Great vid mate clear and informative 👍
Excellent video ! I thank you so much ! Super helpful ! Well made ! You are amazing !
Thanks for all the info
I have a single mackie thump go . Pros for me are - good for home use , nice build and design , very decent sound quality , portable . A pair would be quite loud and good for smallish dj venues . Good price . Downsides? Had to eq the bass down a touch and rely more on mid bass but man it's punchy and makes me dance .
My friend and restaurant have the Bose, its great
Thanks
What makes the bose S1+ the best is the USB C live mix output and the wireless transmitter integration
How about Roland Cube Street EX? Why didn't you put it on the list?
The 8 inch 3 way Yorkville should be in this line-up. It is likely the best sounding of the lot. (coax mid-tweeter)
Also, Seismic Connect - Powered 8 Inch Portable 2-Way Compact PA Speaker with Rechargeable Battery - All-In-One PA System
Alto busker and Bose spro 1 plus
For the price, connectivity/app features, battery life, and volume... looks like the mackie is the best. Also bc you can buy an extra battery and replace it if it runs out
No where near ev everse8!
Can you replace the battery on the Mackie ?
yes@@jessepaulelliott
Personally the QTX 15" Looks a better option than what's shown here. More loudness and more options for powering. (Kettle lead, internal battery, external 12v battery)
Question what do we think about the Roland ba-330? Is the problem that it is underpowered?
I'm surprised that he didn't mention the Alto busker. I've heard that it sounds better than the Bose (to those who are not fans of Bose)
What is the Decibel on the Mackie Thump Go, please?
The JBL Eon is the only one that can have a portable headset?? Or they all can. I’d like to do speeches with portable headsets.
Hi! Happy New Year! I have a question of the century! From the category of "I want to know everything"))) Judging by the technical data, the JBL Eon One Compact battery (amplifier power 150 W, maximum volume level 112 dB) has a capacity of 6100 mAh × 14.8 volts = 90.28 wh = 12 at medium volume and 4 hours of operation at maximum volume compared to Everse 8 (amplifier power 400 W (volume maximum level 121 dB) - capacity 6000 mAh × 14.4 volts = 86.4 Wh = 12 and 6 hours of operation. Why does the Everse 8 have the same duration of operation at medium volume and a longer maximum operating time with 2.6 times more amplifier power and less battery charge??? According to the technical specifications comparing the power of amplifiers and batteries, the duration of operation of the Everse 8 should be less.
I suppose it depends on the quality of the internals. Some newer electronics are more efficient. I think they use soundwave manipulation these days, so the quoted Wattage (RMS) I think is Virtual not Actual like on older solid state amps. I would like to compare these different types in a hall filled with 150 people to hear the differences.
Soundboks is Simply the Best if you don't know now you know.🎉
wheres the yamaha stagepas 200 btr??
What about the qtx qx12pa and qx15pa?
Yamaha Stagepas?
Soundboks 4?
For me i go for the samson xpress and alto busker light weight there's no point to expend lot of money because at the end you gonna need an active speaker to reach more people means ac power😅😂.
How does the Yamaha Stagepas 200 stack up? On specs it appears to outdo all of these.
Heavy 27 pounds!
@@WWeiss-nv5vz The weight seems to give good bass response and less body shakes.
Hello. I'm having issues with my PA Speaker. It's showing that it's charging but it doesn't charge. When I plug it on charge, it works it turns on but when i remove it from charge it trips off. What could be the cause?
Battery might be dead
How does Yamaha’s battery powered speaker compare?
The entry level dbr 12s make a mockery of everything hes showing should be promoting them, its so annoying and misinforming
@@whatsmynameagain7774 the DBR 12 is not battery powered
No yorkville mobile
EV Everse 8, rest comes no where near!
Did exhaustive research. Have owned 2 of the cheapie China 15" bluetooths (samevas first one he showed, have 2 ba330's, had the mackie thump go 8's and have played through (but didn't own the bose s1 pro. Now have 2 ev everse 8's. No comparison. The rest are toys compared to the everse. Alreadybsoldvthe mackies, now selling the ba330's and the cheap Chinese 15" jobbies.
Apples and oranges if price is a consideration, and it usually is. No doubt the EV's sound fantastic, but for the price of 2 EV's, I can purchase 4 Thump Go. So It's definitely not so cut and dry. If price is not an issue and you simply want the best as it pertains to small portable battery powered speakers; then, the EV is the obvious choice, but only then.
@@vbarretto8131 bought a pair of everse 8 for 1k including shipping. Were used as a demo at a trade show,, so brand new. Luckily my pair of mackie thump go's were still in the 30 day to take them back. Also, the point of a battery speaker is the mobility. Why would I want to haul 4 speakers around to sound the same as 2 decent ones? Anyway, stand by my opinion. After having and hearing both, plus 3 channels on each speaker vs 2, plus the dsp on the ev with ducker, fx, compression, para eq etc, its a no Brainer. I do agree, total apples and oranges. Ev's are in a whole other league. Like I said, toys vs real.
DO Anyone out there know if There’s a PORTABLE 2.1 BLUETOOTH SOUND CONFIGURATION… And Or Push The Need For The Software Engineers To Give us a Way To Pair our Speakers in Stereo AND Give us A Way to Add another Bluetooth Speaker as A Center Channel… THIS WOULD BE THE ULTIMATE SETUP For We Music Lovers That Loves The Outdoors.
Pro DG i630A has 600w peak made in Spain not China
All battery powered systems are weak on sound but are good in a pinch.
Bullshit!
"This is by no means the smallest on the list. It is the largest on the list". Difficult to have any confidence in this review.
Don't help me. I just don't understand tech. Need input for 2 x mics and one for guitar and one for my phone.
YAMAHA STAGEPAS WINNER ...EVEN A STAGEPAS 100BTR KILL anyday the BOse S2 ...
The Bose sux
Everse is stupid. Why not just throw in two dedicated volume knobs, two dedicated eq knobs?
I get it...they did their best to make it as light as possible. Use the phone app on a bracket on your mic stand....easy
@@jeffmilkey Nah, that's something else drunks will knock over. 🤣
@@Vanhalen1 If a drunk knocks over your mic stand, you have more problems then controlling your battery powered speaker.
It is fully adjustable from the speaker easily. Each channel has a button. Push that button and choose which function you want the main rotary encoder to adjust (volume/fx/eq etc). Takes about 2 seconds.
moved on. Battery life is not good and power is disappointing
What is he doing with his hands? His media training looks fake and is OTT.
If I saw someone waving their hands around like that, I would put him in the recovery position because he looks like he is having a fit.
You remember how Dumbledore could do magic with his hands? It's the same deal
Great content💯 I am new to itall but I am a poet and rapper/ I just want to use my iPhone and a mic… What is a good way to get started/ what do you suggest? Also curious about range in volume
Sub & 👍🏾 from Eastern Shore of Maryland🫡
Bose is way underpowered if plugging direct with a sm58. Clips very easily!
Why would anyone busk out on the streets when there are so many bars and clubs for solo performers to make 300 plus tips for a few hours' work? I make 1500 to 2000 playing four shows, 12 hours a week. No streets for me!
To make money busking you have to be good. Any old hack can get a gig in a pub, playing to drunk idiots requesting shitty rock covers . . . Depends on why you play music I guess but busking is the purest form of performing that I have found
Glad I didn't buy it😂😂😂
There's buskers that make that in less than two days on the streets.. depends on where your busking and how you go about your show.
Anyway it's not always about the money.. as a musician I find that it's important to connect with the people and the experience.
That's why I think it's stupid to get an amp like the ev everse. Who wants to take an amp worth that much out on the street and so close to the hood, you don't want gear that's going to make you self conscious of how much it's worth specially when you're dealing with people from all walks of life
@@roadArt132 No busker.makes that kind of money.
@@Vanhalen1 you should check out Rome, and the violinists that sell cds. I absolutely believe they do
