Fantastic video! So many great tips provided. The ritual is one of the key reasons why I smoke cigars. This is by far the best video I've seen on this topic. Your expertise and the time you took to help enhance our enjoyment of the ritual of cigar smoking is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
Today I applied the etiquette that you taught to my Gurkha Asura. It brought the cigar experience to a whole new level for me. I had already perfected my straight cut by watching your earlier videos. But now my entire cigar experience feels that much more refined. Gracious hermano❤
Incredible video! I'm thoroughly impressed by your detailed explanation of the nuances in cigar smoking, particularly your emphasis on the smell, taste, and strength of a cigar. The way you describe the aroma and the complexities of flavor in each puff truly captures the essence of a high-quality cigar experience. Also, your insights into understanding and appreciating the strength of different cigars is highly valuable for both novices and connoisseurs alike. This video is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to deepen their appreciation for the finer details of cigar smoking. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
Your enthusiasm for cigars and the stylish manner in which you present them serve as both inspiring and immensely beneficial as I venture into the world of cigars. While the lack of access to Cuban cigars here in Algeria poses a challenge, your guidance has been crucial in ensuring a positive introduction to this realm. Eagerly anticipating more of your insightful content!
Thank you my friend, your videos are phenomenal! You dress as a gentleman, smoke like a aficionado, and talk with charisma. That's why everyone watches. Happy New Year to you and yours, I'll smoke a cigar from you this morning
I just started to smoke few months ago but I really enjoy your passion when you talk about the cigar culture, looking forward for your next lesson, and I wish you only only success and good health in the new year🎉
Jasim, your articulation, knowledge and sophistication is incredible. Thank you for your work and dedication. Very much appreciated. Healthy and Happy New Year to you. Best, Stuart
My friend in the end it is the combustion gas that accumulate, you just have to purge the cigar to get rid of the bitterness and it will smoke brand new
I have been Hand Rolling cigars since age 13th , and smoking since age 15th. My grandfather (RHS) , was a Master Roller back in Puerto Rico . Cigar smoking have been transformed into this big Commercialized monster , that feeds from everyone that called themselves "Cigars Aficionados and Cigars Connoisseurs. There is no perfect nor a right way to smoke a cigar , but to smoke and enjoy a cigar. Throughout the years , People have invented certain smoking Etiquette and have granted themselves a non existence expertise. Everyone have the right to their own "Hustle " ...but with all due respect is all BS.. I see you have good game that attracts the general audience . Blessings!
An honor to recieve a message from you, I respect your opinion that everyone has their on right to hustle, with all due respect cigar etiquette is not BS as you mentioned , Cigars are created with lots of passion, hard work and dedication , it’s not simply cut n smoke but smoke with knowing what it is , it’s the same way how a person drink a 50 year old aged wine , whisky or rum in 1 second without enjoying the aroma, its richness and flavor profile, you got to experience it slowly and understand different layers of flavors,my interest in UA-cam is to educate and help cigar smokers to get the best out of their cigar journey and experience , make it memorable and satisfying in each puff, am not here to say you shouldn’t have your opinion but on the contrary I would like each cigar smoker to have their opinion and choices based on their taste n preferences , when I say smoke the cigar slowly and enjoy the aroma in each step is a way of lifestyle and enjoyment , you simply call it BS ….probably you are referring to non premium cigars and machine made cigarillos without proper way of blending n rolling the tobacco , what we are referring is Rich Culture of Premium Cigars , it’s like the food, some eat to fill the stomach and others eat with love n taste , still filling the stomach but a bit different , watch my videos Hermano , allow me to change the way you think and see cigar world differently …..🎉 Happy New Year 😊
Beautiful points of view both from viewer and Jasmin. Thank you Jasmin for taking the time to write such a respectful response... cigars like all things that take time to create are forms of art that only those who know the process behind can appreciate... however this is not to deny the unfortunate commercial forces driving the "ettiquete"/lifestyle ... enjoying and appreciating a great cigar does not need any fancy "clothes/liquors" etc.
To each his own. If u don't like something or the way people do things, u have the freedom not to watch. People should enjoy cigars whatever way they prefer. There's many different people with different takes on everything...but that makes the world go around. I like the ritual of smoking cigars, because today it's not something I do everyday (like I used to) ...some people just cut, toast and smoke others may like pairing, comradery or special occasions. Cigars are a luxury for some and a lifestyle for others. Let people do and say what they want, just as long as they're not offending anyone. I've been smoking cigars for over 40 years and I still like watching other Aficionados (like Jasim) enjoying what they do. I still know how and enjoy learning from others...
I saw you win Habanos Communications award, On Kirby Allison channel today! His trip to Cuba he has you in it at 13 mins Episode 10. CONGRATULATIONS! You deserve that award 100% :D
I love cigars so much that I could eat a pudding of them. But smoking them outside, is for a very beautiful day, no wind at all, sun already a little going down, and than with a favorite drink that, completes it. But overall I love smoking them in doors, in my special cigar room, which creates this atmosphere, of the flavour the air, the way it mixes with the normal sent I am used to. Books, nice woods, and the right and beloved friendly company. When I smoke a cigarette there, my new cat doesn't follow, he dislikes the cigarette smoke, but when I select my cigar and walk that way he follows me, takes his favorite chair, and than we have our lovely cigar time for maybe an hour maximally 1,5. This one can even start purring while not touching him, when we smoke our cigar. Lol...says a lot right, no purring is a bad cigar I guess... lol! ;) And after that I always need some air. Completing my drink outside. And than going back in to the house with the flavour blended in the cigar room, not that heavy anymore, it becomes time for a good book or interesting conversations, or a nice game. Sometimes I still need to finish the cigar, but that is mostly enough for cat. :) I maximally perform this ritual, one time every two weeks, on holidays I can perform this once or twice a week. Cuban only. My ritual. Have a wonderful day dear Sir. Watching your smile while handling such a beautiful cigar, says it all right :D Salute!
fantastic video !!! Greetings Ahmed An important question of mine would be how do I age cigars in wooden boxes properly if I don't have a humidor cabinet or walk-in humidor. Should I wrap the boxes with a Boveda Pack on them (because they don't fit in) in a foil and store them at the right temperature or do you have any other tips? great videos keep up good work. gretings !
JASIM , MEU COHIBA BEHIKE 🤣😍... BROTHER, ESPETACULAR É SEMPRE MUITO RICO SE DETALHES E DICAS SEUS GENIAIS CONTEÚDO. UM FELIZ E PRÓSPERO ANO NOVO. SAÚDE E SUCESSO 🕊💐
Wow Jasim..you always deliver only the best brother 🙌🏼 If it’s not to much to ask…could you make a video on air purification if one is smoking at home..My lady and kids hate including myself the smell the next day even when I smoked close to an open window..I love cigars, but the next day the smell in almost the whole apartment has this ugly cigar smell. I would deeply appreciate any advice
I have a question. When the cigar go out is it ok to cut the part that you light? I dont like the harshness off re-lighting it. I've done it before and it work but is it ok to do?
I have to admit everytime I smoke a Cigar I have a sense of dread in the back of my head that regardless of the fact you dont inhale your still putting smoke into your body one way or another. I love cigars I love the taste the experience the relaxing time outside the talking I do with another Cigar person. There are times like I quit smoking cigarettes but now im still smoking. Does that make sense. I only smoke maybe 10 a year but still. It keeps me from really enjoying them.
I quit cigarettes a decade ago. I take up cigars mainly in summer when I work outside. There is no withdrawal or fiending like cigarettes. Also, just read an academic study that found no increased mortality for cigar smokers vs. cigarette and cigar+cigarette. smokers.
Bro - can we get a soundtrack from you for tunes you smoke to? Don't pander either - give us your regional favorites too! Also, call your movement "the windmill" - people will keep the movement smoother and steadier. Salamat!
This is probably sacrilege but i have to ask.. can you review some non-cuban cigars? I can't get Cubans in the states . I would love your perspective on it.
Eat to a full stomach before you smoke. NEVER just drink and smoke on an empty stomach. Take your time. 45 seconds between puffs. This isn't a cigarette break. It's a cigar escape.
I've been smoking cigars for almost 20 years. I've learned so much from your videos. Thank you, my friend!
Best "how to" for cigar smoking i have seen. All smokers should watch this video. Great job and thank you.

It's no surprise why you are a Hombre Habano and a very great educator.
“The first thing you have to feel, is how the cigar looks”
That makes sense….
I really enjoyed that video.

Did you have made a guide on how to learn to retrohale? Thanks.
Best tip was to give the stub to my plants ❤ will do from now on 😊
Your doing great work and what an amazing video!
Why the double puff? And do you draw hard or soft?
Softer mostly , double puff to maintain the heat without a super puff

I have a question. When the cigar go out is it ok to cut the part that you light? I dont like the harshness off re-lighting it. I've done it before and it work but is it ok to do?
By the way, I'm referring to smoking it later after it went out.

Say, you're not afraid of getting cancer
No brother , no cancer with cigar
Thank you🌹
I lived in the Arab world. I was frequently told that studies prove that Arabs don't get cancer from smoking. Live your own life, fren!!!
🎉🎉🎉
Thorough
Anda terlalu kurus akibat merokok,, berhentilah merokok sebelum anda menderita seperti mendiang ayah saya😭
How far? Usually for me, I will smoke until I got extremely lightheaded. I have low tolerance of nicotine but I enjoy cigar. So worth it 🥹
Eat to a full stomach before you smoke. NEVER just drink and smoke on an empty stomach. Take your time. 45 seconds between puffs. This isn't a cigarette break. It's a cigar escape.
Thanks David, if course I'm well aware of this, it's just my tolerance (maybe). I always take my sweet time between puff😎🙏
