The shadowing isn't due to poor light. It is due to the green screen backdrop sheet being wrinkled which is causing shadows in backdrop. Take two seconds to make sure your green background is perfectly flat without any wrinkles and you won't have the problem.
Wow that works better than Final Cut Pro. I had so much trouble experimenting with my green screen, but like you said lighting makes a huge difference.
Interesting, I got the update on the App Store but these additional features are nowhere to be seen in iMovie. I don’t have the ‘Overlay’ button at the bottom or anything else related to it. Is it being rolled out gradually or by country? Never known Apple to do this for an iMovie update but who knows. Thanks!
Thanks for the explanatory video. I tried to use this option with some of my students in their English as a second language class here in my school. One thing that didn't occur to me was the seeming inability to resize the overlay film (in your example, your daughter dancing). The students made nice videos about their weekends but when they input the overlay file, it was slap-bang in the centre (center?) of the screen, thus ruining the desired effect. Hence, my question: is there any way to resize the green-screen video either before or after adding it as an overlay, and is re-positioning possible at all? I will be looking into it myself, but it can't hurt to ask. Thank you again
The Stupider The Smarter Actually, you can. I’ll be posting a tutorial on how to use this in the next 2 days. If you would like, just subscribe to my channel and hit the bell so when I make the video, you can see how to do it. No, I am not asking you to do this for more subscribers. I am truly just trying to help.
@@5MinuteTutorials You are such a liar. You never did post a video so you are in fact just spamming peoples comments looking to trick them into subbing you. So sad and a waste of everyone's time.
You click on the pip clip, then there will be options to resize, move, and zoom. Just keep looking for those three symbols. Just click around it shouldn’t be too hard to find good luck
Of course but it also depends on which program do u use for editing. I’ve just rendered 4K 60FPS about 21 min video on Final Cut Pro X on my MacBook Air
Vicky Trading I didn’t use the stopwatch but I closed all apps and programs except FCP X for decreasing the GPU and CPU using and I think that it took about 1 hr 20 min. But I also converted the video to MP4 from WebM
I have a question, if I were to add maybe a particle affect after I punch something, could I move the green screen particle around where ever I want it?
OMG! Thank you so much! This helped me in a school project that’s worth a lot of my grade!

I want to move the video to the bottom left or upper right... I can’t find a way to do this
GooberVlogs same

Is MacBook Air 2019 can edit 4k videos like 10 min to 20 min footage?

Is there a way to add more than one background, switch from one to another?
No you’ll probably need a PC based solution for that
I have a question, if I were to add maybe a particle affect after I punch something, could I move the green screen particle around where ever I want it?
I think you'll need a more advanced editor for that.
