E-MU MP-7 House/Dance Command Station

EMU MP-7 by itself no outside processing. Straight recorded through headphone jack.
Beautifully simple but powerful sequencer with good amount of presets and very tweak able. They are selling very cheap now days but with a little sound programming its much useable.

Wow! Ive had the XL7 since 2002 and Ive watched a buncha youtubz about our command stations. I use mine EXACTLY like you use yours! Big pattern, and use mutes for progression and realtime knobs for the rest. Its what made sense to me and I still do it DAWless

i own the emu mp-7 with the proteus expansion sound rom protean drums (bought it new); never figured out how to use it; just sits in my rack. 🙄

thank you for demoing this.. I've been looking to buy the rack versions of the e-mu lineup.. but from what I've listened on youtube demos.. the output of these grooveboxes, sounds way better than the supossedly more professional rack units.. and they might be not as sought after.. gonna look on ebay.

Notice that's only 1 eight bar pattern , and all he is doing is turning tracks on and off. Imagine what you could do with more patterns and more bars...if you have the patience.
