I would personally say that doing this mission with the Daytime mod would make this significantly easier than night. Depth Perception can be rather misleading in darkness.
From what I did, that would be true if the sun is set at a certain time, otherwise there is really a deep dark area that will always caught you off guard.
War gives no favors, only contingencies and consequences.

In the movie the max altitude was 100 feet, which sounds absolutely unrealistic, unless that valley was really below sea level

@@Cloaker86 when you fly through a tree in ace combat the pilot thinks to themself: "Oh, a tree. That should destroy my craft but I don't care enough to really allow anything to happen. I'll just fly through it."

If this canyon is inspired by the Verdon canyon, then Eruseans are lucky to have water at its bottom. Also, it ends on a lake and not the sea..

2:12 I find doing a barrel roll here allows you to maintain good speed, you don't have to lose momentum banking side to side :P
The barrel roll is something Maverick would definitely do
can i only use the F/A-18E in this challenge? Because in the country where I live the price of this DLC is very expensive

its kind of a bummer you need the dlc to do it.. still a cool challenge though.
you know what, I gonna do it with XFA-27 GreenGlowing skin, witch is bright enough to make harder to see the walls at night. Just by the giggles.

Has to be in the mission, otherwise you won't get the time (from the in-game timer in the corner).

Doesn't sound like it! Maneuverability and accel/decel parts will be most useful, though

*stares at this challenge, first thought immediately* "nah fuck that F-14 for the memes" and thus, this happened after like 30 tries or so. Didn't go above 150 metres either so yay.
I'm not here to win anything, just prove to myself that I could do it and, most importantly, style on my friends who did it in F-18's. It may be a top gun challenge but there's nothing more topgun than the tomcat, sure Its the D model cause I didn't buy the topgun DLC -like why would you anyway? no offence but I just don't see the point. Either way here's the run, time was 2:44, good luck to everyone else doing this thing. also if you don't like the music mute the video, if the fact its unlisted fucks with it then tell me.
