Thanks for the sub bro. The Athena's are a great way to go for a starter scooter hybrid build. Paired with a vm20 and a balanced crank they can become a very well rounded and powerful machine!
Seen your old video cam long way from China motor to minarelli conversion real enthusiasts that are into them will eventually get their hands on one right 👍👍
I think you need to adjust your carburetor tuning a little bit I see that it stalls out plus I believe it's called four stroking it could be that pipe you have on there but if you think it's running good it probably is hard to tell on video most of the times overall good build Gemini rims and everything wow .? By a chance did you upgrade the engine bearings I know the old bearings go out pretty quick definitely on a minarelli
U come a long way since u started channel... I just saw your MJ 65 clone video today to this I ran that pipe on the last three box I built I'm real happy with it but hey I was wondering where did you get that headlight that's on the bike in this video right here cuz I've been using like a construction headlight but it is real bright but it doesn't shine very far the one you have on your back looks great I was wondering where did you get it how do you power it and how much about how much ?... Thanks and congrats on your channel and your success with building quality bikes
Hey man thanks for commenting, I've got a lot more coming soon. I got the headlight off amazon with some brackets for about $55, and then I got a big battery for it for also about $55. I then did some wiring and I can now plug it in to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. I might even make a video about it since I've gotten so many questions about it. Thanks for the interest!
Could you make a video on how you mounted your seat and what those brackets are? I have a seat like that and I'm trying to think of ways to install it.
It all looks awesome, except for that muffler/expansion-chamber, it may run a bit better because of it, but it sure adds nothing to the looks, lol, super awesome motorized-bike brother, thanks for sharing.
Nice video is that the athina aluminum minaralli cylinder on Amazon if so is that the piston that came with it or did you put a window piston in it reason I'm asking I have both versions of the minaralli hybrid engine the cast iron cylinder what I'm running now and the athina aluminum minaralli cylinder still in the box was have problems with the cast iron cylinder getting hot I've heard from other people to leave the athina engine as is with no window piston but I know with a window piston it gives you a lot of low end torque like the seat to goes good with the bike where did you get it I have a zada screaming demon v2 bicycle has basically same frame set up as the felt faker and the f zero anyway ride safe nice build
@@TanBoiIndustries cool thanks for the info your probably better off using the athina aluminum minaralli cylinder it can expand as the piston expands so you don't get a cold seize because the aluminum piston is expanding faster than the cast iron mine hasn't done it yet but I haven't taken it out on any long trips and only run it either in the morning or evening we're have a heat wave down here in Texas for the Last few weeks thanks again for the info ride safe
You have got to be running a 22t sprocket, are close to it,,is your running the cylinder your saying you have,,you should having alot more bottom end,,,it's sounds like you have no bottom end
I have the Athena cylinder and it does not like water as soon as the carburetor sucks in a little bit of water if she stalls down and turns off a puddle a few times just to take the water out and she turns right back on that’s the reason why I don’t drive in the rain and I checked for air leaks. I sprayed down the whole motor she never stalled out. It’s just rain that she does not like. But yet my 80 cc, that stock can drive in the rain with no problem the carburetor sucks in water, and she still stays on. So weird.
Your running it so rich that it’s flooding out. It won’t even hit the pipe. I’ve got several vids on my channel of the Athena cylinder at max potential. Dial that main back some
Yea i ran out of room with my adjustable main, i thought that since it was bogging at some points at wot i needed to go richer because that usually means its lean (right?)
@@TanBoiIndustries I don’t like the adjustable main for that reason. Too much guess work. I’d try dialing it back a bit to see if it gains rpm. If so, ur headed the right direction. Plug will tell u a story too
@@TanBoiIndustries that would be my advice. Start no lower then 260 and go from there. Once u know how it performs with the right tune, u can go back to the adjustable and dial it in.
Yea I put a tilly carb on it and I'm gonna tune it on that instead of the vm20 since with the VM it doesn't seem to want to free rev past 8.5k but with the tilly I can get it to free rev to 13k.
I'll admit it was far from fast, but that was mostly due to a couple small issues which I eventually got fixed. Watch the last most recent video I did with the athena, it did 53 and I wasnt even really trying.
At the beginning when he's putting his gloves on that feeling and Rush of ready to ride is a great feeling
Beautiful build bud!
Sweet bike, just got into this hobby it’s a blast…😊
Nice ride, Bro.
Thought i was subbed. WTH YT, Just subbed again.
I'm planning on building an Athena top-end for my felt faker gas frame.

Haha yeah we need 2, one for working on my bike all day and the other for paying my bills!
Very good looking. About your headlight, what is it and where to get one? Thanks for the ride.
Got my headlight off amazon. Heres the link www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8YCLX2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Love the headlight. How'd you get it?
Bought it off amazon. You gotta wire it up yourself to power and ground and a switch
Nice build 👍👍👍
Thank you!
How many tooth what newfangled open primary is that

I gotchu. I'll make sure to cover that in the next video i do on the bike
it clamps like a normal bike seat and has the 2 supports at the back u tighten to the frame

Lol i feel what you mean man. Im gonna sell this motor and build a better motor with a modified jog pipe so i dont have the tumor thats on it now
the expansion chamber works like a supercharger sort of, its not just a bit of a power increase
How does that sprocket attach to rear wheel?
Cnc hub from Gemini Bicycle Products. Amazing wheels.
I have a stock China with expansion chamber and small muffler that would eat that thing?
I didnt have it tuned right, check my latest vid to see how it runs better

its a banana seat off of amazon for just any bike. it was like $60~
what's your jetting?
I think I was running about 110 for a main and stock pilot. Keep in mind its for a vm20 in NW Oregon so dont take my tuning directly

What headlight is that???
6.5inch motorcycle headlight, this one has a halo ring on it. You can find them all over amazon for around $50

they need a lil 4 stroke kit that gan make abike go 60
