i can't decide if this video inspires or depresses. A year in I've got over 60 sessions and 80+ hours on my foilboard and I still am not even close to jybing or tacking or riding toeside or swapping feet. And here goes this aquatic juggernaut demonstrating water relaunches with one hand holding the camera in the other. He is basically the same size as me. The bio of this guy (owner of Gong kites) also says he spends 300+ days a year on the water so that undoubtedly has a lot to do with that skill level, but still... I am full of self doubt. This learning process has been painful and not real rewarding. I just bought the 11m Gong Strutless V4 and hope that it markedly speeds up the learning process. In light wind i am currently forced to use my Airush 14m DNA and that is just too much damn kite and turns too damn slow for foilboarding me thinks (hopes).
Tu as raison, le kitefoil mais surtout le FOIL sur tout support c'est un long, après deux ans un amis progresse maintenant très vite maintenant. Moi je suis passé de kitefoil au wingfoil, ce dernier semble plus facile dans la gestion de la voile. PS sympa la démonstration

Dave how it went with 11m strutless? I was foiling on 12m and think about 11 strutless from gong for ultra light winds
