You don’t need to take the spring out. Instead, when you’re installing the new mag release, come in through the opposite side with a straight pick and hold the spring up when you slide the new release in. Then take your 90 degree pick and put the spring back in the notch. Super easy. Whole thing took two minutes.

I just started hunting with my 11 year old son. We’ve done 2 hunts. First, we could hear made no contact, started getting too hot. So came home empty. 2nd, went out made contact but my son tried shooting with safety on, then by the time he took it off, squirrely ran into a hiding hole. But. We had bunches of fun, made memories. 3rd time will be next week, gotta let my boy get the first kill. It was kinda hard for me not to take that shot last time 😂.

Old school small game vest or a turkey vest are the best for squirrel hunting. The turkey vest because they have a comfortable seat for when sitting is the best option and a small game vest for when walking is the best method

Load the factory 10 round mags over and over and they eventually smooth out and drop with the metal mag release.

You are correct. Both shotguns can take the weather but must be cleaned immediately after the hunt if they get wet. But like you said yours is more weather resistant than the wood furniture model of your dad's.

Are you kidding me? Chicken liver is yummy and load with good nutrients; my favorite way to prepare it is stir fry with cubed pineapples and tomatoes, of course with lot of onions and garlic. You want to get fresh chicken liver from Asian supermarket; once you try it I bet you won't get chicken liver for the fish, you gonna get some for yourself as well; thank you for the video and good luck with the liver😆

I used old window screening to lay mine out on. You can buy it by the roll too.

Did you have a weird line or blemish on your mag catcher. The flat non rigid side? I got one on mine and the lady said it's on all the standard steel mag catches and I would have to buy a premium one to not have a manufacturer mark on the product. This sounds really stupid to me that I need to pay extra for a product that is blemish free. They even sell blemished ones on website at a discount but I pay full price for one. Let me know if you noticed a blemish line on yours.

If u change factory base plates to a heavier one,will that then help with the ejection of polymer mag?

I'm going to have to try this. Maybe even try procure on hotdogs too instead of Koolaid and garlic. When I lived in Thailand, local vendors used to sell marinated grilled chicken livers, gizzards, and hearts on skewers... delicious if you like that sort of thing, and only about 25 cents per skewer too.

Stubborn and cheap me thinking pick tools are for dentists decided to make a pick tool out of cut up wire hanger - I fashioned the hooked ending (3-5mins) and followed along with your instruction - success🎉 p.s. “pick tool” will be on my radar now though. Don’t look to be too expensive 😊

Thank you for the tip using a pick, using a flat blade screwdriver couldn’t getting it to save my life, using my pick three minutes later removed and replaced, did it because I purchased Glocks GXS frame from the Glock store, so I wanted to make sure I could do it.

30 minutes later I realize that I have to push back on the off side. Duh. Great video.
