How can i reduce my carbs and still gain muscle ive got fat belly but muscular arms and legs if i reduce my carbs to close to 0 wont my muscle start to wither too? also can i gain more muscle without eating carbs?

the phrase that mattered the most to me was : losing weight is hard..being fat is hard...choose your hard! i must rly choose my hard...im not fat but i know i can be healthier! good luck to everyone who is struggling with weight!
I totally Agree with this video, I am very much overweight, my goal weight is 65 kg, I started in January weighing 94 kg, today I am in 76 kg, 11 kg to go, and without knowing it I have been doing exactly what you say I should do. My doctor gave me all of these tips in January. The only thing that is missing here, is that at first you shed off allot of weight very fast because you are changing your lifestyle, after a while this is not going to happen. Right now I am loosing approximately between 250 gr to 300 gr per week so these last 10 kg will be a long way to go and slowly, but that is a good thing. My goal is December. Adding to this story, so you guys know how you weight loss will go, at first you might even loose 1 kg per week, but these aren't that many, maybe the first month will be like this (when you have such a long way to go of course), then you will go down to 750 approx the next month, then to 500, at the end it is veeery slowly, but that's ok. It's better to go slow than too fast, don't forget to keep you vitamin intake on track.
people watching this your beautiful but the carbs one sure you will lose weight fast but because its water weight this will be added almost instantly after you stop your diet
that is very true, however you shouldn't go on strict diet that you can't follow long term.. change your eating habits slowly and allow yourself to stick to healthy foods for life than you won't gain it back. that usually happens for people who go on strict diets lose 10- - 15 some pounds and than stop working out n eat the old ways..
I don't understand how I've been told to stay away from rice. Or to eat wheat bread w/ avacado. I just consume anything that doesn't sound fattening. Maybe I'm not doing this right 🤔🤷
This is an excellent video. I especially appreciate that it's simple, yet nothing drastic. This video incorporates better eating habits, adding exercise, drinking plenty of water, and remembering that the psychology of weight loss as well as the physical. Great job on the video!!
Great Hacks! I'm currently on a 100lb weight loss journey sharing my progress here on youtube..down 42 lbs and counting! You look great! Thanks so much for sharing ..like the sly humor lol
Hey man. I am a 14 year old that used to be a mind blowing 180 pounds. I was trying everything in my power to stop gaining weight but i went up by 10 pounds in less than a month. This video helped me lose a staggering amount of weight. The main reason i wasnt losing weight was because i was eating too much not excercising too little. You helped me go from 180 to 150 in less than 2 months. I have to thank you so much for making my life a whole lot better
Wow! Thats amazing! I am really close to your age and i need to lose at least 10 pounds by the end of this month. What were some of the foods you ate, and what exersises made a impact?
@@Miraculouslynormal well considering that was 5 years ago im 19 now lmao. anyways losing that much weight is difficult. I personally have a high metabolism because I have great genetics and lots of muscle. First you should figure out what your basal metabolic rate is. theres calculators online and physical activity also raises it. you can start tracking and seeing if this number is correct or not. the calculators say i have a like 2400 BMR but in actuality mine is about 4000 because of muscle and activity. Then, the diet. first off you shouldnt change up your diet like crazy and restrict yourself so much, if you go too fast your body will not like it and you'll put the weight back on. Whole foods are going to be the best way to stay full and also not take in a ton of empty calories. I go by the 80/20 rule. 80% whole foods 20% can be snacks, sweets, etc. You should eat 200-500 calories under your basal metabolic rate in order to lose weight. I personally do refeeding on the weekends meaning 5 days a week I eat 3500 calories and then on the weekends i eat 4000 calories or even a lil bit more in order to satisfy myself. As for my personal diet: I dont like veggies. I eat mainly fruit, rice, chicken, salmon, and eggs.

You have NO idea how much this has actually helped me! Thank you so much! I have watched SO many videos on workouts and how to loose weight and this is the only one that makes sense!
I was 102 kg and was just mad about to lose weight. I was motivated and ready to do anything to lose weight. I decided yes, I will not eat junk food. I was successful for 2 days. Then on 3 rd day friends took me to party and I was resisting my urges to eat food but it failed. I surrendered once again to junk food. And realized this is not the way. Searched internet and got one breathing exercise which can be done by sitting . And even though nothing worked before. This exercise worked and I was losing fats everyday sitting at home. And feeling energetic and happy. I lost 24 kgs in 3 months but it was not those KGS but I lost lethargy and sluggishness . Now feeling very powerful inside physically and mentally. Feeling excited all day long.
I eat a high carb, low fat plant-based diet of 2,000+ calories a day. I'm 5'3, 110lbs, and 16. You shouldn't be giving up all carbs because our bodies run off of glucose. The key is focusing on healthy carbs such as whole grains, brown rice, oats, ect. If you stop eating carbs you will deprive your cells of the glucose they need and most likely feel very tired/sluggish/hazy ect! :)
I was 270, but now I'm 267! that's 3 lbs down! yay! I just cut back on the carbs, cut back on sugar, and started eating less! it's only been about 2 weeks! but I'm gonna keep trying and going! my goal is to loose 100 lbs! 😆 this video is great.
Weight loss hack? It's called diet and exercise ! Glad to see that was actually discussed and wasn't just some "wrap your body" and be in with your day stuff .
weight loss had been a struggle my whole life but u have finally lost weight and I am still going. I have lost about 30 lbs I have been eating a bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon in it and a price of whole wheat toast and so far it has helped me loose 2-4 pounds each week
With 100-150g of carbs it helps if they come with fiber, such as apples, whole wheat bread, honey roasted peanuts, etc. The fiber will cut down on the overeating slow digestion, make you feel satisfied, and many more benefits.
In the night I'm determined to lose weight and I'm exercising at like midnight but the next day I can't stop helping myself to the icecream......and the cake.......and the donuts.....
For those out there who hate exercising for the sake of exercising: Don't "exercise". #4 is pretty bogus. Pretty much ANY fitness professional (nutritionist, personal trainer, dietitian, etc) will tell you to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals per day as opposed to 3 larger ones. By incorporating healthy snacks into your daily routine, you keep your metabolism elevated because your body gets used to having a steady supply of fuel and doesn't go into "starvation" or "survival" mode where the body holds on to calories to store for later. And the reason water is so important is because, well, people are mostly water. Being properly hydrated enables all the chemical reactions involved with food digestion to take place correctly. I personally lost 50 lbs in 4 months and have managed to keep it off for the most part for nearly 10 years. These things work. Just remember that if you cut the carbs, you will eventually have no choice but to reincorporate them into your diet. Carbs are not evil and do not promote weight gain in and of themselves. They are an essential part of our diets and are necessary for energy and other body functions. So, "low carb" is not a long term solution. Once you get to your target weight, try to maintain about a 40/40/20 ratio of protein/carbs/fats (as in 40% of your total calories from protein, 40% from carbs and 20% from fat).
Surprisingly, #4 isn't bogus at all. Recent research says that 6 mini meals doesn't promote weight loss any more than three meals. That research coupled with my personal experience with weight loss is why I suggested 3 meals per day. Plus, it's not feasible for most people to eat 5-6 prepared meals per day. And on the subject of cutting carbs, many experts and I suggest 100g-150g of carbs to be a reasonable allotment because it's not drastically low or even low enough to be considered low-carb. The 100g-150g number is perfect because it's a low-enough number to experience fat loss without experiencing the lack of energy and mental fogginess that's often associated with going low carb. In addition, that carb allowance still gives you plenty of room to eat healthy carbs with an occasional bad carb or two. By the way, It is very commendable that you lost 50 lbs. Your method for losing weight works - it's just a different approach.
This video really helped me realize that I'm not doing the right things to lose weight and how much of a difference sleep makes I usually only get around 4 hrs of sleep a day! No wonder why I'm 168 lb
shabana shaikh I totally agree with you. Obviously he didn't read any current research studies or half this stuff wouldn't have been in the video. He also would have suggested that people find the cause... Which is NOT food. I went from obese to optimal weight and have kept that for 20 years eating what I like... Including fast food, lol. Much of this info is garbage. And he didn't even mention the most important reason to drink water or any of the real reasons that water can help in weight loss... smh.
I've lost 40+ lbs. and counting, so here are my additional tips: 1. Do it with a support system, people to encourage you, whether or not they are dieting too, as long as they encourage rather than sabotage you. 2. To make tracking food intake easier, use a fitness tracking website like myfitnesspal, or sparkpeople. Just enter in the food and amounts, and it calculates calories for you, and gives you graphic feedback on your overall diet. 3. Think about everything you put in your body; "What nutrients and benefits is this giving me? Is it worth it?" 4. Allow yourself a bite, lick or sip of anything, but just a taste. Then you won't feel deprived of anything 5. Always bring emergency foods along with you to "eating events" so you'll have something to eat in case there are no positive choices being served. 6. Go low sodium. This will automatically eliminate most processed, empty calorie foods, and eliminate water retention.
It’s okay when I was only 8 I weighed 96.4 pounds and I hated it and didn’t eat for weeks and starved to the point that I felt like I had to poop or vomit when I tried to poop it wasn’t that so I had to make myself vomit didn’t work I started eating salad didn’t work I ate chicken for 3 days and got back to normal now I am about 89.2 pounds and still need to lose weight but I believe in you all to lose weight and get the shape you want
If I feel lazy about working out, I'll just do some shadow boxing or basic moves of it. It helps me to sweat and makes me feel like I'm learning self defence. So if you felt lazy, try something fun that makes you sweat
All those tips are very true! My problem is being consistent. All I can do is get back on track and do give myself a cheat day, but not go over board on my cheat day :-)
actually about snacks, you need to eat breakfast at like, 8:00, then a (healthyish) snack at 10:00 and lunch at 12:00 snack at 3:00 dinner at 6:00 (can change times but that is for me) and you lose weight FAST as long as you are eating the correct portions, my dad did that a long time ago and started dropping 3-5 lbs a week!!!
this is what I have been doing and it does work, I miss my potato chips, but I would rather get back to my goal weight, only 10 lbs to go I keep a log of what I eat. it's nice to see inches gone.

This aren't hacks. It is sucide to live life without my favourite foods. 🤐
shabana shaikh I totally agree with you. And he didn't even mention the most important reason to drink water or any of the real reasons that water can help in weight loss... smh.
I've lost 40+ lbs. and counting, so here are my additional tips:
Is it worth it?"
4. Allow yourself a bite, lick or sip of anything, but just a taste. Then you won't feel deprived of anything
5. Always bring emergency foods along with you to "eating events" so you'll have something to eat in case there are no positive choices being served.
6. Go low sodium. This will automatically eliminate most processed, empty calorie foods, and eliminate water retention.

If I feel lazy about working out, I'll just do some shadow boxing or basic moves of it. It helps me to sweat and makes me feel like I'm learning self defence.
So if you felt lazy, try something fun that makes you sweat
Lmao @ the man telling women how to lose weight (incorrectly, might I add)
it's not only for women, this can work for either gender

All those tips are very true! My problem is being consistent. All I can do is get back on track and do give myself a cheat day, but not go over board on my cheat day :-)
"Choose your Hard" That did it for me. Subscribed & liked. :)
This is completely wrong (no hate) you need a LOW protein and a HIGH carb diet, no I'm not a crazy vegan but everything from animals is less healthy
You need the sugar and the glucose in your diet, and the carbs are your energy source so it burns of the fat that you were using for energy

actually about snacks, you need to eat breakfast at like, 8:00, then a (healthyish) snack at 10:00 and lunch at 12:00 snack at 3:00 dinner at 6:00 (can change times but that is for me) and you lose weight FAST as long as you are eating the correct portions, my dad did that a long time ago and started dropping 3-5 lbs a week!!!
Me: I CAN DO THIS!

Some expert nutritionists say to cut out all carbohydrates from your diet. Fruit and vegetables are carbs.
2 hours works with a tablet at treadmill to watch movies or/and a bluetooth controller for games, at gym made it really easy and fun.
this is what I have been doing and it does work, I miss my potato chips, but I would rather get back to my goal weight, only 10 lbs to go I keep a log of what I eat. it's nice to see inches gone.
