This is a little demo made with E-mu MK6 Mo`Phatt Keys
Now available, new albums of music created entirely with differents synthesizer, MIDI controller, sound modules, studio processors, VSTi, etc., using native found sounds to create melodic instruments, drones and soundscapes.

The keys on this emu are synth heavy with some organ, ep, and clavs. Great basses, pads, and kits.

Yeah it got a bad rep because it had some cheesy sounds on there, but it had some great sounding samples as well.

Good to see that this thing is capable of some weirdness, which after all is what I'd assume potential owners of looking for. People that come to these old E-MU looking for realistic sounding virtual instruments or beats to rap over are simply missing the f'n point.

Holy F are the drums great sounding! Impressive overall, I had EMU's PK-6 and PX-7. Really wish I hadn't sold the PX-7 (Command Station with their "Protean" drum sounds ROM) the drums were slamming on that too.

Are these Emu proteus keyboards basically the same with different roms fitted? If I swapped out the rom with the Emu PK6 would they then be (basically) the same? Thanks for your demo which showed the MK6 sounds very well.. Ashley.

Yes...I added the Proteus 2000 and now I have the MK6 plus the PK-6. Also added the orbit 9090 and the Planet Phatt. Now I don't know what the hell I have but it's loaded. The only down fall is "It Doesn't have a Sequencer.
