About 30 years ago I went on the same tour,as I entered the Norman chaple I walked to the left side,I was the only one but as I was walking something or someone walked clean through my body,(never ever felt that before),I quickly moved over to the right side of the chapel with everyone else, about 10 min later our tour guide,stated that not many visitors stood on the left side,as a mischievous monk had a habit of walking through the visitors,you could have knocked me down with a feather !
