New subscriber. I just ordered two of these S15 mags for my Glock 48. They should be here Tuesday. Can't wait to try them out.

I actually bought 2 of mine from a seller on gunbroker.com and 1 from a local armory in my city. If you have the option to shop local it’s probably going to be a better deal. Train hard and train smart 👍

I'm from Brazil, I bought a 43x here, but the shield arms charger is very difficult to get here, maybe you can sell with a profit margin for me?

The Shield Arms magazine release is steel, not aluminum. Aluminum would degrade just like polymer would when going up against steel.

I think I corrected myself in one of these videos but I can’t remember. Thank you for the comments!

It was aluminum and then because their magazines did chew it up still they updated the mag release to steel.

FTF on mine. Might try another one if I can ever find one again.

@@chooselegend4744 I had about 4 of the gen 1 mags and the steel catch. Each one of them would fail to feed at least once per mag dump (even with slow rate fire.) The rounds would nose dive and get stuck under the feed ramp which usually resulted in me having to spend more than a minute each time trying to unjam. Shield sent me the higher power springs and that made the issue worse. Sent them back and went back to the Glock mags- since then I’m over 1,000 rounds in with not a single issue. Wish they worked for me.

@@chooselegend4744 I wonder if it has anything to do with the silver slide vs. the black slide versions? Maybe there’s a small difference in the build? I’ve heard others say the new gen. 2 mags have also had the same issues here and there. Great video, by the way!

It’s actually steel mag release. Aluminum being softer than steel will slowly wear down as well but of course not as fast as the polymer. I also got the billet aluminum base plate the +0 and the +5 very nice high quality mags and base plates. Cost a good bit tho💲the base plates are $39.00 for the +5 and like $25 for +0 aluminum baseplate. I got the Dom camo +0 base plate for $32 so $72 dollars in just that one flush mag and $80 bones in the +5 baseplate. That’s a chunk of change but worth it in my opinion. You pay for what you get in this case. High quality American made products. But thanks for the vid tho man.
