I just turned six years Old three days before this happened. Saw it live on this channel on that day with my classmates. Instead of morning announcements, they showed this and when the towers fell.
I was in 7th grade at the time. We watched this for morning announcements also. I left school cause my uncle was a fire fighter in NY he was there when they fell. He made it out ok.
I remember that day when all this happened. It was a typical work day and I didn’t hear news about it at first. I don’t own a TV and I rarely browse online back in 2001. I do now though, but getting news back then for me was word of mouth from friends, families, and coworkers. I’m in the west coast so this occurred thousands of miles from where I was. The first piece of news I got was from my team in my department. Word spread like wildfire from that point on and the whole office was in the break room watching the live coverage in the big screen TV. One employee in particular had a good friend whose wife had just barely visited the World Trade Center just a few days before all that went down! Even though we had a lot of work to process, it seems like the whole world kinda paused or went in slow motion after that. I don’t have or know anyone that’s a part of what happened on 9/11, but it brought a lot of sadness, and anger at the same time.

There were still some people alive on the top floor of that building when it collapsed. How horrific for them. I think at the 33 second mark you can even see someone waving something white to try to let people know they were there and still needing to be rescued.

The plane would be shot down by the interceptor tailing it or once the plane entered Restricted Air Space...it would be shot down by a SAM since deadly force is authorized in War Readiness Status for any intrusion into Restricted Air Space! However, Cheney ordered a Stand Down allowing the plane to get through to the Pentagon. Clearly, an INSIDE JOB to defeat the US Air Defense System from within! See Norman Mineta's testimony which was extraordinary courageous during the era of Bush's Politics of Fear..."You are with us or against us!" Lastly, the FAA computer system and Air Defense computer system were fully automated. Any commercial plane that deviated from it's submitted flight plan is automatically identified by the computer system and FAA controller alerted. FAA tries to first make contact with the airline pilot if there's a deviation from flight plan or transponder is turned off. If there is an anomaly, FAA calls the Air Defense Sector and fighter interception occurs. The fighter interceptor is airborne within 5 minutes and vector is given for the interception. Munich 70s (Palestines), Lockerbie 80s (a Libyan), Trade Center 90s, 9/11 on 2001 (Saudi Arabians) etc. And victims of Munich Olympics were Israelis, had nothing to do with US and Europe. Anyway the last four incidents on your list had no casualties compare to millions of Iraqis displaced and died during US invasion and occupation alone.

There were no planes hitting the towers on 911 what the media showed was CGI .the real planes that took off that day were diverted to a airforce base 15 minutes outside Boston that explains how passengers called loved ones from cell phones as cell calls above 8000feet in 2001 were impossible. Of course they could not be allowed to live. They were probably told it was an annual war game exercise they were participating in and would be paid for the inconvenience. And gassed where they sat .that air base has state of the art industrial incineration units.

I'm retired USAF and worked in the Western Air Defense Sector for just over 10 years prior to 9/11. There is NO WAY that a plane could get through to the Pentagon on 9/11. First of all...the plane would be tailed by a fighter interceptor long before it reached the Pentagon! Second...the Pentagon is within Restricted Air Space. Third...all commercial planes were ordered to be grounded before the plane reached the Pentagon so at that point "shoot down" would be authorized! The plane would be shot down by the interceptor tailing it or once the plane entered Restricted Air Space...it would be shot down by a SAM since deadly force is authorized in War Readiness Status for any intrusion into Restricted Air Space! However, Cheney ordered a Stand Down allowing the plane to get through to the Pentagon. Clearly, an INSIDE JOB to defeat the US Air Defense System from within! See Norman Mineta's testimony which was extraordinary courageous during the era of Bush's Politics of Fear..."You are with us or against us!" Lastly, the FAA computer system and Air Defense computer system were fully automated. Any commercial plane that deviated from it's submitted flight plan is automatically identified by the computer system and FAA controller alerted. FAA tries to first make contact with the airline pilot if there's a deviation from flight plan or transponder is turned off. If there is an anomaly, FAA calls the Air Defense Sector and fighter interception occurs. The fighter interceptor is airborne within 5 minutes and vector is given for the interception.
