Bro I understand you, I have passed some hard times myself. What I would do would be to plan a small adventure for the holidays to treat myself, like I would take a small vacation if possible, to a place I think it would be interesting to me and I would go with the flow, low-key try meet random people there, you know try but chill, see the place etc. If going to another town is not an option, I would do that in my own city, you know some days just for myself to do what I want. If you don't like that , then chose some days in the holidays to take a leave and pass them in a way you would have as much fun as you can for yourself, but outside not in the house. Apart from that I suggest you start hitting the gym if not already, it is a major mood changer, and also think of a hobby you would like to do and do that, I suggest one where you will meet new people. One of the aspects you mentioned realy hit the nail: we don't want a guy who has it all set living like in sort of dream or fairytale. While we women fight our own, that makes us stronger. We as women need to feel empowered to have a man. we also need some kind of mutuality. Without it sucks. What happens needs to be for our own good sake. A little mindset to get you started, the respect will come later: 1. Just watching videos won't get you anywhere until you put yourself out there and do something, as alpha said. If you start doing something, the motivation and inspiration will follow. I'm a 20 years student in engineering, when i have a big project i'm sitting there like 15 minutes wondering how the hell do i get started. In the end i say "oh well, let's at least do some basic programming and let's see where we get" and as soon as i start doing something, i'm programming for hours. 2. Accept that you're not awesome. You're average so put your a55 to work and do something productive. 3. Don't think about the final result, think about the process, the effort required, and accept that you have to work hard and constantly to accomplish it. 4. If you want a boost in confidence, take a shower, go to the gym, volunteer, practice a skill. The confidence comes from the pain you suffer to achieve something good. 5. Keep in mind that failure is inevitable, but it's healthy as soon as you learn from it. So track your steps, see where you messed up, and go back to work. 6. The most important thing is not the negative event, but the way you react to it. It's such a basic advice but people don't consider it enough. When something bad happens ask yourself if it's really worth to let that sh*t blow your mind. Many times when someone annoys me i get a little angry, of course. But few seconds later i start laughing at myself and say "silly me, i really let that person to disturb my peace?" i started thinking like this about small events and as i practiced it i can even think like that about some serious stuff like my ex gf who broke up with me. I could lay in bed, cry, fall in depression, but what i did? Exactly, i didn't give a sht and i kept doing my things like nothing happened 7. Just in case you didn't get the point: "DO SOMETHING"

Those are three of the best pieces of advice in this video, in my opinion. Definitely follow it. Regarding the first part, if you are not able to see her for a day, or a night, that's okay. You have your life to live, just as she does, and you have keep yourself going as a person. Plus you need to have a life outside of her. Nothing wrong with putting her first, but don't let her dominate your life. (Just make sure if you're not available to hang out, so she doesnt get the wrong idea, is to offer an alternative date as to when you can get together. However make sure you can commit to the date and time you suggest, before throwing it out there.) Regarding the 2nd part, it all comes down to being a man of your word. Do what you say you will, even if it means walking out her door and never looking back, (specifically when she starts talking smack about you), and thus you show yourself respect.

I just wanted to say Alpha M thank you for posting brother I right now I'm struggling in a relationship with my wife but she doesn't respect me at all as a man and some of the stuff that you talked on really hit home and made a lot of sense one of my downfalls is that I love and care way too much and I just want to help and be there for my wife and family is best I can and be a good provider but obviously I'm failing in my relationship because my wife does not respect me at all and she's told me that she feels like she just walks all over me and I just let her well in truth yes and some way she does and then I guess my reaction to her walking all over me is that of somebody who just cares about somebody way too much and just wants to help them through their issues besides taking control and telling her how it is but I guess you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink So currently me and my wife are separated she is in another state with my child which is very sad but it's mostly her choice and cuz she wanted a chance to grow as an adult and has some Life Experiences without going into too much detail I do see a lot of the things you talked on in my life which really kind of sucks so for right now I'm just going to let her grow and find out that life is not easy it is very hard especially when you're trying to provide for yourself and your child hopefully one day she comes to grips with how much I really do care and love her and I only wanted what was best for her to help her with her life struggles that she dealt with through anxiety and depression she always preferred going to others for advice instead of talking to me about what was happening so I just listen to her when she actually did wanted to tell me what was bothering her and gave her the best advice I could but it was like talking to a brick wall and half is probably cuz she just didn't respect me as a person and the man of the relationship so I am going to take your advice and start working on myself and become stronger in my mind and try real hard not to revert to my old ways of putting my heart into caring and loving and trying to help her as best I can just let her learn I guess and I need to become stronger in my mind so that's going to come through training. and also she said that she was sick and tired of the codependent relationship we had. In my mind I never even heard of that word until she mentioned it. the only things that I really just depended on her in all reality was just some of the technical things with our finances and that's about it the rest of it was mostly me just working a job making money and thriving and being successful and getting business taken care of. and being there for her when she needs me not to mention I have a four-year-old daughter with her that I love to pieces so also being a good provider for us all what's my number one priority. so thank you for posting this video Alpha m you really open my eyes to some of the reasons why my wife wants to and is and has left me so it probably is based around a lot of respect for me as a man of the house I guess me being so busy with working and entertaining the child and always trying to get things done has led to our love fading in due time.So the plan for now is I'm going to just work on self-growth becoming stronger in my own mind taking care of business and getting. sorry about the rant but I just want to say thank you for posting God bless you have a nice day Marky Mark

1. Act like a man - a lot of men try to mould themselves into something that they think a woman wants which is a softer version of themselves.
2. Stand up for yourself - don’t kiss her ass or let her walk all over you. Learn to say ‘no’ and learn to be nice without being a people-pleasing push-over.
3. Be upfront and honest with her - don’t play ridiculous games. Be upfront and tell her what’s up. If you want her, go out and figuratively grab it.
4. Build mental toughness - nothing will hit you harder than life itself because life will throw you a bunch of punches. You have to pick yourself up and fight again.
5. Be self-sufficient - don’t rely on her emotionally or financially. She won’t respect you if you’re too needy.
6. Respect her both when she’s around and when she’s not around - don’t flirt and act like you’re single as you’ll look like a huge dick. Plus she’ll lose respect for you when she hears what you’ve been doing.

A little mindset to get you started, the respect will come later:
1. Just watching videos won't get you anywhere until you put yourself out there and do something, as alpha said.
If you start doing something, the motivation and inspiration will follow.
I'm a 20 years student in engineering, when i have a big project i'm sitting there like 15 minutes wondering how the hell do i get started. In the end i say "oh well, let's at least do some basic programming and let's see where we get" and as soon as i start doing something, i'm programming for hours.
2. Accept that you're not awesome. You're average so put your a55 to work and do something productive.
3. Don't think about the final result, think about the process, the effort required, and accept that you have to work hard and constantly to accomplish it.
4. If you want a boost in confidence, take a shower, go to the gym, volunteer, practice a skill. The confidence comes from the pain you suffer to achieve something good.
5. Keep in mind that failure is inevitable, but it's healthy as soon as you learn from it. So track your steps, see where you messed up, and go back to work.
6. The most important thing is not the negative event, but the way you react to it. It's such a basic advice but people don't consider it enough. When something bad happens ask yourself if it's really worth to let that sh*t blow your mind. Many times when someone annoys me i get a little angry, of course. But few seconds later i start laughing at myself and say "silly me, i really let that person to disturb my peace?" i started thinking like this about small events and as i practiced it i can even think like that about some serious stuff like my ex gf who broke up with me. I could lay in bed, cry, fall in depression, but what i did? Exactly, i didn't give a sht and i kept doing my things like nothing happened

Regarding the first part, if you are not able to see her for a day, or a night, that's okay. You have your life to live, just as she does, and you have keep yourself going as a person. Plus you need to have a life outside of her. Nothing wrong with putting her first, but don't let her dominate your life.
(Just make sure if you're not available to hang out, so she doesnt get the wrong idea, is to offer an alternative date as to when you can get together. However make sure you can commit to the date and time you suggest, before throwing it out there.)
Regarding the 2nd part, it all comes down to being a man of your word. Do what you say you will, even if it means walking out her door and never looking back, (specifically when she starts talking smack about you), and thus you show yourself respect.

I just wanted to say Alpha M thank you for posting brother I right now I'm struggling in a relationship with my wife but she doesn't respect me at all as a man and some of the stuff that you talked on really hit home and made a lot of sense one of my downfalls is that I love and care way too much and I just want to help and be there for my wife and family is best I can and be a good provider but obviously I'm failing in my relationship because my wife does not respect me at all and she's told me that she feels like she just walks all over me and I just let her well in truth yes and some way she does and then I guess my reaction to her walking all over me is that of somebody who just cares about somebody way too much and just wants to help them through their issues besides taking control and telling her how it is but I guess you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink So currently me and my wife are separated she is in another state with my child which is very sad but it's mostly her choice and cuz she wanted a chance to grow as an adult and has some Life Experiences without going into too much detail I do see a lot of the things you talked on in my life which really kind of sucks so for right now I'm just going to let her grow and find out that life is not easy it is very hard especially when you're trying to provide for yourself and your child hopefully one day she comes to grips with how much I really do care and love her and I only wanted what was best for her to help her with her life struggles that she dealt with through anxiety and depression she always preferred going to others for advice instead of talking to me about what was happening so I just listen to her when she actually did wanted to tell me what was bothering her and gave her the best advice I could but it was like talking to a brick wall and half is probably cuz she just didn't respect me as a person and the man of the relationship so I am going to take your advice and start working on myself and become stronger in my mind and try real hard not to revert to my old ways of putting my heart into caring and loving and trying to help her as best I can just let her learn I guess and I need to become stronger in my mind so that's going to come through training. and also she said that she was sick and tired of the codependent relationship we had. In my mind I never even heard of that word until she mentioned it. the only things that I really just depended on her in all reality was just some of the technical things with our finances and that's about it the rest of it was mostly me just working a job making money and thriving and being successful and getting business taken care of. and being there for her when she needs me not to mention I have a four-year-old daughter with her that I love to pieces so also being a good provider for us all what's my number one priority. so thank you for posting this video Alpha m you really open my eyes to some of the reasons why my wife wants to and is and has left me so it probably is based around a lot of respect for me as a man of the house I guess me being so busy with working and entertaining the child and always trying to get things done has led to our love fading in due time.So the plan for now is I'm going to just work on self-growth becoming stronger in my own mind taking care of business and getting. sorry about the rant but I just want to say thank you for posting God bless you have a nice day Marky Mark
