate your Quality Content even more! Thanks!

What does chiori do? I tried her for the first time in the theater. And seemed really niche to me, like the DMG is not that high considering the short "showtime" of her. I would appreciate if u guys say the reason why u even want her

And even more so a must pull for new players since even at low AR you can still somewhat balance her Crit Ratio cause of the new artifact set from natlan
Just the fact that Xilonen can skate on any terrain including climbing mountains and that she's a DJ makes me really like her, and that liking increases when she's STRONG 🔥
Xilonen is just perfect : -amazing design -great movements -satisfying gameplay -can be used as dps or support -neutral element, perfect for support -and no need to say extremely powerfull she can litteraly be used anywhere with anyone, 10/10 character
@@tamas9554 Some people believe their characters become useless at some point, so they want to have characters who do not become useless later, and they call it future proofing. Now to their credit, some games are like that, but it's been clear now that Genshin is for casuals, and if the game is still too hard and you can't get good, just lower the World Level, it's been the case for 4 years now, but somehow they still don't get it.
At first I just wanted her because she looks like a viable healer for my Mualani team. I'm bad at the game, so I need a healer on my team. I'd pull for her even if healing was the only thing she provided. But the fact that she's an amazing buffer and incredibly hot on top of it is just amazing!
Xilonen to Kazuha like Yelan to Xingqiu. At first, some may say she's a power creep. But she's more like an alternative. And better yet, some of their best teams are teams where they can be used in together.
She doesnt powercreep anybody, she dont give em, so in teams for vapes, melts or another team which requiere more em more dmg she IS not the BEST, kazuha still the BEST, but the fact that she can be pair with kazuha to make more dmg, IS incredible
I appreciate that IWin2Lose showcased Xilonen as a main DPS as I feel that playstyle will be underappreciated by the majority of the player base. Definitely seems alot closer to Itto in power than I expected!
My ping is around 160-180ms, and i find jenshin barely playable at above 200ms. Every action is delayed by half a second or more, this leads to all sorts of glitches: teleporting enemies, attacks not connecting, reactions triggering randomly...
U don't need to creat any reaction to trigger her def shred to elements, its just automatically activating after 2 her attacks for elements what in your party
@@greenvega The res shred no, but you still need to trigger double crystallize for the set tho If you don't trigger double crystallize, let's say in Arlecchino Yelan teams, she'll shred for both elements, but the 40% dmg from natlan set will only go for the element you crystallize with and you don't want that, to be at kazuha's level in this team you NEED to do double crystallize
@@pedrohodl You need to burst to do double crystalise as it has global 1s CD. And it will be very hard to do, might as well just make sure to buff the main element

Because the set needs you to be at Nightsoul Blessing to activate the 28% dmg part, which means you cannot swap or use Q before E or after N2 (because it ends the state). Great video as always. For teams where she's taking the support role I think you should show a comparison between teams without Xilonen and teams with her. It's kind of hard to tell what she's doing for those teams without a baseline to compare it to.

The early impression which isn't a guide, the in-depth guide, the more specific guide like weapon comparison, and sometimes showcase videos. You are too early to be wanting the see the numbers. Even though he already put some disclaimer that this isnt a guide, he should really put much more disclaimer for viewers who are too quick to judge like you. If you want to see numbers, just look at his recent in-depth guide about Kinich. He is still doing calculative numbers just not in an early impression videos like this, since the numbers could still change after the official release.
When doing the full showcase, plz show her vs kazuha (pro and con) and also what the team dmg with and without her so we can see her impact more clearly.
Man, those people who keep saying kazuha powercreep are just delusional, she doenst replace him, she literally play with him in every of his/her teams besides geo teams that's alternative not powercreep. And when the most annoying and difficult abyss enemies will come back (abyssal mages, lectors and the new wayob mobs), they will be suprised by her ranking because geo is useless against them So yeah, she doesnt powercreep anyone, she is simply the best, and ofc most awaited geo buffer in the game. @@hansjiang373 Mualani already is relative or out dps' Neuvi and Arle in several comparisons. yes, out dps not just bursts as she has had faster abyss times. Kinich also has powercrept several other dps' especially with cons and these are just the first two 5 stars in this region. Each with significantly higher multipliers than before.

Comfort, consistency, flexibility matters too. Why do u think zhongli is highly rated despite being dmg loss? Also for a lot of ppl mualani and kinich both are clunky. @axelblaze4088 Yes my entire argument is they are comfortable and that is what majority look for most. This is how majority valuate characters. Ppl don't always look who is outdmging who. It is objective she does more dmg but it's not subjective what genshin meta is. It is also objective that genshin meta does not look for who does most dmg. Like I said- lyney already did it in fontaine. And I also said- zhongli is highly rated despite being dmg loss. Just cuz she makes up by having more dmg isn't rlly gonna cut it. Cuz ppl want more qols in kit. Speedrunning is niche af. As long as they get conformable clears, that's the end. Mualani despite having big numbers isn't providing what ppl look for. Also it's like known day 1 neuv release- why he is considered best and yes its not dmg or clear times. The small qols helps a lot too for a lot of ppl. By majority, she would be a powerceep by now if she had this dmg while having self heal, AoE loke neuv and flexibility to work in multiple teams and a brain dead playstyle.
i love that the first related combat segment is just the great amount of dmg she can make while being a support (atp it would be kind of like a hybrid unit?)
It's time to laugh again at all the people that were saying that Natlan characters look average or boring. They have no idea about character design, and once again they are proven wrong.
All natlen characters have been very underwhelming to me. and overworld exploration outside of the fire nation is rough here praying for future characters
i think the natlan movement mechanics are quite refreshing for such an old game. i've already explored all the older areas so don't really need to explore outside natlan. might be a bit hard to adjust again when the next region is released, but i'm sure i'll get over it quickly as i enjoy their next gimmick
Shes an upgrade over kazuha in a lot of teams because of her uptime and double or even tripple elemental resistant shredding plus she enables furina where kazuha doesnt
@@semheim Agreed.Kazuha deals more dmg and has grouping, but many enemies and bosses can't be grouped anyway. Healing and Furina synergy is more valuable. And having the option to main dps at C0 is nice
I don’t even have neuvillette, arlecchino, navia, maulani, clorinde, hu tao, and most of fontaine characters. I only have furina for a fontaine 5-star character and still no natlan characters except for the free one. But, I’ll still pull for xilonen, I guess. I’m investing horizontally so I’ll pull more characters in the future. Anyway, never had huge problems in the abyss 😁
Nah don't like the furry ears and tails. She would look way better without them. Also y'all overhyping her a bit her traversal and combat is average or above average at best. Not something that makes her a MUST PULL

For anemo i have C6 faruzan C0 wanderer. For geo I do have Navia zhongli and xilonen will come too. In simple words I'm not gonna just pull tons of C0 characters and do same boring 100K dmg like most of the players does and says abyss is casual i want to go beyond with my investment with characters and future cryo archon too
1:58 thank you mr. IWLT editor for correcting that, she is, indeed, based on an ocelot, easy to confuse but many are keeping the mistake. Her name and design are based on a goddess of corn from aztec mythology. Btw, her name is pronounced "she-LOH-nen" (do note that is LOH, not LOW and the emphasis on that syllable) ...you got it pretty close tho. Now that we are getting an amazing geo support, i wonder what will the role of Chiori be.
So, she is a mix between Cougar, Leopardus (Ocelot), and Panthera (Onca). She has references in her style, and in the constelation. We have the three types in soouth america. She has the Puma/Ocelot in her E, she has the Onca Stains, and Ocelot in her style (and has the Panthera name in her constelation, and ocelot too).
As a mexican i can confirm you pronounced it almost correctly, "shilónen" since its nahuatl (mexica/aztec) it is actually the name of a mexica goddess, YES, SHE IS MEXICAN, NO BRAZILIAN. Just like citlali (mexica) and kinich (maya).
Maybe. But I think she's more brazilian tho. She's almost a female version of Lucio from Overwatch. Exactly the same vibe. Her moveset in combat is also very similar to Capoeira. A brazilian fight/dance. Maybe the creators mixed the both cultures to concept her.
xilonen in the neuvillette team is not necessary if you already have zhongli. Zhongli on archaic gives 35% dmg bonus to elements participating in crystallize and his sheild shreds nearby opponents res by 20%. xilonen on the new set will give 40% dmg bonus and 33/36 res shred at lvl 9/10 talent. I did the calculations and the dmg increase was not incredible; a slight 10-13% increase. If you are on C0 neuvillette u also might lose dps due to interruption without zhongli. But this only applies for the neuvillette team. She is kazuha but geo, without the crowd controls but with longer duration on buffs and debuffs.
Now put double the uptime vs archaic (4 chargeds buffed vs 2 chargeds) + not shard reliant + the heal for early furina stacks and neuvi's a4 passive always at max and you get more than 20% increase
@@pedrohodlmy response was all things considered. Furina buffs, kazuha buff, vv shred and so on. It was disappointing for me bc I was also excited for this line up
I've been saving for Mavuika since 2 patches ago to try and guarantee at least a c0 (I've won my last 3 50/50s, but that luck can't last forever!). Xilonen is reeeeaaally testing my resolve. Gotta stay strong!
Finally the Neuvillette buff we needed. Of course he still isn’t good enough, now Mihoyo just need to make Mavuika replace Xilonen in this team to make Neuvillette actually playable
Ok her mobility already had me interested. But her being a healer is a big win. I have c6 Itto and c6 Chiori. Now i will finally have an alternative to Gorou so i can run two teams without one feeling gimped.
Let’s see how useful she is in exploration OUTSIDE of Natlan 🙄 If I were to pull for her, I’d wait til the very last moment of her banner, honestly… Resistance shred? I’ve got Kazuha and Zhongli. Heal? I’ve got Kokomi and many others. Geo support for whatever reason? Zhongli. What would I really need her for? I don’t have Navia so that’s that. Also, Kachina, even though she’s slower, can climb the walls with her twirly thingy.. 🤷🏼♂️ Just give me ONE reason 😅
Yea her exploration is pretty meh outside natlan. Worse than yelan horizontally and for vertically- almost same as kirara. Wish they made exploration of every natlan characters decent outside natlan. U can go for her if u need a kazuha 2.0, but since u are perfectly fine with zhongli and kokomi anyway- no need to.
@@I_Don_Like_ no, outside natlan she is identical to C0 yelan. Yelan lasts 3sec, xilonen 2sec but xilonen is faster so they are equal, and they have equal downtime. For climbing she will be the best in the game (for now).
A reliable leaker say Mavuika has Land, Water, and Climbing which might make her the best exploration character, but don't hold your breath since it's subject to change.
It's like asking a Fontaine character outside furina to be good at swimming outside Fontaine...like c'mon girl you know very well they are focused on giving good exploration for their own nation...
Okay but why do you have to pull a limited character to make Genshin's exploration better when Wuthering Waves has "Xilonen's wall running" as part of the base movement of every character?
I've been waiting for so long for a geo healer that is not Noelle one maid team the whole fight (I don't need her to heal a lot, I do take advantage of crystalize, but I do need a geo that heals)
i really appreciate your videos, but it's hard to measure her value add when she's in groups with your primary DPS' best support classes (Furina and Kazuha for the neuvillette). I would love to see a video of just her and the primary dps (e.g. you do one instance with neuvillette doing straight damage and then one with just neuvillette and xilonen, and then a full rotation). I'm sure this is what you plan to do when you release the full vid, i just wanted to give my two cents as i've seen a couple of early access with the same groups.

Healer, buffer, makes exploration super easy and low substats requirements. I mean she a must pull.

My ping is around 160-180ms, and i find jenshin barely playable at above 200ms. Every action is delayed by half a second or more, this leads to all sorts of glitches: teleporting enemies, attacks not connecting, reactions triggering randomly...

If you don't trigger double crystallize, let's say in Arlecchino Yelan teams, she'll shred for both elements, but the 40% dmg from natlan set will only go for the element you crystallize with and you don't want that, to be at kazuha's level in this team you NEED to do double crystallize

I'll share my testings:
- As you said, it's mandatory to use Q for double crystallize, E N2 only works if you wait 1s to N1
- The ONLY configuration of E, N2 and Q to activate BOTH 40% dmg bonus is E Q N2 or E N1 Q N1
Why? Because the set needs you to be at Nightsoul Blessing to activate the 28% dmg part, which means you cannot swap or use Q before E or after N2 (because it ends the state).
Q, swap, E N2 = 12% dmg 1st element, 40% dmg 2nd element
Q E N2 = 12% dmg 1st element, 40% dmg 2nd element (this specific rotation and results you can test it now with Kachina at c0 or c1, at c2 she enter the state with her burst)
E N2 Q = 40% dmg 1st element, 12% dmg 2nd element
E N2, swap, Q = 40% dmg 1st element, 12% dmg 2nd element
- I've already test it with Navia as placeholder (E with no ICD, geo infused N2 and only the initial hit of her burst) with Arlecchino Furina and Arlecchino Yelan
The rotations that worked are:
- Arlecchino E > Yelan QE > Bennett EQ (strong pyro aura) > Xilonen E (pyro crystal) N1 (hydro aura) Q (hydro crystal) N1 > Arlecchino combo
- Arlecchino E > Furina E dash Q > Bennett Q hE (c4) (pyro aura) > Xilonen E (pyro crystal) Q (hydro aura during burst animation -> hydro crystal) N2 > Arlecchino combo
Great video as always. For teams where she's taking the support role I think you should show a comparison between teams without Xilonen and teams with her. It's kind of hard to tell what she's doing for those teams without a baseline to compare it to.

Even though he already put some disclaimer that this isnt a guide, he should really put much more disclaimer for viewers who are too quick to judge like you. If you want to see numbers, just look at his recent in-depth guide about Kinich. He is still doing calculative numbers just not in an early impression videos like this, since the numbers could still change after the official release.

Kinich also has powercrept several other dps' especially with cons and these are just the first two 5 stars in this region. Each with significantly higher multipliers than before.

I don’t even have neuvillette, arlecchino, navia, maulani, clorinde, hu tao, and most of fontaine characters. I only have furina for a fontaine 5-star character and still no natlan characters except for the free one. But, I’ll still pull for xilonen, I guess. I’m investing horizontally so I’ll pull more characters in the future. Anyway, never had huge problems in the abyss 😁

So, she is a mix between Cougar, Leopardus (Ocelot), and Panthera (Onca). She has references in her style, and in the constelation. We have the three types in soouth america. She has the Puma/Ocelot in her E, she has the Onca Stains, and Ocelot in her style (and has the Panthera name in her constelation, and ocelot too).

xilonen in the neuvillette team is not necessary if you already have zhongli. Zhongli on archaic gives 35% dmg bonus to elements participating in crystallize and his sheild shreds nearby opponents res by 20%. xilonen on the new set will give 40% dmg bonus and 33/36 res shred at lvl 9/10 talent. I did the calculations and the dmg increase was not incredible; a slight 10-13% increase. If you are on C0 neuvillette u also might lose dps due to interruption without zhongli. But this only applies for the neuvillette team. She is kazuha but geo, without the crowd controls but with longer duration on buffs and debuffs.
Now put double the uptime vs archaic (4 chargeds buffed vs 2 chargeds) + not shard reliant + the heal for early furina stacks and neuvi's a4 passive always at max and you get more than 20% increase

@@I_Don_Like_ no, outside natlan she is identical to C0 yelan. Yelan lasts 3sec, xilonen 2sec but xilonen is faster so they are equal, and they have equal downtime. For climbing she will be the best in the game (for now).
A reliable leaker say Mavuika has Land, Water, and Climbing which might make her the best exploration character, but don't hold your breath since it's subject to change.
It's like asking a Fontaine character outside furina to be good at swimming outside Fontaine...like c'mon girl you know very well they are focused on giving good exploration for their own nation...

i really appreciate your videos, but it's hard to measure her value add when she's in groups with your primary DPS' best support classes (Furina and Kazuha for the neuvillette). I would love to see a video of just her and the primary dps (e.g. you do one instance with neuvillette doing straight damage and then one with just neuvillette and xilonen, and then a full rotation). I'm sure this is what you plan to do when you release the full vid, i just wanted to give my two cents as i've seen a couple of early access with the same groups.
