I love my dehydrator. I especially like dehydrating veggies, grinding them down making a healthy green powder to add to lots a different foods. It’s a great way to get extra vitamins. Prices have really risen on dehydrators and canners/canning supplies the last 2 years. I have also used Fisher products for years and find the quality to be very good.

Wow, that is a huge store! During the pandemic when we had some temporary supply problems in Canada stores would limit items and you could buy only 1 or 2 at a time. I never found it a problem because I always have reserves at home.
Dear "Different Russia", This drying device, which you were looking at, has a problem, that all such items have and that is the premature aging of the trays, because of the frequent temperature changes, that they are subjected to! If you have such an item or a similar one, you can substitute the plastic trays with metal ones, as used for cooling off cakes! Thank you for this interesting video! Hope, that you can continue!
Acrylic plastics are valued for their transparency, but they do tend to be brittle. I could just see accidentally dropping one of these and having it shatter. A more durable plastic, like tough polyethylene would have been much better for this product.
Try using your oven to dehydrate. Use the metal roasting/cooking racks with the small square holes to lay your food on. Turn your oven on to 180 Fahrenheit. It may take 14/20 hours to dry the food but if you get the racks that stack you can dry a lot at one time. I have gas stove but I’m sure this will work for electric too.
