You shouldn't use the spatula at the glaze. Just let the gravity do its work.

I used regular, water based, food coloring
whats the use of corn syrup?
The corn syrup adds sheen and velocity of flow.
What if we don’t wanna use gelaten??
can i add abit of cocoa powder for chocolate flavor to this recipe ?
I don't recommend this because the colors wouldn't be so intense and you would need to cut down the flour otherwise you have too much dry ingredients and the cake gets dry.
