People are still confused how VV set can shred elemental resist. I have done a test on my own and it seems kazuha doesnt really swirl an element that is not an "aura" on an enemy. Hydro tulpa, hypostasis, thundering manefestation. slimes have permanent elemental Aura which cannot be overriden. I tested getting a pyro resistance shred on thundering manifestation using 2 teams, kazuha bennet combo and chevreuse overload shred. And it turns out that pyro infused kazuha burst from bennet does not shred pyro resistance on thundering manifestation compared to chevreuse overload shredding which forces the pyro shred on it even if it has a permanent electro aura. here i recorded my test on thundering manifestation, same thing with tulpa but easier to test on. ua-cam.com/video/kizLUfcxyks/v-deo.html It seems people still dont get the swirl shredding mechanics of this game all this time which is 1. Nobody mentioned this but i realized something about Xilonen. Now you can reduce an elemental resistance that cannot be swirled with Xilonen. For example, you can never swirl pyro on hydro tulpa so it wont have pyro res shred but now with Xilonen, Hydro tulpa can have its pyro resistance shred. She elevated PECH characters a whole new level against unswirlable targets

As a day 1 wuwa player who also loves genshin, I can objectively say that both genshin and wuwa have borrowed from the so-called "dead game" quite often xD (or did you really think Arlecchino was the first fire character to wield a huge scythe? or that zhezhi was the first to essentially paint enemies to death while midair? lol) Note: This isn't a criticism. Lol why have to compete if one can collaborate. It's just like that xingqiu and yelan case again. Why not use doubly hydro with both of them especially in a hutao team. same with kazuha and xilonen. Combine them together to unleash a powerful PECH boost
Xilo: Natlan exploration > C1 Yelan + Furina synergy + VV + Cinder City -grouping, -personal dmg Kazu: can jump midair + VV + Cinder City + grouping + deceptive swirl dmg -healing Main difficulties for both - Xilo: Cannot be used comfortably in Mono Geo which would otherwise enjoy her unless at c2. You inherently lose out on grouping because all of our current good groupers are Anemo VV-ers and using both is redundant outside of like NeuviRina and ArleBennett Kazu: EM mainstats are the rarest and he wants 3 and VV kind of sucks in terms of resin efficiency nowadays. Uptime on his VV is half of Xilo's which makes him worse with long fieldtime carries.
Yeah. That's a very good explanation ig. And for people who don't have either... Cinder City is an artefact set on equal footing with VV when it comes to buffing capabilities. Using Cinder City character and VV character will greatly help with getting somewhat similar levels of buffa
I don't know, like something about this character tells me that I don't need her. I already have a good Kazuha and Jean and Baizhu, and MAYBE she will have a good use in the Ayaka-Shenhe-Furina pack, but since I don't have Shenhe, I can place Charlotte and Kazuha in the slot. Like, this is the only premium pack where she will perform really well. But still, to play freeze without grouping? I don't know where else to put her.
Xilonen is kind of poggers for Keqing aggrivate. The previous comp was Keqing/Fischl/Kazuha/Nahida and by slotting her over Kazuha you get a healer, more consistent resistance shred (Kazuha has problems swirling with Nahida's Dendro app), and if you have C2 on Xilonen you can double or tripple burst on Keqing since it brings her Burst CD to 6s which is wild (of note Keqing burst CD starts ticking immediately on cast, not after animation).
Kazuha's personal damage is considerably higher than Xilonen in aggravate team though, also C2 Kazuha gives an extra 200 em buff which is also good for aggravate, the only meaningful upside Xilonen provides over Kazuha is the heal.
Kazuha for grouping and more dmg, that Keqing appreciates more. If I want sustain, I still can bring 4pc Petra Zhongli and still does similar dmg with 0 interruption. Not really a poggers tbh, until you pull C2 Xilonen for fast burst

Maaaan RIP my only use for Chiori in my Navia Furina Bennet team. Well I guess I can still use if Xilonen is on the other team. Would have been happier if either she didn't buff Geo at all, or was able to activate her skill with 3 Geo too. Then I would have totally kicked out Bennet. But now after 4 years Chiori might be the first limited 5 star I have that is not the best for any team. It's Chiover, sadge
Well, I believe our little four star, or rather, the Natlan artifact set she can fully utilize, already outperformed C0 Chiori with Navia. That construct clause really tanked Chiori hard, and even with the condition met, she is underpowered before C2. Same issue Yae suffers from, really (even with Aggravate in the picture). I'll still be using my Chiori with Navia, though, or rather, my Navia with Chiori. But that's because of constellations. With the right ones, dynamics change quite a bit.
@@faceless58 i didn't really count maindps like Klee since you build a team around them, not the other way around. or at leasts thats how I prefer to go about it. Looking back there aren't actually that many limited pure supports so they unsurprisingly all have a best use in my teams. I do still use almost every character in most Abyss including maindps, but obviously some are better than others for that. Klee I don't get around to either that often, maybe every 3 new enemy resets.
Xilonen and Chiori can be used together, even more so with Chiori C1. Double geo double PHEC cores would be readily available. Chiori still has mono geo.

@@ravenvoxx I personally would cuz Mavuika likely will come during 5.3 and considering the new map additions we would get, events, quests etc I believe you can save enough. Even more so if your previous regions are not fully 100% yet. I wasn't on guarantee and I still went for Xilonen, lost 50/50 and got her with 94 pulls total. Now I'm saving for Mavuika
I'm mostly pulling Xilonen to fit in with best girl Navia, but I'm absolutely going to try her in a DPS role on Obsidian Codex with Yelan, C6 Yunjin, and C6 Gorou on Hero of Cinder City (only 12% dmg bonus, but it's better than nothing, and he can use the energy.) She should actually hit pretty damn hard, and while she won't be giving Neuvilette a run for his money any time soon, the team just sounds so FUN. What an amazing character.
@@sentisenti3229 i mean thats what xilonen c2 does, 25 energ back with 6 second cooldown reducing makes him able to continously get his ult quicker with less energy requirement and increases his dmg with her res shred ability that does not need elemental reaction
Great video and great guide, I just have one small critique: when going over the team comps maybe speak the characters in each team youre using. I sometimes like to listen to the guide without watching as I’m doing other things on the side, and I don’t think I’m the only one, so saying exactly who’s in each team really helps. why are new characters so good now? I remember when Inazuma came out and characters like Kokomi and Thoma had to wait for a long time to find their niche.
Honestly, it's because there's so many characters released now as opposed to back then, so it's easier to find a team that works with new characters as opposed to back in 2.0.

As a somewhat newer (5 months) f2p player, I have none of those chars shown in those teams -.- Right now I pretty much only use Yanfei for pyro application and then EM-Lisa for overload. Only switching between those two and using Barbara to heal maybe.
F2p here as well, in my experience an f2p account starts kicking in some good teams only about 1 year in, maybe even a year and half, and only if you plan your pulls carefully. My best advice: stick to max 2-4 main dps characters and instead prioritise OP supports.
Just focus building the original national team and your good no need to follow meta get the elite 4 bennet xianling xinqiu chonyun and you good pulling for 5 star is just bonus
@@grimreaper3576 Chongyun is not an elite 4 star in the slightest, the original 4 star power five were Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Fischl, Sucrose, now you can probably add Chevreuse, Kuki Shinobu, Yaoyao, C6 Faruzan, maybe some others.
Regardless of how viable it is, I absolutely love that they made her able to play as a dps for the people who like her to the point of wanting to give her more on-field time
A disclaimer though, i'm not assuming that Xilonen is a bad character, actually i'm going to get her myself. I just love to watch dummies arguing the pointless char vs char arguments lmao.
I think for Clorinde Kazuha is still better, she doesn't need healing and her damage cycle is short enough for VV to cover. Also Kazuha does a lot more damage than Xilonen in Clorinde aggravate team.

I just realized that mualani on 10:01 cleared on 10:18, which is 17 secs, and she only use 2 ⭐5 Star. whereas neuv started on 10:43 completed on 11:13, which is 30secs and with Full 4 ⭐5 stars. Truly a powercreep of all time.

Kazuha damage is very similar. Plus he also has Incredible grouping.. What changes is that Xilonen can buff 3 whole elements at once. And her Sig is broken.
Fontaine was supposed to be the region that is technologically advanced, but then they introduced these characters in Natlan with 8bit design and a DJ roller skater. Kinda illogical now. Am not a fan of it.
No one notice that calculation for Xilonen skill is wrong, the reason why there a sudden increase to 57.7% because she triggers her arti scroll of hero which give 40% of dmg.

Xilonen is kind of poggers for Keqing aggrivate. The previous comp was Keqing/Fischl/Kazuha/Nahida and by slotting her over Kazuha you get a healer, more consistent resistance shred (Kazuha has problems swirling with Nahida's Dendro app), and if you have C2 on Xilonen you can double or tripple burst on Keqing since it brings her Burst CD to 6s which is wild (of note Keqing burst CD starts ticking immediately on cast, not after animation).
The healing is good, but you should still be trying to crystallize electro for the SotH set buff.
Kazuha's personal damage is considerably higher than Xilonen in aggravate team though, also C2 Kazuha gives an extra 200 em buff which is also good for aggravate, the only meaningful upside Xilonen provides over Kazuha is the heal.
I will appreciate grouping more in this team, then healing, if it’s not for boss tho.
Kazuha for grouping and more dmg, that Keqing appreciates more. If I want sustain, I still can bring 4pc Petra Zhongli and still does similar dmg with 0 interruption.

Xilonen looks a sidegrade except from healing. What really make some difference is support kinich.

@@jettsteel7305 Emily doesn't buff burning nor does she buff kinich, instead she gains a buff from the burning reaction hence she's played mostly as a sub dps even on kinich teams. Only through her cons can she provide a buff and thats kinda expensive for most players.

Would have been happier if either she didn't buff Geo at all, or was able to activate her skill with 3 Geo too. Then I would have totally kicked out Bennet.
But now after 4 years Chiori might be the first limited 5 star I have that is not the best for any team. It's Chiover, sadge
Well, I believe our little four star, or rather, the Natlan artifact set she can fully utilize, already outperformed C0 Chiori with Navia. That construct clause really tanked Chiori hard, and even with the condition met, she is underpowered before C2. Same issue Yae suffers from, really (even with Aggravate in the picture).
I'll still be using my Chiori with Navia, though, or rather, my Navia with Chiori. But that's because of constellations. With the right ones, dynamics change quite a bit.

@@faceless58 i didn't really count maindps like Klee since you build a team around them, not the other way around. or at leasts thats how I prefer to go about it.
Looking back there aren't actually that many limited pure supports so they unsurprisingly all have a best use in my teams.
I do still use almost every character in most Abyss including maindps, but obviously some are better than others for that. Klee I don't get around to either that often, maybe every 3 new enemy resets.
Xilonen and Chiori can be used together, even more so with Chiori C1. Double geo double PHEC cores would be readily available. Chiori still has mono geo.

@@ravenvoxx I personally would cuz Mavuika likely will come during 5.3 and considering the new map additions we would get, events, quests etc I believe you can save enough. Even more so if your previous regions are not fully 100% yet.
I wasn't on guarantee and I still went for Xilonen, lost 50/50 and got her with 94 pulls total. Now I'm saving for Mavuika
I'm mostly pulling Xilonen to fit in with best girl Navia, but I'm absolutely going to try her in a DPS role on Obsidian Codex with Yelan, C6 Yunjin, and C6 Gorou on Hero of Cinder City (only 12% dmg bonus, but it's better than nothing, and he can use the energy.) She should actually hit pretty damn hard, and while she won't be giving Neuvilette a run for his money any time soon, the team just sounds so FUN. What an amazing character.

Great video and great guide, I just have one small critique: when going over the team comps maybe speak the characters in each team youre using. I sometimes like to listen to the guide without watching as I’m doing other things on the side, and I don’t think I’m the only one, so saying exactly who’s in each team really helps. Thanks for showing how versatile she is though

As a somewhat newer (5 months) f2p player, I have none of those chars shown in those teams -.-
Right now I pretty much only use Yanfei for pyro application and then EM-Lisa for overload. Only switching between those two and using Barbara to heal maybe.
Same, i dont have any 5 stars besides Qiqi and Arlecchino
F2p here as well, in my experience an f2p account starts kicking in some good teams only about 1 year in, maybe even a year and half, and only if you plan your pulls carefully.
My best advice: stick to max 2-4 main dps characters and instead prioritise OP supports.
Just focus building the original national team and your good no need to follow meta get the elite 4 bennet xianling xinqiu chonyun and you good pulling for 5 star is just bonus
@@grimreaper3576 Chongyun is not an elite 4 star in the slightest, the original 4 star power five were Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Fischl, Sucrose, now you can probably add Chevreuse, Kuki Shinobu, Yaoyao, C6 Faruzan, maybe some others.

If I get her weapon my Neuv would do almost 100k dmg per tick
I think for Clorinde Kazuha is still better, she doesn't need healing and her damage cycle is short enough for VV to cover. Also Kazuha does a lot more damage than Xilonen in Clorinde aggravate team.

I just realized that mualani on 10:01 cleared on 10:18, which is 17 secs, and she only use 2 ⭐5 Star. whereas neuv started on 10:43 completed on 11:13, which is 30secs and with Full 4 ⭐5 stars.

After the Xilonen character trailer was released me and my brain was confused bc of how Casca and Xilonen seem to be working well together.
they wrote out a whole lore for a skill that could've been summed up with,
"colors light up, and you get that elemental res down on enemies" LOOOL
No one notice that calculation for Xilonen skill is wrong, the reason why there a sudden increase to 57.7% because she triggers her arti scroll of hero which give 40% of dmg.
