  • Before leaving the USA to come to Namibia, I threw out all my crystal jewelry after seeing so much content telling me gemstones were demonic. This video explores my journey to discern the truth about this and my journey to understand the voice of Yah and seek him instead of social media for my understanding of what is genuinely acceptable in his eyes.
Here's my full baptism story if you'd like to explore that: • Yahuah called me to ge...
Here is the baptism story on the blog with the words from Yah written out: shilohbashan.c...

Good message. God literally created every mineral, element and substance on this Earth. We are supposed to appreciate what He created. Even the priests wore gemstones. Wearing jewels and gemstones is not evil, it's all about intent. For instance, some cult groups use wood in different rituals, as well as mud and clay; but that doesn't mean we can't use wood and clay for dishes, jewelry and art.
People want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. The intention and spirit behind what we have in our lives is what matters, not the object itself - especially considering the fact that God made crystals and gemstones, and they are mentioned in a positive light in the Garden of Eden story.
I have also learned about the importance of spending time in nature, walking around barefoot for the health benefits, and also sun exposure. The Bible doesn't specifically talk about the importance of spending time in the sun, but we know how important sun exposure is for vitamin D synthesis, as well as its effects on serotonin, circadian rhythm, etc.

You are far ahead of me in this understanding. Thank you for that. I am just starting to understand for the first time the power of God actually being the creator and the intricacies of what he made. I understand why the church family is often afraid of seeing it that way because no one wants to risk being pagan by accident. Still, in my few hours of study of what paganism is, I am pretty sure their problem is that they literally worshipped creation and not the Father. You can honor him for his creation and understand how incredible it is and how intricate his design is without leaving him out of it. He didn't waste energy. He does everything with intention, and there is so much value in what he has built for us.

Yah will replace what you gave away. He has seen the intent of your heart and will provide that ram in the thicket. Being the maker and creator of all things, He will provide you with more than what you have already given away.

What a beautiful message. The funny thing is, I had just been having a human moment again and wished I still had some of those old things. I loved that jewelry. Then I saw this message. It was timely and appreciated. Yes, I believe now that he knows my heart and that I was willing to throw it all out, he will return to me something of greater value, something that has meaning to the journey he has me on.
