I am so excited I found your channel. I've been spinning for a few years now, and now I've become absolutely fascinated by weaving. My end goal is to get to a point where I get to wear my weaving too! Your pieces are lovely, I look forwards to enjoying the other videos as well as your future content.
Great to hear you are making larger sizes in your patterns can't wait. Love your weaving and clothes but being a larger lady find it hard to get patterns. Please keep on doing what you are doing you are truly inspiring.😊
I’m plus sized and wear 1x. I’d like simple tops (short sleeves) and simple dresses like the one in the background. Just thought I’d share as you’re in the developing stages. Your pretty creamy fabric is beautiful.
HELLOOOOO... I just found you. I love your work!!!! And you are so beautiful. I im finding your videos and stories amazing: They make me feel quite inspierd. And you encourage me to keep on working. Im ISabel, and I live in Cancun. I spin my homegrown cotton and I started weaving it in a backstrap loom . Here I can´t get any kind of loom. Ashford does not sell anything here. I maged to build a bamboo reed and that improved the quality of the fabric. I hope Im able to make a full top somewhere in the future. I also knitt and embroider. Muy only seed to fiber garmets are knitted. But they are TOOOO HOT for my weather: So searching for handwoven and sewing is how I found you. I will keep on enjoing your videos and content... THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!!
👋 hello Isabel, I'm just spinning some cotton, not homegrown I'm afraid, it's not warm enough here. So glad you're enjoying the videos, sorry to hear you can't get equipment. Enjoy the journey 👍😀
Gosh that fabric is gorgeous…so inspiring! Did you enjoy the spinning of the plant fibres? I have a load of tencel that I thought I’d spin to weave…at some point😂. I’ve never enjoyed the slipperiness of plant fibres, but maybe I’ll get into them with practice🤷🏼♀️🤞🏽
Yes, I am enjoying spinning them, I'm working quite slowly. I open the fibres out a bit first and the tension is quite low for drawing onto the bobbin.
Thankyou for another inspiring episode. Ive just completed my first weave cotton warp. With handspunto weave. Missed a few here and their. But keen to start another.:)
Good evening Sarah, I have recently discovered your channel and am enjoying it enormously! Thank you ever so much for your invaluable expertise and teaching! You have revived my love for weaving ❤❤❤
Sarah been looking for the calculator sheet on your website but can't find it. Have purchased the other sheets you mentioned project sheet etc, but no calculator sheet, can you help.

Most of my patterns go to 1x, some will be going to 4x (uk sizes and measurements on the back of each pattern)
What beautiful fabric that fibre makes!
Thank you, I'm really pleased, it's so soft!

Oh good, I think an empty loom is rather sad!
....and I don't really do "perfect", good enough is fine by me 👍

That's so good to hear 👍😊
On more selfish note I was going to ask if I can have private tuition one-to-one to keep me right please? Thank you ever so much❤❤❤
I offer tuition from my workshop, in Essex.
